All Star Comics #8, the comic that introduced Wonder Woman to the world, went on sale on October 21, 1941.

Never read the comics but I had a HUGE crush on Linda Carter when I was a kid.

In other news, the UN rejected wonder woman but recruited one of the spice girls?

100 times stronger than the best male athletes. I'm not sure about records then but I do recall a strongman in the 30's that did a 344 pound military press. So WW could possibly do 17.2 tons. In the 80's Mayfair Games provided her with stats which allowed he to lift Mt Everest.

Have these people even read a comic in their lives?

She's a great symbol and champion for the responsible BDSM crowd! And her invisible jet is almost entirely emission-free.
