Kiki-Gon: Do you feel like the new info release has added anything interesting to our understanding of these events? You are the person I know with the most depth on this so I have been wanting your opinion. If you are already planning to work that in more in some other posts I can wait but I just wanted to make sure it was on the agenda.

In all seriousness I do think the government probably covered some stuff up and that Oswald may have (or may not have) been part of a broader conspiracy. The Ruby part is especially weird. Though anything specific is just guessing and speculation.

However as far as the shooting goes I absolutely think Oswald acted alone. No second gunman or anything.

 

I do not believe in the magic bullet theory so I guess I believe there was a second shooter.

 

I will. In a normal year I would have been all over that already but I’m finishing up a book I’ve been working on for 2.5 years. Basically every spare minute for the last few months has gone into that.

To your question for now though... yes, they are entirely unsurprising in that they clearly indicate that (of course) there was more to it than the fable that Oswald had no connections to anyone, etc. Even if he was the trigger man he was not a lone nut just as Robert Kennedy knew (referenced in my OP).
I guess the biggest thing involves Mexico. We already knew he met with communist spies while there and that the CIA lied to investigators about what they knew about the trip but we now have more evidence of that. As former Secretary of State John Kerry pointed out, there are still a lot of important questions about Oswald in Mexico.

I obviously don’t expect a smoking gun to be in the documents, not even in the ones they’re still holding back. It’s more about the little things that slip through the cracks, puzzle pieces that have to be matched up with other pieces, etc.

Based on incontrovertible evidence, it is inconceivable, implausible and indeed impossible that even the greatest, most talented sniper in the history of the world could have executed President Kennedy while shooting alone from the Texas School Book Depository, let alone a loser, mediocre shooter, patsy like LHO.

The final kill shot that murdered JFK came from the grassy knoll or that immediate area.

Those who deny this fact are simply avoiding reality. Why? That is yet another mystery.

I really wish there was a conspiracy , but having watched many docs over the years - it was just Oswald .
