	Then Anakin would have been subdued at the temple, all of the other Jedi would not have been killed and Palpatine would have been crushed. The next three movies would have been 'Anakin's rehabilitation and bringing balance to the force' - a political drama - yawn - What if Obi-Wan had not whipped out his lightsaber so quickly but called on the more than decade long friendship between them (like any normal person would have) and reasoned with Anakin, telling him the truth as he then knew it and advising him that it was never too late to rejoin the living force no matter what he had done...? -----signature----- I say we put together a 'kill squad' and assassinate Darth Krayt. The posse would likely have still been alive and the four of them could have restrained Mace and taken Palpatine into custody. Anakin would be okay with that because he would be in an even better position to bribe him into giving him the info he needed to save Padme. What if Skywalker had found out in advance that Palpatine didn't know how to save Padme, but found out that the plan was for him and Anakin to "discover it together" -----signature----- I say we put together a 'kill squad' and assassinate Darth Krayt.
