Hey, 
I'm just wondering why do so many people like Darth Maul all of a sudden because he wasn't very exciting to me at all. I voted for darth vader/anakin skywalker because I like it when he is evil  and of course he is cute. I liked darth vader cause he is not pure evil at all and deep inside he is really a good person. He finally found love for his only son.

maul is my favorite because i study sword fighting and maul exibited the best sword fighting i've seen amongst the villians in all the pt movies.

This is one of those polls that really demonstrates to me just how many cool characters Lucas has created.
Say what you will about his direction, editing, writing skills, but he definitely writes many, many instantly recognizable characters.
Even the fact that all of these villains are quite different from one another (and that Vader is an amalgamation of them all) is amazing.

Sidious is my favorite PT villian. He's a complete genius and I think genius villians are cool. Plus he has some of the best lines in the PT.

Pre-suit vader not only is the coolest PT villain but villain in the entire saga. For me he is the image of the sith. The eyes, the merciless killing, the cloak...everything..he is the real deal.

Darth Vader is my favourite villain, but I do not prefer him as much in the PT as in the OT. For just the PT, Dukoo has my vote. None of the other villains had charm or grace that every decent villain needs.

Darth Sidious/Palpatine by far. Loved him from the moment I realised they were one and the same person while watching TPM. The idea of causing a rebellion so you can manipulate the senate nto making you chancellor, is just brilliant.
