Full Series Luminara Unduli in Rebels (MASSIVE SPOILERS)

As thrilled as I was to see Luminara again...I was also sad all morning after seeing her final fate.

The IGN Dave Filoni Interview is fascinating though for those who have not yet seen it. Definitely helps put the pieces together. What a fantastic episode.

 

It was seriously unnerving. At least she is actually resting in peace, unlike what I was thinking before that interview.

It's still all sorts of creepy. In some ways Aayla Secura, Plo Koon, and so forth were the lucky ones...

 

The most interesting thing from that entire interview was Barriss not being executed, but convicted. She is still alive.

 

Yeah, Luminara got it pretty rough. Before the War is even over, her padawan falls to the Dark Side and bombs the temple, then although she evades Order 66, she sees the world litterally fall apart around her, everything that she fought for crumbling away. Then she is hunted down by the Empire taken into custody, possibly tortured, executed, and then her body is used to lure other Jedi to their deaths.

 

Understatement of the year.

 

Its terrifying to imagine what happened to Luminara, but these are the dark times - stories like this help to show the full scope of Palpatines madness. I'm just hopeful that having her survive Order 66 meant that she continued the work of the Jedi Order while in exile before her capture.

 

Which makes me wonder if Sheev is now using her as an Inquisitor or if she found some way to escape.

 

I'm thinking she might wind up with some Winter Solder-style brainwashing.

 

Could work.

 

Yeah. I could see it too.

 

Bariss and Bogan (Dark Side) go together like PB&J.

 

If we see Barris it will mean her death.

 

Maybe. But, neither Ezra or Kanan should kill Barris

 

If anyone has to end her life, let it be Ahsoka(If she should show up) or maybe even Vader.

 

Ahsoka needs to make a cameo. Confronting Barris is a Grat opportunity. I would enjoy dialogue between Ezra and Ahsoka.

Ezra: So you are Padawan like Kanan. Didn't finish your training either eh?

Ahsoka looking grim and says: I chose to no finish my training.

Ezra: You dropped out?!

Ahsoka: Something like that.

*Kanan takes Ezra to his room*

Ezra: What? What I say?!

Kanan: Ahsoka is a hero I the Clone Wars and the former apprentice of the Chosen One. She deserves your respect.

Ezra: Why did she leave the Jedi?

Kanan: It was her own personal choice. But it saved her life.

 

I'd imagine Kanan at least knew of Ahsoka. If not for being the chosen ones padawan, then at least for being betrayed and leaving the order.

 

I really hope Ahsoka appears in Rebels. She is one of my favorite Clone Wars characters. I however would not like to see her confront Vader. I think she has already endured enough.

I agree. Why kill off such someone with so much potential.

I mean, I can potentially inhabit her brain, is that too much to ask, that I infest live flesh? #zombieworldproblems

 

Ahsoka killing Barriss would give me flashbacks to Jaina killing Jacen. Just awful on so many levels.

 

Not to mention Jacen was killed off too early too. Such a waste of brains.

 

I also added OR vader.

I really wouldn't expect Ahsoka to kill Barriss either. But I thought I would throw it out there.

 

There is no way that would really make sense for Ashoka and Barris to live to the OT I don't want it to be a happy ending.
