Just got into Fallout this year. Where have these games been all my life? I love them! I'm also excited for Fallout 76 the more I hear how it'll be! It reminds me of SWTOR and I think a few guys from there were involved in it too.

I'd like Fallout 4 more if the game didn't stutter and bug over next to nothing when going into the city. I'm at least lvl 110 so even on Survival it's a cakewalk. If anyone is going for the long haul on Survival I'd suggest investing at least a little bit in endurance, unless you wanna bring around power armor.

 

Hey just a heads up for anyone who played Fallout 76 in 2018 according to Bethesda you will now be getting a free copy of Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics. This includes people who played on consoles.

never had a desire to play that game, disastrous launch notwithstanding.

I wonder where they plan to set it... I would like a fallout show set in the Mojave like NV or in Southern Cali like in 1, don't think that will happen though if it is mostly Bethesda input.

I've always marveled that Fallout , having its roots in pen-and-paper RPGs, has taken this long to have... well, really any tie-in products, apart from a graphic novel for New Vegas (which was included with the special edition, so I'm not sure I'd count that). Considering how lore-happy many fans are, it's kind of surprising.

 

I have always thought a book series set in fallout could do really well. There was a cancelled Movie in the works in the early 2000s

 

Westworld is slickly produced mystery box nonsense, so I'm not enthused about the choice of showrunners. Who knows, this could be different.

 

Westworld is interesting enough. My main issue is that there's no way a Fallout tv show is going to portray America badly, when a take-away from Fallout is just how horrible capitalist pre-war America was.

 

This is exciting and all, but another settlement needs our help.

 

I mean, HBO has done Watchmen and Plot Against America, which depict alternate, more dystopian USAs.

But Bethesda sorta whitewashing the lore in Fallout 4 could be a bad sign, yeah.

 

Amazon? I'll pass. The script from the 2000 movie project is still around, but I was hoping for something more original as it was the story for Fallout 2, still my favorite game in the series. Bethesda still has imput, so they will most likely keep it on the eastern U.S. Of they do I would suggest Newark, NJ, Philadelphia, PA, or Buffalo, NY, as location.

For the Westworld tv show creators, the first season was the best, I am not going to be holding my breath.

 

I agree. As much as I enjoyed season 2, not much happened and it felt repetitive

 

I highly doubt this show will be based on the 2000 movie script

 

Also, this Nolan did Person of Interest.... so there's every possibility that we'll get some of that.

Now that Fallout is owned by Microsoft I wonder if that means we might one day get another Obsidian Fallout game.

 

Don't forget, they own inXile too -- a Wasteland/Fallout mashup like folks always wanted... since Fallout was always the "spiritual successor" to the original Wasteland, and Wasteland 2 was the spiritual successor to Fallout 2...

 

I think if you combine some people from all three studios you could get a really kick ass game

 

So I played through the new update steal Dawn or whatever it’s called. I was impressed no new glitches or anything like that. Again your choice doesn’t seem to mean anything but something cool

Burke a character introduced in the new update is the first character in the series to not use a he/she pronoun.
