Information, that would put Arok the Hutt in a bad daylight, really could come in handy right now. Black Sun might be ready to get rid of Arok, but the Besadii are not yet. Before we can implement our plan, and send the Mandalorians and Desjillac to Kor Besadii, we first must receive the approval of Durga and his father. The intelligence, gathered by this so-called Bookman, could do the trick. Combined with other information obtained by our operatives, such as Arok's meetings with Wara and the wiping out of the Death Watch, the Besadii clansmen might be convinced to turn on their leader. However, we need to be careful. Like Vigo ConservativeJedi321 mentioned, we do not know Bookman's motives. The information would need to be checked out, but that will be very difficult. Perhaps, we need to include Durga. He might be able to make sense of Bookman's information.

OOC: Like my fellow gamemaster pointed out, the game's second anniversary is coming closer. I would like to thank all players for their participation. The game couldn't have been possible without you all!

General Immodet Leave Durga to me. I have established quite a connection with him over the years, and my contacts still know ways of getting in touch with him. Once he can confirm the succession, I will give the Mandalorians and the Desjillac the signal to take Arok out.

OOC: I agree with my fellow GM's sentiment. Thanks to everybody for participating! We've told a lot of amazing stories in here that would not be possible without your collaboration.

OOC: Apologies for the absence as of late. Hectic week. Also, my first post in this game was over a year and a half ago, or 20 months ago. Time flies. Here's hoping for another two years :)

Hm, I agree. We need to be careful and Durga is the best option for validating this info.
I will ask Otsisa to maintain Bookman at our Space Station 16 until his information checks out.
Unless any other Vigo has an objection or any other idea.

OOC: I'm glad to be here all, I love this game and am having a blast.

OOC: I'm back, finally. Sorry for the extended absence, the last month did not go even remotely how I expected it to. Sorry as well for holding anything up if I did. Thanks for you guys patience.

    IC: Bookman/ Du Hutta

To say that Bookman was not exactly in the position he'd expected was an understatement. A camp in the middle of nowhere, in a group of tents on the backside of what amounted to a hutt's slime covered underbelly. But at least he was out from under Arok's thumb. That it had required him to track down the black sun's lieutenant in the area had been highly unexpected, but in a way that he'd been able to was an establishment of his credentials in and of itself. And so he sat with said Lt. Frerwalka explaining some of what was on the data disk. "So as you can see, it's extremely clear that what Arok is reporting is highly inaccurate. On it's own the spice that is going missing is substantial enough to upset the entirety of the Besadii clan." Bookman looked to see if Otsisa Frerwalka was following, and she seemed to be on at least an elementary level.

Smiling a small satisfied smile to himself, Bookman showed her a small piece of the coup de gras of the dangerous little chip. "But this... well, this is something that will make every Hutt angry with him." He showed a small portion of one of a very large number of holo recordings on the chip. What it showed was Arok partaking of a large amount of spice, among other things. That he was a Hutt allowed him to mix a larger number of things than most other species with how unfortunately hearty they were. "Based on the numbers on this chip, Arok has never purchased anything that he has partaken of. So not only is he stealing from Clan Basadii, but he's doing it by using the drugs that he's just flat out not reporting. The real books show exactly how much he's using and honestly... I'm surprised he's even still alive, Hutt though he is." Turning the clip off he looked straight at Otsisa Frerwalka. "As you can see, this will utterly destroy Arok and lose him pretty much any allies that he currently has. I've gone over this with a fine tooth comb since getting it, and it's all legit. I've corroborated it through a few other sources as well."

Closing down the datapad, Bookman stuck it back in his pocket, the chip still inserted in it. "I'm assuming your bosses will want to know what my price is. There are two things. I want my freedom back, and Black Suns insurance that they'll protect me from being taken over again by any organizations such as this. For this they'll also have cheaper access to my services in the future should they wish them. Second... I want Arok. I want to kill him for the hell he's put me through for the last decade. No one should have had to put up with the deprivations that go with being under a Hutt. Tell your bosses, or let me speak to them myself." There was a look of... something Bookman wasn't quite sure what it was on her face, but she nodded and went to talk to her immediate superior. Bookman knew that it was ConservativeJedi321, but he figured he should play that kind of information close to the vest. Or simply let it sit in his head. Along with a very large number of other things that were residing in his mind that were far too dangerous for him to talk about.

Tyli'it came over to him and sat down, not saying a word. They were surrounded by enough troops from Black Sun that they could be disposed of pretty easily. But that would cost them the information on the chip, as there was a sequence of things that had to be done for any datachip plugged into Bookman's datapad to be removed or it would destroy whatever was on it. Literally melting it to a chunk of hard plast. "Are you sure we're safe Master Bookman?" Tyli'it rubbed his hands together nervously, looking around with twitchy movements.

Sighing softly, not wanting to deal with his overly nervous compatriot, Bookman said, "We're as safe as we can be given what we're doing. We have some cards to play, but we're definitely the underdog in this situation. But I think Black Sun will value this enough that they won't kill us. Besides, we aren't exactly asking for much. It's a bargain for this kind of information really, but we have to get out. And for that I'll give them the bargain of a lifetime." Tyli'it nodded and seemed to calm down slightly.

"Thank you Master." Bookman looked away and grimaced. I may end up regretting killing him. But practical concerns would win out, no matter how pathetic his target was. And the simple truth of the matter was the Twi'lek was too good at finding things he shouldn't, and had already show he would betray his master. That was not a good pair of things to combine on a resume. But it wasn't time just yet. A scapegoat was far too useful of a thing to have if everything went bad. And when Hutts were involved there was a disturbing tendency for that to happen, and Black Sun wasn't exactly far behind them when it came to people in his precise position.

Immediately after the Bookman finished his transaction, Shadow Trooper had his people contact Durga the Hutt.
"We have received some information from A Blind Prophet that you might find interesting. Our source was someone very close to your leadership, so you need not doubt it's authenticity. And don't bother looking for our informant either, they are long gone. Notice anything about your Spice Shipments lately"
"What are you playing at Corellian?" Durga rumbled. His yellow eye lazily scanned the information packet sent by the Vigo. "So maybe you killed our guy in the Death Watch and maybe some of your raiders took out the Ryloth mines, but so what? We still out perform your Spice production by double the amount.Your small victory will not persuade the council to side with you over Arok."
"It is not the producers of your spice which should concern you Durga." Shadow Trooper smiled a feral grin. "It is your consumers."
Durga watched the footage of Arok using the spice. "I see. This is indeed a far more persuasive argument. If Arok is truly an addict, than he has made himself a great liability to the continued success of the Besadii."
"He is finished then?" Shadow Trooper asked
"Most certainly." Durga replied. "My father and I will present this to the elders tomorrow. I doubt Arok will go quietly though."
"No need to worry on that score my friend. I have an intuition that the Arok problem will soon solve itself."

ConservativeJedi321: According to Shadow Trooper, the intelligence gathered by A Blind Prophet checks out. The Besadii clan is withdrawing its support from their leader, Arok the Hutt, as we speak. Although Bookman's demands are reasonable, he also provides with the perfect opportunity to blame Arok's assassination on someone else. Let me explain...

Let Otsisa keep close watch on Bookman untill the Mandalorians arrive. The Mandalorian mercenaries will be payed extra to take Bookman with them to Kor Besadii. Once Arok's sentries are disposed off, our new 'ally' will be allowed to take revenge. The other Hutts must know how bad their leader treated his servants, so Bookman's involvement in Arok's death should cause no surprise. Afterwards, our operatives will silence Bookman, making sure nothing can be traced back to us. What do you think?

Once the plans for the invasion of the Besadii were finalized, Vigo Shadow Trooper contacted the Vigos Darth Master Titus and Darth Rozic.
"I have a favor to ask of you my friends." The Corellian said. "Despite taking out Kessell and Ryloth, the Besadii still manage to outproduce our Spice Mines by 2/1. This is very troubling to me. If they continue to hold this advantage, than the new Besadii regime may be just as unwilling to deal with us as Arok was, or he may try to extort more concessions from us than we are willing to give. My agent, Captain Tulkis, has managed to track down a potential source of their shipments to a Religious cult on the Hutt world of Ylesia. We speculate that the Besadii allow the cult to operate on world as a cover to their activities, similar to how Vigo General Immodet uses the Order of the Ffib on Lohrans. I would like you to send some operatives to investigate this religious compound and see if you can ascertain the location of any spice production facilities. Be very careful that you are not discovered, we can not risk any further disruptive incidents at this critical time."

Report from Zeema, coming from Kashyyyk

Due to the current situation, I had almost forgotten to put together a report on what had occurred on Ryloth. Though most of you know, the spice mines have fallen! In my last report, I left off right when Gan, Zarta, Razar, and I were about to enter through the back of the mine and go ahead with the original plan of bombing the place. We ran into a few guards, but they were making their way to the front entrance and didn't expect a small group coming from behind. The mine was down within the hour. The Hutts wavered, but did not break, but that small pause was enough for the Twi'leks to turn into a rout.

A while afterwards, my three friends escorted me back to Drew's outpost, and we said our goodbyes. I almost considered telling them I had lied. But I knew they would hate me if I said that, and I wanted them to know I would miss them no matter what. I don't think they exactly knew what I meant by that, but hopefully they'll remember it when they're being sold as cargo.

    Black Sun Space Station 16
The old facility was a secret base operating in Hutt space, once a bit of an embassy of the Black Sun to the Hutts, it now functioned as their stealth staging area. Otsisa had just finished changing into a more heavy-duty armor, and the operation was set. It wasn't expected to be little more than a small skirmish, a quick in and out, Arok and his entire operation would fall in under a day. The Hanger was still crowded, two dozen Mandalorian Commando's performing training drills, as well as the "home team", that is the crew that would monitor the operation from here and report to the Vigo Council on their progress.
The pink Twi'lek scanned the crowed distantly, and her eye's came upon the only figure that wasn't armed tooth and nail, though she thought perhaps he should have been. They were expected to launch in mere minutes, and if he hoped to get a shot at Arok, he would be wise to be dressed for a fight.
"Hey! Bookman. The fights about to begin, you better get ready." She approached the man.
She was still skeptical of his intent, but the Council had accepted his demands, and that included going after Arok.
"Would you like a personal guard for the fight?" She asked before he could even answer the last statement.

    IC: Bookman/ Space Station 16

Sitting amidst a small army preparing for war was an interesting experience for Bookman, as it was the first... and hopefully last time it was ever going to happen. Fighting wasn't precisely what he was most comfortable doing, especially in this type of setting. That didn't mean he was incapable, and had never been involved in a fight or anything, but never something of this scale. He glanced at Tyli'it sitting next to him, and the sheer amount of perspiration on his brow and headtails would have soaked a washcloth instantly. Bookman was glad that he wasn't letting his own nerves show in such a fashion, but he could feel that his own heart rate was certainly higher than normal.

To say that he felt out of place amidst all of the armored brutes was a bit of an understatement. At least everything that he'd wanted was going to be granted by Black Sun... supposedly. He was not under any illusions and was well aware that his value had played itself out, and that there was no particular reason for them to hold to their word. That he would make the most convenient scapegoat for the death of Arok was undeniable, employee goes mad and can't take the brutal treatment anymore was certainly believable. Although where he would have gotten the military forces... well, that was a curious question that he suspected would be very quickly swept under the rug assuming it was ever even asked. Bookman was very well aware that the Hutts were unhappy with Arok at this point, and the easiest way of cleaning up the entire mess would be the path that would be taken. Least resistance and all that.

He was brought out of his revery when Otsisa said that he had better get prepared. Glancing around at all of the beings checking weapons, or armor straps, Bookman felt distinctly under prepared. Looking down at himself the only thing that he had was his normal clothing, which certainly wasn't going to be particularly useful in a fire fight, and a pair of krayt dragon bone handled slugthrowers, one loaded with teflon coated bullets which would cut through armor, or Hutt, like a hot knife through butter, the other with explosive ammo, which gave him a bit of flexibility depending on what he was going to be dealing with. But that was all that he had other than a short vibroblade tucked into his boot and a few other clips of ammo scattered wherever he could manage to fit them. "What, this isn't prepared enough?"

It seemed as though she wasn't actually interested in his response though, as she continued and asked if he wanted a personal guard. It was an interesting question, one with some pros and cons that he wasn't going to truly be able to weigh in fullness. In truth he could simply walk in, as he'd been gone without warning many times in his stay with Arok. "I believe... that I will go without. I had actually intended to just walk in and 'accidentally' leave you an unlocked door to sneak in through. Power of surprise and all that would be much greater in such circumstances I would imagine." Bookman neglected to mention that he was fully aware of Arok's escape plan, and had already figured out exactly where he was going to cut him off... and he was also trying to figure out how to pin the entire thing on the majordomo, who for whatever reason had asked to go with him. It was a startling display of loyalty from an already proven disloyal being. But that was an oddity to be considered at a later time. The other bonus to his plan was that it would also keep him completely free of the bulk of the fighting, which certainly was high up on his priority list.

Lieutenant Frerwalka gave a slight smirk at the Bookmans sarcasm, and nodded when the man declined her offer. She wasn't exactly surprised, but instead disappointed. She had hoped to have someone there to watch him, he was still an unknown factor, and she didn't like unknown factors.

Otsisa turned to face the gathering of Mando's. Grabbing a helmet off a nearby box she placed it on her head. It fit nicely, made specifically for Twi'leks it had two holes in the back to allow her lekku to stick out, and a T-visor so she could blend in well with the crew. She was still marked different as perhaps the visibly least humanoid of them, but she doubted anyone would notice. Different clans had different policies regarding outsiders, and aliens in particular, but the vast majority of them held to traditions allowing integration and acceptance to both.

She pressed a button on the side of the helmet, activating the communications unite, to command.
"Everyone is ready. Time to saddle up and go?"

    Kor Besadii Space Station

A long time ago, the Kor Besadii space station served as an important trading point within Hutt space. Slavers and pirates from all across the Galaxy travelled to the space station hoping to sell their merchandise to the mighty Besadii clan. However, circumstances had changed over the last couple of centuries. Now, the space station's function was limited to providing fuel for Hutt freighters. But it only seemed that way... No one would have expected the great leader of the Besadii clan, Arok the Hutt, to hide himself right here in such an unluxurious surrounding. At least, not untill people started gossiping about Arok's whereabouts. The Desilijic clan, sworn enemies of the Besadii, decided to pay attention to the rumours and send operatives to the space station. The Desilijic agents disguised themselves as a freighter crew, while in fact they belonged to Jilruan Flecheteers.

After observating their environment, the Jilruan Flecheteers sneaked away from the docking area, carefully avoiding all camera's. They infiltrated deeper and deeper into the space station untill they encountered a Rodian guard. Without any problem, the security guard was taken care off by the Desilijic assassins. The Jilruan Flecheteers were surprised they didn't run into more guards. Apparently, Arok the Hutt had been too busy with using spice, they concluded. When the assassins entered the next room, they began noticing a strange smell. As they moved closer towards the smell, they stumbled upon an horrific sight. Inside one of the space station's rooms lay numerous bodies, all of them belonging to former servants of Arok the Hutt. Strangely, the bodies showed very little signs of violence. Then, suddenly the doors of the room closed, leaving the Jilruan Flecheteers trapped inside. From the panels in the wall a toxic gass called Dioxis was pumped inside the chamber. Since the Desjilijic agents were too busy trying to open the room's doors, they didn't notice a camera zoomed in on them. From inside a saferoom, Arok the Hutt watched his enemies die just like his unloyal servants had perished days ago...

Otsisa sat in the transport shuttle with the whole fighting group, waiting hesitantly for the time to strike. When she heard the docking clamp, and the snap hiss of the door opening she stood up. "Remember your objectives, Red Group, blue group, secure levels 1 though fifteen, orange group, yellow group, levels sixteen through thirty one, Black group, white group, you're with me. Come on boys this is where the fun begins!"

They all poured out of the cramped pod, and began working their ways through the dark halls. It was a spooky station, and it clearly had not been cared for appropriately. Every time they passed a security camera they shot it out. Their guest might know they're coming, but the last thing they wanted was for him to be able to see where they were at any given time.

Three rooms were cleared without trouble, but when they came upon the fourth the real fighting began. Several dozen guard droids were present. Otsisa and her three man squad made short work of them, blasting in face plates, and turning them into scrap mettle. They didn't go quietly, these were no B1's, and indeed they lasted for a whole thirty seconds. She didn't recognize the model, strange. But they had no time to waste. Moving into the adjacent hallway they began approaching their target. And old laboratory that housed the facilities defense grid. But just as it came into sight an unmistakable rolling noise was heard. Her attention was drawn to the right tunnel, and the three crablike droids that burst out of it. They quickly unfolded, and activated shield generators. "Blast!" she yelled as she dived in between a pair of pylons sticking out of the wall. "Droideka's! Where in the blazes did he get Droideka's!" One of her Mando Mercs was blasted dead before he could take cover, but the other two held strong. "I don't know, but I doubt he'll get his deposit on them back!" One laughed. Pressing a button on his gauntlet he released an oil spray, while his companion tossed a thermal detonator. Overkill much? She ducked behind her cover and closed her eye's, a bright flash was seen, and a radiating boom was heard. For a moment she thought the whole facility shook. But was surprised to see she was still in one piece.

Smoke was pilling up, and red lights were flashing. "We need to hurry!" She shouted. "At this rate Arok will escape before we can get to him!" Swiftly running towards their first objective, Otsisa was starting to wonder if she would even survive this mission.

Ben walked into the main control room of the Kashyyyk base to find his boss sitting with his face buried in his folded arms on the desk. He had noticed a change in S_Heffley recently, but had not spoke up about it. Ben got the impression he was about to know what had been troubling him all this time.

    Ben: Are you okay, sir?

    S_Heffley: I can't do it anymore, I just can't do it.

    Ben: Sir?

S_Heffley: Have you read Zeema's report? About the friends she made?

Ben: I have. What about it?

S_Heffley: It made me think. I never have had any personal connection to any of the slaves I export, but the fact that I could be tearing that kind of friendship apart? I can't do this anymore. I need a break. Working in this dark underworld has torn me apart. I want a family. I want to live a normal life. And the fact that I've been tearing apart families has been eating me up these past few weeks.

    Ben: But the slave trade...

S_Heffley: I know how vital the slave trade is to the Black Sun. And that's why I'm instating you as the new head of the base here on Kashyyyk. If I could make you a Vigo, I would, but the power to do that is not in my hands. For now, rule here as I would.

Ben watched as S_Heffley rose and went to the door. He turned and said one last thing.

S_Heffley: I'm going to miss you. You and Ryan were the only real friends I ever had. Once I find a nice planet to settle down on, I'll contact you. Maybe you can visit sometime. For now, I'm off. Tell the other Vigos and the men here what has happened. I can't stick around to give a final speech, something will convince me to stay. But the people trust you enough, they'll believe you. I don't know if I'll ever come back to this place, but let this be said: I'll serve Black Sun to my death if duty calls.

OOC: I'm not sure if the word got out or I was meant to say this myself, but this post is me saying I'm taking a break from the game. There's been some fun times in this game and I'm gonna miss it a lot, but these days I don't have the motivation to write anything. I feel like I'm slowing down the game, and don't want to take away the fun from others. I'm going to miss playing with you all, even the new players. I would like to say I will be back, but there's no being sure. For now, I guess this is goodbye :)

IC: Bookman/ Kor Besadii Space Station

If Bookman had thought that the preparation was interesting, the flight to the space station could only be called unnerving. Tyli'it sat next to him, constantly fidgeting with his head tails, various bits of his clothing, his weapon, or even just his hands, almost as though expending nervous energy was a what kept him alive. Trying his level best not appear the nervous wreck that Tyli'it so obviously was Bookman held himself as naturally as he could, but that didn't mean that he wasn't feeling the same internally. It was simple refusal to appear as the only other out of control individual in the group, aka pride, that held him still. How do beings do this on a regular basis? Just look at them, not necessarily relaxed but... at ease. Bookman blinked, needing to do a double take. Is that one asleep? What an utterly alien species these mercenaries are. Shaking his head, he turned towards Otsisa and almost said something when the sirens went off... and he flinched.

Everyone else was on their feet, Otsisa was saying that this was where the fun began. Fun? What fun? Are they all mad? And then the movement started. He knew that he was to be with black and white group, but they all seemed so small for such a large undertaking. Could they really hold fifteen floors between them? It seemed somewhat unlikely, especially since they didn't know the back passages or traps that Arok had been setting up here for nigh on decades. But then, not even Arok knew of all the back ways. Bookman had done a pretty thorough study of the station, and had found some very interesting passages that weren't even on Arok's personal copy of the plans. That was how he was planning to cut off the giant slug.

They rounded a corner and then everything was chaos. Oh, they had encountered a few droids, he'd even fired at one with his explosive gun, and it had left a decidedly satisfying mess of circuits and parts laying on the ground, scattered and unusable. But this? Apparently this was something else. Droideka showed up and promptly killed one of the mercenaries. Huddling behind what little covered he could find, Bookman found himself shaking. He wasn't entirely sure if it was fear or adrenaline, maybe shock, but the end result was the same. In this entirely alien world of explosions, the one that killed the droideka left him nearly deaf and a nice, neat spherical hole in the walls, ceiling and floor where it had gone off, was something that Bookman vowed he would never again be part of.

Otsisa was talking about how they were going to be late, and how they had to hurry... and then took off away from the secret passage that they were right next to. Admittedly this was one of them that he hadn't mentioned to her, but he'd been under the impression that she was going to ask him if they were near any of them Sighing, Bookman ducked inside quickly followed by Tyli'it. Following the group would result in nothing but more explosions, and quite possibly death, no matter how far back he was. But here? Well, this was what he'd been looking for, and he knew exactly where to go to cut off Arok. And here, in the secrets, he finally started to cease shaking. Well, at least it slowed down.

A turn here, a left there, down and then up, along with a fair amount of jogging in between, and Bookman and Tyli'it found themselves at what looked like a completely blank wall. "Master Bookman... I don't mean to complain, but I don't see how we get out of here." Bookman completely ignored the increasingly irrelevant Twi'lek, as his time was coming to a very quick close. Where is it, he muttered to himself as he felt along the wall. It wasn't even a pressure plate, but a pressure sensor that he was trying to find. And if he moved off of it too quickly then there would be no reaction from the wall, which made for slightly slower going. Damned timing switches. Closing his eyes, he visualized what he had done in his memory, and then without opening them reached out and did the same thing. Five seconds later the wall retracted into the floor and they were out again. And Bookman could hear Arok's bellowing to a servant as he slithered this way. Perfect.

OOC: Sorry to see you go s_heffley, you do some awesome posts. Hopefully you can come back when you have more time on your hands.:)

IC: As they approached an intersection Otsisa looked back at her men. Two surviving Mando's, Bookman, and his companion. She had almost forgot about the human in all the excitement, it was clear he was rattled, and she thought of trying to comfort him by letting him know that it wasn't always like this. But decided against it, this was just part of the job, it may not be pretty, or common, but it was necessary. She returned her focus back to the front as they approached a large metal door. She took a slicer out of her pocket and made short work of it.

Five minutes passed as they rounded one corner after another, damn she should have studied those schematics more closely, or at least asked Bookman if he knew a quicker route. She looked back again, only to realize the noobs were gone. "Kark, where'd they go!" she shouted at the two commandos behind her. Both looked back, and simply shrugged. At that exact moment a large whining noise was heard as two turrets popped out of the ground and began to fire. All three of them leaped into cover instantly. Otsisa raised her twin pistols and fired a dozen shots every second. Few left anything more than a dent. "Blast, those things have some tough armor! There has to be a control panel around here somewhere, find it!" Right now she desperately wished those mercs would have saved their thermal detonator for when it was actually needed.

She took a deep breath and peaked out of cover. It was a narrow tunnel, in a roughly square shape. Rust had rotted much of the surrounding terrain, but the two turrets looked new. Which meant the control panel linking them together must have been too. "Look there!" One of the Mando's yelled, as he pointed to a small silver box on wall right next to them. It must have been the power conduit, linking them to the main security network. "Nice work." Otsisa mused as she raised one blaster and fried it. Instantly both guns were down, and the hall fell quiet again. "Arok is growing desperate, we must be getting close. Lets get this done now."

Otsisa took a moment to check in with the other squads, and was pleased to here there was only one other casualty besides the man she lost. These really were some of the best warriors in the galaxy. "What about that bookman?" One of her guys asked. She slid her com unite back in her pocket and shrugged. "He's on his own now, we can't protect him. If he's after Arok he'll have to do it alone, if he betrayed us he won't live long enough for it to matter."

They had come into the home stretch, and victory was in sight. The lab they were looking for was only two dozen meters in front of them if her calculations were right. But there was only one problem, a laser field blocking their way. Boy oh boy Arok sure must have spent a fortune rigging this place. The gaps in it were small, and the consul to deactivate it was on the other side. She was the only one who could fit, and she sure as hell was not looking forward to it. Holstering her blasters she sighed. "I have a bad feeling about this." Slowly she lowered herself to the ground, and began a steady crawl. One step at a time, on hand in front of the other, she could feel herself perspire like a Gamorrean. It was fifteen minutes before she was even half way through. Eventually though she slowly approached the other end, and just then she felt an striking pain in her lekku. "AHHHH!!" She shrieked at the top of her lungs as her breath was taken from her. She swiftly dropped flat on her belly. The pain was excruciating, a Twi'leks head tails were among the most sensitive part of their body, and clearly hers had touched a beam. Tears came to her eye's and she whimpered a little. It was tempting to simply pass into unconsciousness, but Otsisa remained strong. She would not give up. After another few minutes she swiftly pulled her body the last meter past the beams and limped to the consul, turning off the security grid so her troops could get through.

The moment they arrived one asked if she was alright, but she brushed them off. "Nows not the time." Her voice cracked. "We need to finish our objective." Otsisa desperately did not want to think of the wound in the back of her head, it likely wasn't pretty, but she shook it off. Entering the laboratory they realized it was nearly completely deserted, save for a single Siniteen in a lab coat. The man swiftly surrendered. "Who are you?" One of the Mando's demanded. Calmly the brainy alien answered "I am Vish Tunn, Aroks chief scientist and weapons designer." Otsisa quickly made the connection. Vague references were made in the data chip Bookman had compiled, but now things were clear. "You designed the Gravity Well generator the Pykes used?" The Siniteen nodded in affirmation. "And I would be willing to lend my services to the Black Sun... if you spare me." Typical underworld madman, only out for himself. "Shut down Station security first, then I will bring this up with my bosses." He quickly agreed, and went to work. And while he was distracted Otsisa made contact with the Vigo Council through the Home Team.
"What are you're orders, can we just fry this guy?"

Shadow Trooper looked at the newest reports on his desk. Two items in particular were of great interest to him.

The operations against the Besadii seemed to be going quite well. The mission from A Blind Prophet and ConservativeJedi321 seemed to be shaping up into a roaring success. There was also the infiltration of Ylesia to think of. Vigo Shadow Trooper had heard noting yet from Vigo Darth Rozic but this was to be expected. His team in the midst of a deep cover operation after all. The Besadii had been silent too, so he could assume that the torturer's superior skills were at work on this sensative task. Soon the Besadii would be at their mercy, their revolution crushed. They would be returned to their rightful place as servitors to the Empire of Black Sun.

While the resignation from Vigo s_heffley was surprising to the Corellian, he was not worried about the condition of Black Sun's slaving operations. The Vigo of Kashykk had left very capable underlings to ensure his operations ran smoothly. The loss of one of their oldest Vigos put the Corellian in a reflective mood. Vigo s_heffley had joined with them during the turbulent times of the Clone Wars and over his years of faithful and competent service, he had gained the respect and admiration of the Corellian. In retrospect, he should have anticipated this. s_heffley had been with them a long time and their work was not a kind one.
The Corellian was no longer a young man himself, and at times, particularly now, the prospect of retirement was an attractive one. No, He decided. The time to get out of the business had come and gone for him a long time ago. He wished his old comrade luck in all of his further endeavors and made sure the Former Vigo knew that there would always be a place for him with Black Sun.

<< Message from Prince Xizor to the Vigo Council >>

Vigo ConservativeJedi321, if possible, I would like your agents to spare Vish Tunn's life. Some of my Imperial associates are very eager to recruit him to their cause. Since Black Sun has recently been at odds with the Empire, I suggest giving my associates what they want. Let the Mandalorians extract Vish Tunn and escort him to the following location.

<< Message from Advisor Immodet to Vigo Shadow Trooper >>

Since we go way back, I would like to discuss a sensitive matter with you, Shadow Trooper. It involves the departure of Vigo s_heffley. Like you and I both know, there is no leaving our kind of business. If the Vigo of Slavery really intends on leaving, he has become a liability. However, on the other hand, I also grew very fond of s_heffley over the last couple of years. Also, the assassination of Vigo aalagartassle didn't do our organization much good. So, at the moment, I will respect s_heffley's wishes. Hopefully, this decision doesn't come to haunt me at some point in the future... After all, Black Sun resolves around loyality, not around friendship. Ben has promised to keep an eye on his former employer. Let us keep our fingers crossed that is enough.

OOC: The previous message is an in-character response. In a PM, I already thanked s_heffley for his involvement in the game. He trully has left a mark upon the game as it is played now. My fellow gamemaster and I wish him all the best with his future endeavours.

I agree with the proposed course of action. As you mentioned, a retiring Vigo does provide something of a security risk; however, the circumstances regarding the Vigo s_heffley's retirement are much different than those surrounding aalagartassle. While our former banker was captured and at risk of surrendering our secrets, s_heffley is in no such position. His identity as a former member of this council is also unknown except to the top levels of our organization. To continue to watch our former comrade is only prudent. I give my assent to any necessary corrective action if our operation is at any risk of being compromised. There are several ambitious young sentients with eyes on the vacancy left on the Council. I am sure any one of them would be more than willing to take care of business should the need arise.

Alright, I get the feeling Otsisa won't be happy having to drag this guy along but I'll pass her the message. Now that security is down and the facility is under our complete control it will be easy to extract him. Though they will of course keep a close on the Siniteen, they would be foolish to trust him. The operation was a resounding success, though none of our teams have reported locating Arok, strange, he must hide himself well, or force forbid he escaped. Plus that Bookman has gone missing. Hopefully he is after Arok, but honestly I have no idea. Otsisa's team will remain at the ship for now, while other teams finish off their rounds. But if Bookman doesn't report back soon they may be forced to abandon him.

If Bookman does show up again, then go ahead with our previously established plan. After all, Bookman makes the perfect scapegoat for Arok's death. When he found out the Mandalorians were coming after his master, he supposedly saw an opportunity to turn on Arok. Everybody knows how bad Arok treats his employees, so no one will bother asking further questions. So, it is essential neither Arok nor Bookman leaves the space station alive.

Otsisa has reported that she has ordered Red group and Blue Group to set explosives in the core of the station, her plan involves blowing the whole place up after they abandon it, and leaving both Arok and Bookman to burn on it.
Personally I thought that to be a bit extreme, overkill at its finest. Plus I don't know how blowing up one of their space stations over one of their planets will affect our relations with the other Besadii.
However I have yet to countermand the order because I want to check in with you first, and perhaps Vigo Shadow Trooper may also hold information of value in regard to how his Hutt friends may perceive this action.
We have some time before they go boom, but I had to be sure.

Vigo ConservativeJedi321, If you can verify the deaths of Arok and Bookman, than I would say go for it. Durga can't get mad about what he does not know. As far as he is concerned, this attack was the doing of the Mandalorians and the Desjillac clan. And even if he does figure out the truth later, by then he will be in no position to negotiate. The mission Vigo Darth Rozic is undertaking will put the Besadii under our thumb for the next decade! I have sent my subordinate Captain Maliss to monitor Durga and make sure the transition in leadership goes to our candidate as we require.
