What do you think the punishment for the stormtrooper who was 'Forced' to let the droids by when later it was discovered they were indeed the droids being looked for?

I imagine he had to scrub the floors of the death star with his tooth brush.

 

More than likely, Vader choked them to death.

LOL, all of you are way too funny.

I would have loved to have been in the room when one of his storm trooper buddies whips out his iphone and says, "Here's a photo of the droids we are looking for."

And the storm trooper who had been forced saying, "Oh. Well... I ... uh I have never seen those droids."

And a trooper walks up behind them and catches a glance of the iphone photo, and he says, "Hey, aren't those the droids you let pass yesterday?"

The forced trooper stands up, all hostile, "Yeah, well it's hot out there. It's a wonder we all don't pass out in the heat having to wear these plastic suits."

 

They sorta did. But not the way you think.

 

Some of those are hilarious. In all seriousness, however, I imagine he didn't tell anyone. If memory serves me, Vader had already left to go to the Death Star, and the stormtroopers may well have only had to return to that particular Star Destroyer. As it has often been said, they are the most incompetent military force ever depicted on film.

Do we even know that there was a punishment? For all the Empire knows, they got out before the troopers started their sweep or was just slick rick and got right passed every check point without ever being seen/stopped.

But, maybe they got stuck with a particular Gungan.
