You mean he's smart, strong, skilled, courageous, wise, a paragon of all virtues, and good-looking to boot? I agree.

 

I think it's more along the lines that most of the Profile pics he uses are action oriented, with a blue tint. Which is mostly associated with the Guardian Class.

Please analyze one such sacrifice, describing the background of it, the Jedi who made it, the logic behind it, as well as the aftermath of it. - Knight task -

The sacrifice I will analyze is Yoda's sacrifice of Count Dooku's death on Geonosis.

Anakin and Obi-Wan dueled Count Dooku, and he severely injured and incapacitated them. When Yoda arrived, Dooku attacked him with force powers and his lightsaber. None of that was able to best Yoda, however. Knowing Yoda as a student knows a master, Dooku used the force to cause a great pillar to fall onto the defenseless jedi and ran to his prepped ship.

Yoda could have either pursued Dooku, almost certainly killing him and letting the jedi die, or, almost certainly letting Dooku escape and saving the jedi, concentrate on holding up the immense pillar. It is important to note that Dooku is the lynchpin of the Separatists. Without him, they will fight, but their words will have less sway. They will be more easily shattered, though it is hard to know exactly how events after that point would have worked out.

Yoda chose to save Kenobi and Skywalker. He did this first because it is the jedi way. Jedi always save the defenseless. Secondly, he did this because, "Always in motion the future is." He couldn't know that killing Count Dooku would have a better effect on the galaxy than saving the Chosen One.

The ramifications of this is enormous. Imagine the story of the Clone Wars with no Dooku, Obi-Wan Kenobi, or Anakin Skywalker. Would Order 66 have been carried out? Perhaps Sidious would have altered his machinations. If Sidious had come to power, Luke and Leia would not exist to fight him, nor would Obi-Wan to train someone, nor would Anakin do his bidding as Vader. Like I mentioned earlier, though, "Always in motion the future is." The force might have led someone else to do these things.
