I thought she was blue, but she looks green in the movie, maybe because of the green forest around her then.

Yes, Qui-Gon's death what caused Dooku to finally have enough and turn his back on the Jedi.

Agreed. Like Qui-Gon, Dooku was head strong and did not always agree with the Council's decisions. Qui-Gon's death was the final straw that caused Dooku to leave.

Oddly enough the new book 'Jedi vs. Sith: The Essential Guide to the Force' seems to be changing that. I don't see why they decided to though since it's been the official reason for a long time.

It was true that Dooku thought Qui-Gon would be on his side in the conflict. Personally, I'd say it would be more likely that Qui-Gon wouldn't be on either side.

I always thought nute gunray was a duro then i found out he was a neimoidian, so this is my question are the duros and the neimoidia come from the same planet or same orgin like the bith and y'bith or are they two different species that look kinda the same?

If Anakin and Obi-Wan can pick up Palpatine's beacon, why is it that the Republic ship continues to fire at the Invisible Hand until it is on the verge of breaking up? Can't the Republic ship pick up the signal from Palpatine's beacon the same way Anakin and Obi-Wan did from a greater distance?
