Full Series Ahsoka in Rebels

I'm still hoping that a future comic and/or novel is released to fill Ahsoka's gap-story. For all we know, it could have more to do with Rex and the remaining clones than we realize.

 

I would be more then fine with that.

So a new Clone Wars story would seem most likely. I mean why else would Matt Lanter recorded some Anakin?

 

That was for Bad batch I believe which at the time they had not finished recording but were almost done anyway.

So Ahsoka fighting the new Inquisitors is going to be interesting. And Seventh Sister looks like she's really going to enjoy fighting Ahsoka as well.

The Seventh Sister's apparent obsession with Ahsoka Tano points to her probably actually being Barriss Offee, as has been suspected for a long time.

 

Except DF has confirmed it is not.

 

I'm hoping at the Rebels panel at the NYCC today someone asked an intelligent question about Ahsoka there. I know I would've if I had the chance to go.

Ahsoka vs. Seventh Sister looks like it could be really cool. Oh and her obsession with Ahsoka makes FAR less sense if she isn't Barriss, but oh well I guess.

We don't really know that it's a singular obsession though, and even if it is we don't know if it's at all personal. The Inquisitors are Vader's enforcers. They fear him and at the same time they are apparently trying to win his favor and take the mantle of Grand Inquisitor. That all leads me to believe the Ahsoka connection is that she is a major priority in Vader's book (both for being his apprentice and for the potential to find Obi-Wan through her), and Vader's priorities naturally are an Inquisitor's priorities.

 

Wasted opportunity.

Well hopefully they can work her in to some other plot eventually; where she does have an uncomfortable reunion with Ahsoka.

If Filoni himself made it clear that they are two different characters, there's nothing more to be discussed about the assumption. But we're still open for talking about Barriss appearing elsewhere. I doubt too many people would take up issue with that.

 

Not the first time I've heard devs/directors say no it isn't this character...

 

Considering it's not who we had assumed it was; Ahsoka shouldn't have a problem taking on both Inquisitors during that scene shown in the trailer. Going into the fight with a clear conscious. No strings attached; got it?

 

Barriss will actually appear in an upcoming SW spin-off movie called, "Die Jedi, Die!"
