Oops! In the midst of all of my computer issues (Final week is when I normally would do them), I totally forgot about that.

Yeah, I'll pull them together within the next few hours (or maybe right now).

I can say that about one of the draftees I submitted.

 

You forget, I've had two attorneys as player characters.

Well, now that the reveal is already up, my next Limmie Post will be longer than expected. LOL

And hm...thank you for the award winners jcgoble3. Have to now decide whether that changes what I want to do Draft-wise or not. First pick is always important after all!

And like some families, all the siblings beat up on each other once a week.

 

Think of it as an opportunity to advertise for the Fics through character use in the game.

 

Before I can get my own pick in for the Officers, I need to finish updating my character sheet and get it approved. I also have to work all day tomorrow, so it may be early Saturday morning before I can get my pick in.

 

This might be a long offseason...

Actually a friendly game is a preseason game, but the teams who play aren't necessarily in the same league. It's an opportunity to play a team that you wouldn't otherwise see during the regular season. Back when not every ELL team played each other each season, some traditional rivalries were played each year through friendly games.

 

Update: I didn't work all day today because I quit my job an hour and a half into the day. Details HERE for anyone interested. So temporarily, I have a lot of extra free time, as I'll be taking a week or so off before starting a new job search. Hopefully that means I can engage with this game a bit more than usual.

I have a LOT to talk about in my post, and I suspect it will end up taking me several hours to write it, more than I can sustain in a single session. So most likely I will make a very brief post tonight with just the draft pick and no other context, and then back up and tell the rest of the story early next week. That way we can keep the draft moving.

 

Hoping the details surrounding your quitting weren't too ugly. (No time to read the specifics yet)

I was once asked to do something possibly illegal, and very much life threatening, at an old job by a supervisor. Yeah....That didn't work out well for the supervisor then either.

 

And now we have a whole slew of college teams that we can pit our ELL or LFL teams against in friendlies....
