OOC Out of Bounds (The ELL OOC Thread)

I apologize for my lack of activity the last few seasons. My weeks have been flying by raising a little one so by the time I think of putting up a post or being creative in that regard the moment has passed . I am still around but more of a lurker with ELL at this point. I always think I'll make the time and then I get busy lol. Best of luck to those left in the playoff hunt Go Skywalker!

I spent a lot of my day writing yesterday. I don't just write when I'm home and I've got time, I also do a little research. The best thing I read on Wookieepedia yesterday when I was researching Ithorians???
"An adult Ithorian could father several thousand offspring." I don't know about you but I thought Martin Vigo had a lot of kids.

 

I'll stick with the one I have.

Bardan_Jusik looks like life imitated art...in reverse this week in the college game.

And, for the first time in a decade of limmie, jcgoble3 wins a game against the Miners. About time!

 

Yeah I knew from the way the college season simmed out that GVSU was going to beat the StarBucks this season, but given the timing of things and that classic game we just saw IRL I had to reference it somehow, even if I reversed it.

 

Has it really been that long for me?

 

Yep--the last time the Buccaneers won against the Miners was the 275 regular season (the Miners then won their playoff meeting in the Solo Conference championship game that year en route to the Cup). The last time the Euceron Storm beat the Miners was 274.

In keeping with the season:

 

I do plan on posting more this week. Had a rough day with my 3 year old who refuses to nap. In case I don't get my full post together until late in the week I put up the most important part tonight.

I'll be honest--I've felt like I've lost some of my direction this season, but the Hapes and the Ralltiir games are causing me to raise my game.

 

In case you haven't noticed, draftees for 286 are now being accepted.

 

And I have a feeling that themes are starting to appear on the draftee list . . .

 

#1 vs. #2 as a play-in game? Controversy indeed!

 

The pratfalls of having the Bowl match ups locked in by conference. Look for the ensuing controversy (either way it goes there has to be controversy) to be a focus of the Rancor Pitt as it plays out.

 

I'm sure Ken is going to point out all the ways that the HSN analysts got their projections wrong, but I think this year might be less complicated than others!

 

We have a great conference record but this goes to show you that the rest of the games matter. Least we got a win today.

 

2 NPC teams down, 3 more to go for the playoff hunt. Time for PC teams to step up and finish the job this next week.

Now Bardan_Jusik is just stirring up trouble for the sake of stirring up trouble. And that's awesome.

 

It was kind of unavoidable when I drafted Kryze. When I did that I planned this for the Coalition Memorial game, just good luck that it falls on Truce Day as well.

 

...isn't that the point of this game at this point?

 

As I put Ralltiir's draft picks in, I realized two things:

1. Ralltiir has the inside track on first overall draft pick right now, though it's not guaranteed.
2. This is important because I think I just found the player that Jimsey Vigo wants his dad to draft.

Am I onto something Runjedirun ?
