ST Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) in Episode VII

Isn't this the same guy as the other pic? And I'm not seeing face paint. And the guy in front is definitely not Isaac either.

Yeah, I meant the guy behind. The nose is what got me. I may be wrong.

 

He'll be known as 'ol' red face' in this movie and on all the action figures. A major part of the plot will be explaining why he has a red face.

 

DarthWilliams, oh the guy BEHIND. Sorry for the mix up. Um well, it COULD be him. Difficult to tell, but certainly possible. And if zoom right in it doesn't look like his face is red after all.

I think if it was Oscar then the photographer would've recognised him, but depends how long the lens is I guess...

Tried to figure out if they are the same by comparing their noses. Failed miserably.

 

The curvature of the nose is rather distinctive and appears in both photos, so I'd say it's him.

 

All I can say is they look alike, at least from that angle lol.

 

I posted the pictures to Tumblr, where there's a group of dedicated Oscar Isaac fans and asked them to take a look at it. I figured his hardcore fans will be able to figure it out!

 

If this is Oscar, think we can probably agree that is NOT his costume and more something to cover up what he's really wearing from the prying cameras

For sure! If it was, I'd be worried where the money in the budget was going to!

 

OK, I played around with the brightness levels a bit in Photoshop to try to make the face more clear, and I'm growing more and more convinced that it's Isaac:

Yup, think you might be right. I think it's him.

 

Will they be easier to recognize?

 

I think he wants to know if he's wearing stormtrooper boots.

 

Well he is a size 10.5 shoe so if we could get a shot of his feet with something of known size in the background we could then calculate if it....

No really I just wanted to know if he had the same storm trooper boots on. Would be revealing if it was actually him.

If we get a pic of him in Stormtrooper boots that could turn the whole rumour mill on its head. Everyone is so certain that John is the stormtrooper... But what if it's Oscar???

 

I'd imagine every cast member involved on this location shoot would wear those black rain jackets to hide their costumes from the cameras.

 

Every now and then somebody or other adds themselves (or someone does it for them) to the IMDB cast list and almost invariably the character they play is a Stormtrooper; they then get quickly deleted. I get the feeling they are 'very' prominent in this movie. Perhaps both John and Oscar play Stormtroopers. Maybe there's an entire rogue squadron (similarity to the x-wing squadron is entirely coincidental!) in this movie or are they still bad at this point I wonder? Just a thought...

 

Oscar and John will play stormtrooper friends that end up fighting each other =(
