Duel of the Fates is easily my favorite music cue of TPM, but for me it was the action that went with it that ranks as the top moment. Other than Battle of the Heros, and a few other ROTS cues, DOTF is my favorite bit in the PT.

Am I the only one that though there should have been less interruptions in the TPM duel? Splitting up between following the duel, the siege, the battle AND anakin left me thinking "disjoint much?"
Upon rewatches I just want to see more of the duel uninterupted and more of the ONE of the other matters...probably amidala's so she can say my favorite line, "now we will discuss a NEW treaty..."

Character? Qui-Gon Jinn hands down
Scene? Battle of the Fates
Quote? "I'm the only human who can do it!" -Anakin
Object? Darth Mauls double-sided Sith lightsaber
TPM has the fastest lighsaber battle in the entire series. I think that more than anything else makes it worthwhile.

The awesome battle scene at the end (except for little Anakin's cutieness. ) Lolz! Admiral_Riva_Denais!
Ps. When i listen to duel of the fates, i hear the l-saber clashes in time to the music (on one of the repeated parts of the main theme)

Duel of the Fates. Awesome. I've seen it a hundred times and it still intrigues me.

Any scene with Qui-Gon or Darth Maul (except his death scene of course).
Qui-Gon is how I imagined the Jedi of old were after I saw ANH and Maul just rocks plain and simple.

The duel, particularly after Qui-Gon has been stabbed and the barrier released Obi-Wan to go head-to-head with Maul. The fight choreography here is unparalleled in all of the films, I believe.

"The Star Wars story is really the tragedy of Darth Vader. That is the story. Once Vader dies, he doesn't come back to life, The Emperor doesn't get cloned and Luke doesn't get married," George Lucas. I'm a proud hater of 98% of the Expanded Universe.

Qui-Gon and Darth Maul's Duel in the sand on Tatooine was great. A good teaser for what was to come later in the movie.

I think it was Lucas who described the Duel of the Fates as exciting because it was the first time an audience had seen Jedi in their prime fighting a Sith lord also in his prime (as opposed to the Luke/Vader duels in the OT), and he was right.

Since everyone is mostly going with THE DUEL... I'll say the scene with Maul and Sidious on the balcony. I love the "At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge".
I also really like the landing of the troop/droid ships when the invasion of Naboo begins. The design of those ships is very cool and the underlying music is great.
