Toyfair 2018 - New Star Wars Items, Possible spoilers

Toyfair is this weekend in NYC, Hasbro's been previewing some of their upcoming new items. I posted their photos for Solo items in the spoiler thread.

They just announced this Ultimate Co-Pilot Chewie today.

Absolutely. First thing I thought when I saw it was "That'd be a great gift for my Niece or Nephew.". Then I saw the price and thought "That's be a great gift for my Niece or Nephew after it hits the clearance rack.".

 

It reminds me of those electric Yoda's that were 150, and didn't sell. I can still find them around at toys r us.

Forces of Destiny - nobody new but at least they brought everyone who's coming in the next few months.

 

Head sculpts on those new 6" Black Series are spot-on. This new scan tech they're using is paying off. Now, if they can just do the proper qc on those paint apps...

 

Ugh, I had no intention of ever getting any 3.75s, but that packaging is just so cool... I'm probably gonna have to pick up that Rey just for my collection's sake.

 

So this is from Jedi Temple - I have no idea if this is just one of their display things that they take to these types of fairs or if it's coming as a playset. Judging by the lack of figures they're showing on it I think it could be the latter. If so...I need to start saving NOW.

EDIT: I found out more info on this: Ok It's 4 1/2 feet long - I think they're looking for interest and it's got a hefty $500 price tag.

Ooooooh am I excited. A 6 inch Hoth Leia has been on my imaginary grails list for an absolute age. I'm definitely going to have to get two and keep one in the box - and I've never been one to easily justify that!

 

Nice toys, but it’s curious that hasbro loves repacking, many that was really in TLJ line, will be release again...

 

That six inch Holdo looks awful. The sculpt is great, but the body looks weird as hell.

Other figures all look excellent!

That barge is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. But $500 ?!?!?!

The 6" Black Series stuff is looking good.

 

So apparently no retailer wanted it, so Hasbro knows fans have wanted it so they're crowd sourcing. If they can get enough people to buy it for $500 a buck by April 1st they'll make it for everyone who paid. It's a beast of a playset, but yeah, I was thinking $350 as the max, not $500.

I'm on the fence about the barge. It's cool, but the price and size have me nervous. I'm also looking to buy a house soonish, may have to keep this beast in mind too.
