Raiders - My favorite film not in the Star Wars saga and one of the best of all time.
Doom - About five or six years ago Willie Scott started to annoy me less and it pulled ahead of Crusade. Movie is amazing!
    Crusade - An action/adventure classic.

Skull - Not a bad movie just not in the same class as the first three. Pushed over the top into clearly goofy at times. Seems a little crowded.

I've never minded Willie at all. I can understand some finding her annoying but she always gives me a good chuckle whenever I watch TOD. I honestly find she adds to the movie's charm.

Definitely agree with the first two rated as the highest. Always thought they had a special edge to them.

    Crusade
    Raiders
    Crystal
    Doom

Honestly I really like them all, but you asked! Seriously, I could just as easily pop in Doom as Crusade when I feel like watching Indy:)

I love the first three Indy movies just as much as the original Star Wars trilogy.

    1. Raiders of the Lost Ark
    2. The Last Crusade
    3. Temple of Doom

I don't like Crystal Skull as much as the others, but I still see redeeming qualities. Ford brought his A game as usual.

Same. I often feel alone in thinking they're all really good.

Slightly off-topic but R.I.P. to Douglas Slocombe, the director of photography on the first three movies. Passed away earlier sadly. At 103 years old he had a long and fulfilled life, and captured some of the most striking imagery ever seen on film with his work on the original three Indy films.

    Raiders
    Crusade
    Crystal
    Doom

I think Crystal Skull is a fun movie with some flaws. It gets a bad rap because the three previous films are pretty flawless for the most part. I just enjoy Crystal Skull more than Temple of Doom. I do hate the flying monkey scene though..

The swinging monkey scene in KOTCS doesn't bother me much anymore but it definitely was an eye-roller the first time I saw it.

Off-topic but I just realized this has been here two years already. It's nearing a decade since KOTCS came out, too. Time's definitely flown.

    Last Crusade
    Raiders
    Temple of Doom
    Crystal Skull

The last two sorta go back and forth for me. I'm not a big fan of either, but I don't dislike them either.

I find with Crusade and Skull I rotate as well with my rank. Kind of depends on the day you catch me on.

Interesting to see how KOTCS' reception has improved so much more all these years later and seems especially more liked by the younger generation of fans. I bet it was likely the first exposure to Indy for many of the newer fans.

    Temple of Doom

-The best villian in Moleraam.(sp?) Imo. A very strong performance, often overlooked.
-The character of Indy in this film is what the character was intended to be, based off the 100+ page transcript on discussion between Lucas and Spielberg.
-great lighting and extravagant set production.
-great performances all around. Spielberg did a wonderful job directing non English speaking actors.
    -SHORT ROUND.
    -very adult dialog.
-it's frightening with loads of exposition to create a bigger payoff.

    Last Crusade

    Raiders of The Lost Arc.

It's Mola Ram. He is an excellent villain, full of menace and danger. And the heart removal and bridge scenes are terrifying.

    1) Raiders of the Lost Ark
    2) The Last Crusade
    3) Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
    4) Temple of Doom

Though ultimately I love all 4, and the last two are basically interchangeable depending on my mood

    Raiders
    Doom
    Crusade

Skull...OK but definitely not great as the 80's models.

Skull has grown on me a huge deal since I first saw it. I bet it would've been better-regarded if it came out in the 90s, not overly long after TLC.
