Holy wobbleface, what's happened there?

More 'meh' this morning. Standard pewp, entirely unremarkable in every respect.

On a hopeful note, today is a high carb day and I've had a big old bowl of porridge (oatmeal) as part of my breakfast. Maybe, just maybe, there'll be something noteworthy brewing in my bowels later on.

Hit another PR last night in the turkish get up on a 'light' day. Over 100lbs and it felt pretty easy. Although I've focused on neurological aspects of strength until recently, I have to - grudgingly - admit that extra muscle makes a big difference.

Now they've named ep vii, I'm wishing for new members who lift. And poop.

A 120kg bench is pretty solid. I'm always more interested in what someone squats and deadlifts because I think they're better indicators of strength, but that's still a good lift.

Decent turnout this morning. Voluminous and dark brown with a pungent odour, as of rotting leaves.

 

I've just found out that blunderbuss was a Dutch word meaning 'thunderpipe'. I like them even more now. From this day forth, my pewpchute shall be known as thunderpipe.

In other news, I'm busy turning this lot into poo.

I love Brussels sprouts. One of my favourite raw materials for poop manufacture.

 

Those things are damned delicious.

 

And they're packed with fibre, which helps add bulk to poop.

A poopy story for you all.

My sister just texted that se was about sit and relax with a cup of coffee when she walked into my 1 year old nephew's room. She found him playing with his poop, smearing it all over his crib, bedclothes and himself. When he saw her, he smiled wide and showed her his poop-smeared little hands. To make things worse, he's been taking antibiotics so it was all diarrhea.

I laughed until my sides hurt. That just made my day.

In other news, today was my last heavy training session before competing next weekend. Just about to tuck into my second recovery meal. Can't waot to turn this lot into poop.

Yeah, it was good. As much as my primary concern is getting the nutrients I need to recover from training, it helps when food tastes good.
