At this point, I think I'm more excited for the memes this movie will inspire than the movie itself.

 

George Lucas praised TLJ. He also liked RO. I think I’m going to like this movie.

TLJ was pretty good, a big step in the right direction.

It was a great birthday present.

 

Saw it this morning. A good movie overall, especially the visuals and the humor. I even teared up at one moment in particular. Unfortunately , there's also not great things but I'll go more in detail later.

 

Sounds like i'll like it. lol

Watched the movie. Guess i need to watch some Anakin and Obi-Wan spins a few times. Guess id rather watch them spinning for the whole eternity than what Disney did in ST.

Yeah, i'm not seeing it 'til Monday...am really wary of something slipping through over the weekend...may have to go on total communications lockdown in terms of TV, etc.

 

Have you ever watched the films in German? When I was trying to work on my German a couple of years ago, I found some good audio book with video versions on YT and would watch the trailers for the German dub on Amazon I was trying to find a way to purchase digital versions of the German dubs through Amazon, but no dice--I guess those are only available for purchase in Europe.

And what's the status update on that "Nazis and socialism" paper?!

I announced my hiatus two days ago...and then kept logging in here

interesting, i hadn't heard that yet. i also consider that encouraging (and i also liked RO FAR more than TFA...)
