Mental Strengths and Weaknesses: Photographic memory. Tends to get stressed easily.

    Personal History:

Immediate Family: A few relatives on Roon that she loosely stays in touch with.

Spouse/Children: Her ex husband serves in the 282 Tie Fighter Squadron. She hasn't seen him in years.

    Biography:

Louise Gray had a love for flying from an early age. She and her father would attend airshows throughout the galaxy as the latest military hardware toured the galaxy to entertain the masses.

As soon as she was of age she enrolled at the Imperial Flight Academy on Carida and was assigned to a TIE squadron during training. Lou was dismayed when she was cut from the Academy during basic flight training. She was told she wasn't good enough. She blamed her flight instructor for failing to look past her gender.

Her flight instructor, however, also happened to be her ex husband.

The two had met on leave, fell in love, and never looked back. Their relationship grew frayed as the years wore on, between on duty rotations and other stresses of military life, and ultimately broke when her husband flunked her out of flight school. Louise moved back to Roon but that wasn't enough to quench her thirst for revenge. She enlisted, clandestinely, in a Rebellion flight training program and graduated at the top of her class, not in fighters, but in bombers.

Louise loved the Y-Wing. It was the ugly cousin to the X-Wing but the lumbering craft could deliver a payload like no other out there. She fought well, and survived, the Battle of Scarif and an untimely flu virus kept her out of the attack on the first Death Star, unknowingly saving her life when most of Gold Squadron died in the trench run.

Now she finds herself without a squadron, without a home, but with a burning desire to do the unspeakable.

Find her ex husband and kill him.

Character's Name: Remick Burke AKA: Remmy
    Callsign: Turncoat
    Species: Human
    Gender: Male
Rank/Affiliation: Former Imperial Lieutenant; Now a Corporal in the Army of the Alliance
    Languages: Galactic Basic, Binary, Twi’leki
Residence: Wherever assigned by high command
    Home Planet: Corellia
    Age: 28
Approved Special Features: Adeptness to the Force, yet it remains undiscovered and untrained

    Character Traits:
Personality: Rather quiet, yet kind hearted. Loves to study and read history, especially as it pertains to the old republic and the Jedi. Feels an uncanny bond to the wilderness and nature and often chooses the sanctuary of the forests and hills over the company of his compatriots. Does not fit the typical Imperial Officer mold, while he has a high sense of duty and honor he never truly believed in the Galactic Empires cause nor their propaganda. His free thought endured through the years of hard Imperial training as well as his curiosity in the ancient order of the Jedi whom were deemed his enemy.
Habits/Mannerisms: Often cracks his knuckles, often absentmindedly shakes his knee when he is sitting, not because he is nervous or anxious, most times he just can't help it.
Likes/Dislikes: Enjoys solitude and the freedom of the wilderness as well as history. Dislikes arrogance and those who belittle others.
    Racial Traits: None

    Strengths and Weaknesses:
Physical Strengths and Weaknesses: Superb hand eye coordination and reflexes which helps with piloting though not too skilled in hand to hand combat against opponents who are far stronger than he is.
Mental Strengths and Weaknesses: Extremely self-reliant and has a very heightened survivalist mindset, yet often this makes it hard for him to form personal attachments in the way of friends or romance.
Emotional Strengths and Weaknesses: Has an inner strength that has helped him through his life to push past the breaking points of the average person and endure in extreme and dire climates and situations. Due to being an orphan as well as his past as an Imperial he is normally afraid of personal attachments.
Appearance: Remick stands at 6’0 tall with a lean sinewy build. His auburn hair is still close cropped though once he left the Empire he allowed his beard to grow out though he still keeps it well trimmed. While still young, his angular face shows years of experience. He has a larger roman shaped nose which is slightly crooked from being broken in the past.

    Eye Color: Green
    Hair/Fur: Auburn
    Skin Color: White
Clothing: Wears a canvas jacket over a grey long sleeve henley shirt with olive green tactical pants and knee high combat boots covered with durasteel armor; as well as a grey beanie. During combat missions he wears a tan combat vest over his shirt and jacket that hold his blaster pistol, extra ammo, a combat knife and other supplies that will help if he is shot down or find himself in ground combat.

    Personal History:
    Immediate Family: None
    Spouse/Children: None
    Biography:
Born in 25 BBY on Corellia during the age of the Old Republic, Remick’s parents soon gave him up to an orphanage shortly after his birth, leaving him devoid of any paternal guidance or love. He spent most of his young life within the confines of the run-down orphanage, watching as the fires of the Clone Wars spread throughout the galaxy. At the age of 14, the Empire began emptying the orphanages on planets under their rule in order to alleviate the cost which the welfare of these orphans placed upon the empire. Children who meet Imperial physical and mental standards were selected to be enrolled in the Imperial Academy. At the time Remick jumped at the opportunity this provided him in escaping the orphanage and seeing the galaxy; however, it was a dream short lived. Soon Remick found himself selected to attend the brutal Imperial Flight Academy. Despite not being from a prestigious family like most candidates and lacking the pre-established education, Remick worked hard to surpass his peers, and the instructors soon took notice. As the years passed at the academy, Remick’s piloting abilities and scores increased tremendously, and upon graduation at the age of 18 he found himself in the top 10% of his class, near the bottom of that percentage, but in the top 10 nonetheless.
Remick was soon assigned to a reconnaissance wing as a fresh Ensign where he exemplified himself to the service of the Empire by running long range scouting missions and distinguished himself in numerous dogfights with pirates and the newly established Rebel Alliance. With his distinguished record he was soon promoted to lieutenant and transferred to a elite squadron whose sole mission was delegate protection of high ranking officials within the Empire during their long space travels. He fell under the tutelage of a seasoned Imperial officer by the name Captain Merric, who soon became his mentor. Throughout the years with the Delegate Escort Squadron, Remick found a passion for the study of history during his down time, and while on any planet for R&R he would visit the local historical sites or buy books from local vendors, both in the main trade markets as well as the black market, which is how he was ultimately introduced to the way of the Jedi. During one of his shore leaves he visited a local blackmarket vendor who he frequented for historical transcripts that were outlawed by the Empire; during this trip he unknowingly purchased a couple old Jedi holocrons and holopads. While forbidden to even those in the Imperial Officer ranks, Remick was always one to push the envelope. It wasn’t long before he found solace and comfort in these old simple teachings and found himself questioning what he was truly doing with the empire. Soon his shore leaves took place on isolated and tranquil worlds filled with flora and fauna of every kind and less as bustling trade worlds such as Coruscant where most of his compatriots chose to recreate. On these worlds he would enjoy the peace and tranquility of these worlds in which these old Jedi scripts spoke of and he would often test himself against the elements, taking off for days at a time into the wilderness in order to push himself to survive on everything around him.
Despite knowing next to nothing of this thing referred to as the Force, Remick at least found comfort in the peaceful teachings of the ancient order. That was until Captain Merric found the ancient transcripts in his locker during an inspection. If it had not been for their relationship, Merric might have put Remick in a trash compactor and flushed him into space, but luckily all that got flushed were the Jedi teachings since Merric did not want to see the young lieutenant punished. Merric told Remick to forget about all he had read if he knew what was good for him. In the days that followed Remick tried to forget but could not bring himself to abandoning the powerful yet vague lessons within the Jedi history manuscripts. Remick and Merric were soon called upon to escort an Imperial Admiral through the Outer Rim so she could make inspections of outlying command posts. The mission went smoothly until they came across a Rebel Alliance scouting party which were easily chased away but not before they contact a small Rebel fighter group who promptly showed up and made the two Imperial pilots jobs much harder. During the ensuing dogfight Remick was shot down by Rebel X-Wing, forcing him to make a crash landing on the nearby planet of Galidraan. He was able to survive off of the forested land for 4 days before he was captured by a Rebel patrol who had come to retrieve data from the crashed TIE Interceptor.

Remick spent weeks as a Prisoner of War with the rebels, enduring interrogation after interrogation. Though throughout his imprisonment he was treated with some respect due to his status as an officer. This caused him to see the Alliance as individuals with honor, since he doubted they would receive this treatment from imperials if their situations were reversed. In the months that followed, Remick’s desire to defect to the Alliance grew. Soon he was sharing Imperial fighter tactics and flight routes with the Rebels and in return he learned more about the freedom for all that was offered to the Alliance that wished to reform the ways of the Old Republic he so often studied. Upon the defeat of the Imperials at Yavin 4 and destruction of the Death Star, Remick soon gave himself fully to the Alliance. Though not fully trusted by his new compatriots, he was assigned the simple duty of hangar maintenance where he mopped the grease from the hangar floor and kept things in order, a far fall from grace for the once distinguished fighter pilot. Day in and day out the Rebel pilots would sneer at him and talk behind his back about the Imperial turncoat, which soon became a term of endearment for Remick, turncoat is what he was and what he would remain to those who had been with the Alliance sine its beginning. However, the day came when he would go from turncoat to fighter pilot once more. During his daily duties an emergency transmission came in that the already weakened reconnaissance wing of the Rebel base had come into contact wit the enemy and was taking heavy losses. Most of the experienced pilots gave into despair and counted the small recon group as all but lost since they would all be dead by the time they got there; better to save the fighters and pilots for a winnable battle. However, this was a certainty Remick could simply not accept. He rushed to one of the old ARC-170 fighters still used by the Alliances Reconnaissance Wings and before anyone could stop him he was out the hangar and into orbit. He soon made contact with the sole surviving Rebel fighter and protected it until the pilot could fix their systems and get back to base. Remick was able to shoot down the 3 TIE fighters and safely escort the fighter back to base. Upon landing the Rebel pilot, who was the leader of the reconnaissance wing thanked him and formally made a request to command that Remick be accepted into her rag tag unit. The decision was not made lightly but command approved and soon Remick was once again flying and fighting. The recon Captain named Captain Alda Grimm took him under her wing and taught him everything she knew. Before long Remick was flying long range reconnaissance in his old ARC-170 for the Alliance. He proved himself a great asset to the Rebels and was soon offered a transfer to a unit that had recently sustained heavy losses. The Black Sheep.

Brief Biography: A pilot for the Aleraanian Militia during the Clone Wars, Husker was a skilled and able pilot, and found himself assigned to Z-95's for the duration of his combat tours. Following the war his unit was absorbed by the Empire, an action which bothered the officer though his devotion to his duty and the men and women under his command saw him do nothing to protest. Husker was identified early on by Imperial psychological testing as "politically unreliable" though he nevertheless rose through the ranks due to his skill as a pilot and leader. However, the ISB and Imperial Navy saw to it that he was assigned to actions mostly rooting out pirates and smugglers rather than direct action against the nascent Rebel Alliance, thus he was never exposed to what the Empire had truly become, at least not until the destruction of his home world of Alderaan by the Death Star.

With the loss of his ex-wife and family, Husk took his command (the Quasar-Fire class carrier Intrepid) and defected to the Rebel Alliance. Since that time the Intrepid has been engaged in multiple actions against the Empire, earning a reputation as a fine ship beset by bad luck. The entire wing of TIE fighters that had been brought along with the carrier has long since been destroyed as have several other replacement squadrons. Still after many near misses and close calls Husk and the Intrepid soldier on against the might of the evil Empire.

Brief Biography: Born the illegitimate son of Adama Husk, Lee was nevertheless looked after by his father who sent what money he could to his single mother. Husk also saw to it that Lee had access to higher education and even used what little influence he had to ensure he was accepted into an Imperial Flight Academy. There Lee showed aptitude not only for flying, but flying combat where his situational awareness and ability saw his graduate second in his class. Upon graduation Lee was assigned to the Intrepid (again at the request of his father) where he flew TIE fighters, and then Interceptors for the Empire. Following Alderaan's destruction Lee defected along with the majority of the Intrepid's crew and fighter contingent, though the Intrepid's TIE fighters didn't last long in rebel service. Soon thereafter he qualified with both X-Wings and A-Wing starfighters. High attrition among the former Imperial pilots of the Intrepid sees him now as the only survivor of the former Intrepid air wing. He is now assigned as the commanding officer of Viper Squadron whose A-Wings are tasked with protection of the Intrepid.

Brief Biography: Born into slavery on Tatooine, Argo developed a technical expertise to serve his master and ensure more food on the table for himself. Even then he would give away anything he didn't need, and oft times more than he could spare, to other slaves in need. As he grew older he became an able boxer as well, using his skills to defend others from unjust treatment at the hands of others and to win extra credits. After several prize fights he won enough to buy back his own freedom, though rather than follow through on that his own sense of justice (as well as manipulation by his master) saw him spend the money to buy the freedom of several others instead. Inspired by his generosity (and desiring to escape Tatooine himself) an R3 unit owned by Argo's master disabled Argo's explosive implant and set him free. From there they escaped Tatooine.

The pair joined the Rebellion as Argo saw that theirs was a just cause to take down an unjust Imperial system. Skilled both technically and as a pilot he found himself assigned to a Y-Wing squadron which allowed for him to tinker with the old craft as much as he flew it. That squadron was decimated in combat following the battle of Hoth and he was reassigned to the Intrepid's Star Raider's squadron as it's new commanding officer, bringing with him several surviving Y-Wings and their pilots from various other squadrons.

Brief Biography: He was a Jawa, but now he is...something else. He was a better mechanic/technician than most, and got a job working for Jabba the Hutt, did or said something (he doesn't even know what) that displeased the almighty Hutt, and was given to the B'omarr monks. They did what they do, pulled out his brain and put it in a jar. He didn't care much for this "enlightened" existence, and some of his memories (including his real name) were lost in the process, but he played along with them until he managed to get a spider droid. He used that to escape the palace, but he had no way of getting off the planet and away from that slimy greaseball before Jabba sent a penny-ante bounty hunter for him. So he did what Jawas do, captured an R3-D series droid and then transferred his brain into that. With his new disguise he was able to escape the bounty hunter, but still had no way off world. As he searched for a way to make a final escape he worked as a freelance mechanic, before coming upon Kai Argos. The slave's empathy for his fellow slaves inspired TJ somewhat, and seeing that he was an able pilot helped matters too. using his technical knowledge he disabled Argo's slave implant and the two of them escaped Tatooine together only to join the Rebel Alliance. TJ now keeps his brain under the transparent R3 dome so that he can open up the shades and enjoy the sunshine, but he has realized that this tends to freak out most organics, and some droids, so he usually keeps the shutters closed.

Weapons: Extendable shock probe, buzzsaw and ion stunner.

Brief Biography: A victim of the Mandalorian diaspora following the takeover of Mandalore by the pacifist New Mandalorians, Kara's immediate family relocated to Ord Sabaok while most of the remainder of her clan remained back on Mandalore during the political upheaval there. Using Ord Sabaok as a base of operations her family became mercenaries and trained Kara in the warrior traditions of her people. When Bo-Katan united the clans of Mandalore against the Empire shortly before the Battle of Scariff, Kara joined the Rebel Alliance, feeling she was doing her duty to her clan by fighting with those who opposed the Empire. An able warrior, she excelled though at space superiority combat and was assigned combat missions first in her personal Fang type fighter and eventually being assigned an X-Wing after that craft's destruction in combat.

For the past year she has been the commanding officer of the Intrepid's Intruder Squadron, a Rebel squadron with a reputation for taking on tough assignments and coming through in the clutch despite high losses. She is involved in an on again off again relationship with Viper Squadron's commanding officer Commander Jaime Lee.

Brief Biography: Born to a middle class family on Alderaan, Kelly had always shown a fondess for, and an aptitude with, machinery of many kinds. She won her sixth grade science fair by designing and building her own personal assistant droid which she programmed to help her father around the house with household chores. Determined to make a career in the tech industry she attended Druckenwell Technical University where she was working towards a degree in advanced droid design. Her grades were good and she had an active social life on campus. Politics were the furthest thing from her mind in 0 ABY/BBY when, while on a holocall with her mother Alderaan was destroyed by the Death Star. Stricken by grief, and haunted by the final images of her mother's terror, she quit school and joined the Rebellion where her technical skills have been put to use for the last several years maintaining various Alliance starfighter types. A survivor of the Battle of Hoth, her latest assignment to the carrier Intrepid coincided with the formation of the Black Sheep squadron.

Brief Biography: Born into a lower class family Tyr grew up just one step (but an important step according to his father) away from slavery on Tatooine. A tinkerer, Tyr began work at an early age in the various junk shops around Mos Eisley before moving into the employ of Jabba the Hutt where he helped to maintain the Hutt crime lord's smuggling fleet. he claims to have helped out on famous ships like the Outrider and the Millennium Falcon, and even had a go at Slave I. However his personality clashed with the independent smugglers and bounty hunters who called their own vessel's home and he eventually moved on to more legal work on the ore freighter Galactica. When the freighter was captured by a Rebel cell in 4 BBY he jumped at the chance they offered him to continue work by repairing their fighters. Despite his personality flaws he has moved up within the Alliance due to his technical skill and expertise. He has held the rate of deck chief, outboard hanger, port flight pod, carrier Intrepid for the last year now, and the Black Sheep are just the latest squadron to rotate through his area.

    Home Planet: Carratos
    Age: 31
    Approved Special Features: None

Character Traits: Protective of her tools, and 'projects', always seems to be fiddling with something.

Personality: A little brash when you first met her but, warms up quickly. Good at her job and is proud of it.

Habits/Mannerisms: Works longer than most other techs, generally stands with her arms crossed when not working. Listens to Glimmik music on headphones

Likes/Dislikes: Likes working on things, listening to Glimmik music/Dislikes people breaking things she worked on, people blowing off her recommendations

    Strengths and Weaknesses:

Physical Strengths and Weaknesses: Physically strong able to move parts and other equipment about the hangar with relative ease. A bit of hearing loss from loud music and working in a loud shop.

Mental Strengths and Weaknesses: Is very focused on her work, can get things done faster than most others. However if it is a complicated problem that takes a while to fix. She will take that time, often skipping meals and rest if needed.

Emotional Strengths and Weaknesses:Takes great pride in her work, she considers herself the best mechanic on the Intrepid, maybe even the best on in the Alliance. Her confidence is not misplaced but, if you question her, she has a tendency to not take it well.

Looks: Tall and broad shouldered, rivaling a marine in physique with a somewhat defined musculature.

Appearance: Her pink and purple hair and scar over her right eye draw your attention first, and a second glance reveals a more average face, if a little intimidating.

    Eye Color: Yellow
    Hair/Fur: Pink and Purple
Skin Color: Blue with gold accents
Clothing: Standard rebellion work overalls, the top of which is usually tied around her waist.

Brief Biography: Meili grew up as a child of immigrants. They'd come to Carratos in search of a better life. Meili was nearly a teenager when the Empire came to power and placed her home under strict controls. No one was allowed to leave, no one was allowed to enter, except with the permission of the governor. While she bristled at these rules, there was nothing anyone could do so she just went about her life. When she was eighteen she took a job at a mechanic's shop in the poorer part of town. She got to see the worst the Empire could do. Turning out those that couldn't pay rent, stopping anyone they felt like, taking them away to never be seen again. It was horrible but, she was just a mechanic, what could she do.

This continued until her shop was shut down, some trumped up charge of 'Import Violations'. It was a lie, all the parts they used had to come from Carratos, there was nowhere else. Suddenly without a job and a burning need to get some revenge on the Empire, Meili heard of a smuggler willing to get anyone who could pay off planet. She had a bit of money saved up, meant to buy her own shop or a new set of tools. She met the pilot at the 'Stacked Deck', a shifty looking Balosar that went by the name Polenta. He agreed to take her onboard and the rest was history. She bounced around a little with him, keeping his busted TL-1800 in good enough repair until she joined the Rebel Alliance.

Now stationed on the Intrepid, she finds herself plane captain to 'Serica' the Y-WIng of one Ianna Mcear, a woman a decade younger than herself, and going out to fight the Empire head on.

    Character's Name: Emilia "Sparky" Sparkiniss
    Species: Human
    Gender: Female
    Rank/Affiliation: Petty Officer
Languages: Basic, Droidspeak, a bit of Bothan (lived along the Bothan Run), a bit of Corellian (2 years of school there)
Residence: wherever the Rebellion sends her
    Home Planet: Boranda
    Age: 26

Character traits: Like most fighter crew, she is possessive of 'her' ship, and can be hard on the pilot who lands it in bad condition. Very strict with the others assigned to her crew, she is a perfectionist.

Personality: Casual, down to earth, somewhat sarcastic sense of humor

Likes/Dislikes: Dancing, boxing, swimming & other watersports, designing and 'improving' ships, puzzles, & mysteries. Dislikes: snobs

    Strengths and Weaknesses:

Physical Strengths and Weaknesses: Slightly higher than average strength for a human female her age, due to frequent work outs & hauling heavy equipment around, but nothing extraordinary

Mental Strengths and Weaknesses: She is trained as an engineer, good spatial visualization and good at solving problems and spotting things that are out of place.

Emotional Strengths and Weaknesses: She tends to hold grudges.

Looks: Attractive, although she keeps her fingernails short
    Appearance: Athletic, curvy
    Eye Color: Dark brown
Hair/Fur: Black (most of the time).
    Skin Color: Brown
Clothing: Usually coveralls, but she does like bright colors and has an array of stylish boots. She generally keeps her hair short.

Brief Biography: Emilia grew up on Boranda, a small world in the MidRim along the Bothan Run, with a small but annoying Imperial presence. Her parents ran a service station in Caluma City Spaceport. Emilia, the youngest of three sisters, grew up helping her father service, repair and customize all types of starships and airspeeders, while her mother handled the administrative end of the business, kept the books, and maintained the family droids.

She dreamed of one day being a starship designer herself, and enrolled in the Corellian Polytechnical Institute, hoping that she'd be able to make some Inner Rim connections and land a job when she finished. In her second year, however, the Corellian shipyards were transferred to Imperial Control, and it was announced that all eligible (human) engineering students would be conscripted for Imperial Service upon graduation.

Emilia wasn't keen on the idea of joining the Imperial Engineering Corps, and so, with the blessing of her parents, she 'disappeared,' along with many of her classmates. To protect themselves, her parents reported her as missing (although they have a pretty good idea where she might have gone). Emilia and many of her friends found their way to the Rebellion, where her repair skills and knowledge were welcome.

She hasn't given up her dream of one day designing starships, and spends a lot of her free time working up blueprints. While she is capable of piloting and is certified for hyperspace travel, she doesn't have the coordination or aptitude to be a starfighter pilot, which suits her fine. She's happy to tinker.

Her eldest sister is married, expecting her first child; her second sister is a daycare worker who helps out at the family shop in her free time. Neither of them have any idea where she is or what she is doing.

    Biography:
Thorn was born in a relatively small clan on Togoria. He was always drawn to space travel. He managed to get a place on-board a freighter and that was when his journey began. Once during a job in the Outer Rim they were attacked by a gang of slavers knowing that he was on-board and wanting to catch this rare species to be sold. After a bloody and fierce battle Thorn was bested and captured. While in the slave pit he was saved by a young Jedi Knight Adrias Stark. He swore a life-debt to him and thus their friendship started. They went around the Galaxy freeing slaves and helping the ones in need.

During the Clone Wars they worked behind enemy lines fighting the Separatists. He was disappointed to see some Mandalorians working for the CIS. The Togorians were close to Mandalore and respected them. He was shocked to find out that his clan Sheerah had joined the enemy. This made him turn against his people. At the end of the war Adrias was shot by his Clone Troopers who were carrying out Order 66. Thorn managed to flee and tried to continue the work and eventually that lead to him being hunted by the Empire. This attracted the attention of the still early born Rebellion. It did not take much convincing for him to join them. He volunteered as a petty officer and occasional commando. After the battle of Hoth he was assigned to Interpid and more specifically to be the plane captain of a pilot Jocelyn Sunwalker. That offended him as he learned that the girl was a former Imperial, which will complicate things.

His multi-colored hair is kept cropped short except for tufts on the top of his head, and his three tone chops. Moderate to mild fat buildup hides the hardened muscles needed in his line of work, since emancipation he tends to wear the finer things in life. Although not outshining his associates his clothing is kept always a step above his crews.
    Job: Plane Captain
Prior Profession/Speciality: Smuggler and Privateer (see pirate)
Ship: was The Majordomo now none
Brief Biography: Born and raised on Nar Shaddaa by parents that fell from great heights in gambling, most would call this a rough beginning in life. When you know nothing else, as he was born after the fall from grace, you don’t know what’s a good or worse beginning. A beginning is a beginning, and everyone a story of woe’s and joys sprinkled over a lifetime whether it lasts for ten years or ten millennia.

Well, we all are bitter or sweet from our dispositions, some say we’re born that way. Others that we are brought to it from hand to mouth and eye to hand. Either way being born to those with a debt looming overhead makes for a rough childhood. Especially in a region where slavery is accepted, and anything and everything is for sale. He was sold at the age of eight into the service of one ‘Majordomo’ of a local Hutt to clear a chunk of his parent’s debt.

As master’s go his wasn’t that bad of one, although when the local Hutt relocated to an outpost further out on the edges of Hutt space, he had to go with the entourage. It wasn’t until many years later during a run that he found out his parents had died in the same hole they had sold him out of.

Being on the Majordomo’s list of servants he did all he could for the man, which in his case meant taking care of his masters ship. At first cleaning and checking for tampering, after a few bomb disposals he was initiated into the teachings of engineering and even was allowed to learn the basics of ship flight as a means to see how it affected the rest of the craft. Eventually his master made a misstep and was replaced violently by a rival in a death match for the Hutt’s own amusement. Being nineteen he was taken as the new Majordomo’s possessions, and given the task of co-pilot and ship mechanic.

It was five years before he got his break and was able to win his freedom, and even a ship from his ex-master’s faux pirate fleet in the bargain during a very lucky gambling night at a Spice den with his master. After winning the ship he had left the table with his own papers, having only used them to up the ante for another three games to have his own means. Of course he left his less then kind master a parting gift which saw the Majordomo dead from an overdose a week later when the killer reached that part of his stash. With his own paper’s within his hands, and the knowledge that all involved were dead after the legitimacy of issues was verified he went on to his new ship and soon new crew to begin the life he had only observed in his betters.

Smuggling. When that didn’t cover the bills, well, another’s misfortune was usually somebody else’s gain. Why not his?

One day it happened that his ship the The Majordomo stumbled upon a tiny spaceship that looked pretty nice. Nice things usually meant money. The boarding action went well, only two men were onboard, along with some amount of gold. They killed the men and ‘liberated’ the gold, and planned on destroying the ship. After all, money is easily traded, ships are traceable. But the captain found a little boy in one of the backrooms. Feeling a kinship to the possible beginnings of the boy on a ship with two men, he took it upon himself to raise the boy aboard his ship. That little boy was Bren Swift.

The years rolled by and he raised the kid as best as he knew how. With lessons you would never find in some snobs classroom he prepared the kid for a tough life in a tougher galaxy. Mechanics, piloting, basics of the knife and blade, and how to be a straight shooter, all worthy tasks of the trade that had served him well. With mechanics came mathematics as the kid had to learn how to read and interpret the calculations and numerical readouts on the ship. With piloting came the lessons in reading and understanding of diverse languages, as when in Hutt space Huttesse was the language of everything worth knowing with few exceptions.

He even let the kid have his own droids to tinker and work with. After all the kid needed a way to feel like he was earning his keep aboard ship. After an intervening decade of such living, plus a couple years for good measure the kid was truly no longer a mercy case but an asset that he didn’t have to worry about stabbing him in the back. Something worth it’s weight in fire-gems in his lines of work.

Eventually they landed another job, another run of spice and semi-legal goods as cover to get to their gig and back out again. At least that was the plan. It all went south and he ended up loosing the kid, his ship, and he escaped with nothing to be rescued from a prison planet by a Rebel raid. They were rescuing someone else, but he took his fortunes as always where he could find them. Not wanting to be on the front smuggling lines were he might be recognized he is once more learning a new trade and working his way up as mechanic and Plane Captain.

    Callsign: (none as of yet)
    Species: Wolatarian
    Gender: Agender
    Age: Forty-three (43) Standard Years
Rank/Affiliation: Chief Warrant Officer / Rebel Alliance
Languages: Wull (native), Basic, some Huttese and Sullustese
    Residence: None
    Home Planet:

Planet Lyby, O’ran System, A’care Cluster, Wild Space

    Character Traits
Personality: Sage is often viewed as standoffish and perpetually ill-natured. While deeply jaded, they do tend to form strong interpersonal bonds with those who get to know them; despite their rough, criminal background, they are a consummate polymath and very adept at learning new skills.
Habits/Mannerisms: Talks out loud to themselves in their native tongue often; Slurs his Basic with mixed tense and participles; almost always drinking caf or some other beverage; swears in multiple languages almost constantly.
Likes/Dislikes: Caf, loud music, reading & learning, technology; negligence, xenophobia, law enforcement

Racial Traits: Wolatarians are a caterpillar-like sentient species from a star cluster somewhere along the edge of Wild Space. They are known for their aggressive business and diplomatic practices, militancy, strong sense of individualism, and dynamic family and communal arraignments. They have little dealings with the rest of the galaxy, with the exception of some trade routes into the outer rim, and the few Wolatarians found living in the wider galaxy have typically left their homeworlds due to legal troubles.

Physically, Wolatarians are built similarly to Hutts, although about a third of the size. They have eight small legs under they body mass which can propel them forwards at up to around seven kilometers an hour in a sprint, though they tend to move much slower. They have four arms extending from the upper half of their body; each with a hand of three fingers. The lower arms are also used for mobility and tend to be larger than the upper arms, which are used primarily for manipulating objects. Their upper torso can rotate back on itself about 130 degrees, giving them greater range of reach than their relatively short arms would otherwise.

The four eyes in the centre of their furless, heart shaped face, give them a roughly ninety-five degree binocular field of view, slightly less than an average humans. Their naturally sharp vision extends outside the visible spectrum for humans into deep into the infrared. Their mouths have rows of small black teeth, with two insect like mandible on either side. Their central nervous system (CNS) is distributed along their spine, though a cluster of nerves and cells near the head perform the most critical functions.

With the exception of the face, a dense, bristled fur covers this body in shades ranging from reddish brown to black. Despite their awkward appearance, they are fairly fast and relatively strong when compared to humans. Upright, they typically stand 1.2 - 1.8 meters, with an overall body length of 2.2 - 2.8 meters.

They are extremely resilient to extreme trauma, including mutilation, bisection, exposure to harsh vacuum and extreme temperatures that would kill most other beings. Their body reactively goes into an extreme preservation stasis when severely wounded (Wull: gak’pu, lit. “dead, only not”) with their cells and bodily fluids hardening to a near solid to prevent bleeding out and at the cellular level rapidly begin to repair the damage. This process often causes major organs to shut down, resulting in the body going into hibernation state that mimics clinical death (no respiration, circulation, or CNS activity). As the body heals on a cellular level, the seemingly deceased Wolatarian can spontaneously revive, sometimes hours or days after the injury. With medical intervention clinically dead Wolatarians have been resuscitated a week after being mortally wounded and physically recovered almost entirely. Depending on the extent of injuries, cell regeneration and cybernetic augmentation allows for the medical rehabilitation of injuries that would long be fatal for most other species. However, long-term memory loss is extremely common in these patients, and often they are described as being an entirely different beings after recovery. The preservation stasis can also be triggered by relatively minor penetrating trauma, causing an otherwise ambulatory patient going unconscious.

Their native language (Wul) has been described as a sing-song mumble by outsiders, with a distinct oscillating rise-and-fall pitch. This leads to a choppiness or slurring when they speak Basic or Huttese. Regional and planetary dialects vary greatly and no one standard has ever been established outside of academia.

Wolatarians as a species are hermaphrodites who reproduce via oviparity (although only one-in-three are capable of laying viable eggs). These eggs hatch into larvae which will mature into child (Wull: La’a(’t),‘child(ren)’) capable of unattended survival in about thirty-six months. Family units (Wull: Ka’coo, lit. ‘smallest community’) vary, but usually contain three to six adults (Wull: Vau-veu(’t), lit. ‘parent(s)’) in close commune which typically raise three to eight la’a’t over a period of fifteen years. In wealthy areas, most larvae are tended by medical staff in incubation halls until they are matured into a proto-adult stage, while poorer ka’coo will have one or two vau-veu’t taking care of the larvae continuously. Most Wolatarians are self-reliant young adults within twelve to fourteen years of hatching.

The lineage name are adopted based on various traditions and are usually passed on to their la’a’t by their birth vau-veu. Depending on the traditions, this surname may change in adulthood as they take on a name from their own ka’coo or from a guild or fraternity. Generally, however, their birth surname will be given to their own la’a’t even if it has changed in adulthood.

Ka’coo are rarely permanent, and it’s not unusual for the number of adults in the to shift over the years, however usually siblings (Wull: La’ka(‘t), ‘sibling(s)’) will stay together, even if their birth Vau-veu moves out and away. Even while in a cohabiting within an established Ka’coo there is no taboo on outside romantic or sexual relationships with the exception of a few minority religious traditions.

Without any traditional sex roles, the species is overall agendered, but individuals may display traits that are perceived as varying degrees of feminine or masculine by outsiders (irrespective of their ability to reproduce). Overall, their natural lifetime is just under a hundred-thirty years, but decades of violence has made the average life expectancy in the cluster around eighty standard years.

The species has been plagued with a series of intraspecies conflicts over the last several centuries, leaving cultural scars that has left a streak of militancy and distrust throughout their civilization. Physical altercations between working class Wolatarians is commonplace and is considered a legitimate method for resolving grievances. Unchecked hyper-capitalism in certain areas of the star cluster has also lead to the rise of feudal conditions in mining colonies and other industrial worlds.

Despite a seemingly boorish culture, overall the species values knowledge in the sciences, harmonious communities, individuality, creativity, and strong work ethics, but is given to a certain level of paranoia and reactionary violence, especially when dealing with outsiders.

    Strengths and Weaknesses
Physical Strengths and Weaknesses: Can lift more than 250kg with ease, body can go into a deep coma for weeks if mortally wounded/mutilated/exposed to extreme cold/vacuum; agility impaired due to physiology and with only three large fingers per hand, has difficulty manipulating some controls designed for humanoids

Mental Strengths and Weaknesses: Stubbornly determined to complete any task, excellent at learning new skills and processing complex information streams; socially awkward with other species, has a hard time maintaining conversations with strangers, given to substance abuse

    Emotional Strengths and Weaknesses
: cool and collective under pressure; Detached and unable to empathize with others (especially other species), given to outburst of anger with little warning.

    Looks
Appearance: Caterpillar-like being with four arms and four eyes. Dense fur fades from brown at the head, to near black, and back to brown. Eight stubby legs are nearly hidden under their main body mass. Despite their awkward appearance, they are fairly fast and relatively strong when compared to humans. Upright, stands 1.2 meters, overall body length is 2.8 meters.
    Eye Color: Black
    Hair/Fur: Brown-black covering entire body
Skin Color: Coal black under fur
Clothing: Bantha-leather brown jacket with rank insignia; Web gear with composite armour plates along the spine, armour plate carrier often worn on chest with sidearm mounted horizontally; gear vest/belt on lower body for tools, equipment, and ammunition

    Personal History
Immediate Family: At least two of their parents are deceased, and one of their siblings. They have had no contact with anyone in their family for at least six years.
    Spouse/Children: None.
Biography: The planet Lyby was an unremarkable desolate world of rock, smoke, and fire; the fourth planet from the star in the O’ran System. Although there was no natural atmosphere, massive smelters endlessly belched out toxic exhaust, which pooled along the planet’s surface in a sludge of liquefied gases at night, boiling off during the day into a low hanging yellow haze, only to condense again as the system’s star set below the horizon. City domes dotted the landscape around the larger mining pits and processing plants, with the majority of the planet’s inhabitants living in underground tunnels to avoid the bombardment of cosmic radiation.

Mining pits and refineries as seen on the surface of planet Lyby

Sage Parvil was born into a relatively poor Ka’coo (family) on this barren world. The middle child of five, their two older La’ka't (siblings) had left the planet as soon as they could, seeking employment with the ore haulers than transited the sky daily, hoping to earn enough to buy their way onto the wealthy, temperate world of Or’rac. This left Sage as the de facto eldest of the Ka’coo. They were only ten when their Ka’coo fractured, as dwindling economic opportunities cause the migration of three of their Vau-veu’t (parents) off world, leaving Sage without a real caretaker for themselves, their two younger La’ka't, and their lone aging Vau-veu. Although, their other Vau-veu had promised to support them financially as they could, deposits were sparse and eventually ended all together. Seeking to support the remnants of their Ka’coo, Sage turned to selling illicit narcotics on the underground streets of their mining colony. At the age of fourteen, they were initiated into a local street gang, where they slowly began to climb the ranks, developing a reputation of a no-nonsense brawler and enforcer.

At nineteen, their repeated run-ins with law enforcement eventually led to a three years stint aboard an orbital prison station for grand larceny and assault. While serving their sentence, their youngest La’ka was killed in a mugging, followed a month later by the death of their elderly Vau-veu from health complications. After their release, they attempted a clean start, spending the next five years as a droid mechanic in one of the ore mines (a skill they had learned while incarcerated). During this time, they had a series of on-again, off-again relationships, but never formed a Ka’coo of their own. Layoffs and rising inflation kept them from ever reaching the point of being able to buy their way off-world; in addition, their criminal record prevented them from ever rising above the entry position they were hired for. It wasn’t long before they found themselves back in the criminal realm with the remaining members of their old gang. They became adept at splicing and rewriting tracking numbers, weapon codes, and equipment serials to facilitate thefts of cargo and procuring illegal arms. It was during this time they began on and off spice use and heavy drinking. Eventually, the addiction and criminal activity caught up with them. Terminated from two legitimate jobs, they drifted between freelance gigs and illicit activities for several years, in and out of jail and homelessness. Cumulatively, they would spend another three years behind bars before they reach thirty-five standard years of age.

A few months following a six-month sentence for weapon possession, Sage was involved in an attempted break-in at a warehouse where a gunfight erupted between security guards and the thieves. When the exchange of fire ended, one security guard and two thieves were dead, with several others injured. When a warrant for their arrest for the involvement in multiple homicides posted the next day, they called a favor in with their oldest La’ka and managed to get themself smuggled off world and ultimately out of the star cluster into the outer rim.

Now out in the wider galaxy at the age of thirty-seven, they found themselves freer than they had ever been before. They began doing odd jobs in the outer rim aboard legitimate spice freighters. It was after a close call with Imperial enforcement in which Sage witnessed the senseless, brutal execution of two fellow freighter hands that they found their views turning towards the political. They found themselves reading political treatise on issues of class, injustice, and sentient rights. For the first time in their life, they began to see their misfortune as part of a larger system of oppression and their criminal past as its own resistance against the injustices of the system which exploited them. As their political views became increasingly radical, they found themselves working more for smugglers which moved arms and equipment to growing number of rebel cells across the outer rim.

After a freighter they was nearly destroyed by the Imperial Navy and crashed onto the surface of the planet Lothal, they found themselves pulled from the wreckage by local insurgents. They worked for a time with the rebel cell on Lothal and eventually became a electronic warfare officer on a Rebel corvette out of the Sullust system.

While regarded as an excellent electronic warfare technician and technical expert, they constantly clashed with the rest of the crew who found their mannerisms anti-social and their occasional explosiove temper as a liability. It was during the escape from Hoth that one of these conflicts boiled over into a violent assault on a non-commissioned officer. The young petty officer had made a critical mistake that nearly resulted in the destruction of the ship. Sage intervened at the last moment and the resulting argument turned physical. The human found himself in surgery, while Sage found themselves in the brig.

For the assault, they were court martialed, striped of rank, sentenced to six months in the brig at the end of which they would be expelled from the rebellion. Sitting in the brig, Sage was made an offer they couldn’t refuse, and the next day they found themselves en route to the Carrier Intrepid.

Approved Special Features (any force sensitivity would go here :p ): N/A Buck is just another guy.

    Character Traits:
Personality: Buck protects himself with humor and wit, and can find a way to make a joke out of any situation. Even when totally inappropriate. However, his levity shouldn't be mistaken for incompetence. Buck is an ace pilot and extremely loyal friend or comrade.
Habits/Mannerisms: Buck will often make jokes to dishearten his enemies, and sometimes his friends. He can be hard to take seriously, and vice versa.
Likes/Dislikes: He likes flying his Xwing, singing, and picking on anyone and anything. He dislikes people who take themselves too seriously, taking orders, and the empire.

    Strengths and Weaknesses:

Physical Strengths and Weaknesses: Buck is a typical Alderaanian human male, so he is of average strength. He is conditioned as a soldier.
Mental Strengths and Weaknesses: Buck is of above average intelligence, but he doesn't act like it.
Emotional Strengths and Weaknesses: The destruction of Alderaan took it's toll on Buck. Beneath his light and humorous façade, Buck is deeply troubled by the loss of everyone he ever cared about, especially the love of his life Eponyne Tinaga. This leads to rash decisions, burst of rage against Imperials, and an unending thirst for revenge.

    Looks:

Appearance: By human standards, Buck would be considered ruggedly handsome. He stands at 5'11''.

    Spouse/Children: N/A
Biography: Buck grew up on Alderaan, where by the age of 16 he was flying escort craft for trading ships and the like on the planet. He quickly made a name for himself as an accomplished pilot. Buck met Eponyne Tinaga when he was 19, and the two fell madly in love shortly after. When Alderaan was destroyed, but was on an escort mission. Upon hearing what the empire had done, and all he had lost, Buck joined the Rebellion. Buck was one of few surviving Xwing pilots from the destruction of the first Death Star at the Battle of Yavin. Although an expert pilot, Buck was known more for his inability to blindly follow orders. Often he would counter his commanders with jokes and insults, which did nothing to advance his station in the rebellion. Buck's often violent tendencies towards imperials frequently made him the victim of reprimand. He vehemently contested being assigned to the Hoth Rebel base. Due to his conflicts with officers, Buck currently spends most of his time patrolling, but he continually hopes for his next chance at revenge on the Empire.
