PS: Probably this kid is Anakin Solo and not Ben? Though some people change the color of the hair as they get older (I had a ginger~light brown hair during my childhood and now my hair is dark brown)

Well, dang. I really did post images above but photobucket has been down for a very long time so the pictures aren't showing up.

 

Reasons why I love this to death

A: Ben is about toddler age, which makes sense after the stuff we learn from Life Debt. I don't see Chewie as being as much of a constant in the Organa-Solo life as others do. Very much there, very much loving, but he has his own life too.
B: Chewie looks intimidating as hell at first and this is expressed wonderfully
C: Of course Chewie would immediately make friends with Han's kid
D: Which makes what happened in TFA, and Chewies immediate reaction, sooooo much more heartbreaking.

 

I want to know if Chewbacca (who is an excellent shot in nucanon) intended to wound his "nephew".

 

Chewie could easily have killed Ben if he wanted to. But I don't think he could bring himself to do it, so he purposely aimed to just wound him, rather than take him out. I'm sure Chewie was very fond of Ben (as a child) and considered him family. He could never kill Han's son, even if at that moment he really wanted to.

 

Han and Leia remind me of cooler, sci-fi versions of my parents. I am loving the posted art here.

Younger and even better looking, and that's saying a lot. And Harrison Ford... ridiculous. Just flat out ridiculous how hot he is.

what was a deleted scene? Still annoyed they did not kiss.

 

That part wear Solo said "Scum!?" was cut from the 1983 release.
