Obi-Chron posted: In the Theed reactor scene, when Obi-Wan rediculously vaults himself 15 feet into the air above Darth Maul, force-takes Qui-Gon's saber and slices Maul in two -- all while Maul watches, frozen in seeming admiration at this flippin' incredible feat (even for a Sith).
Maul's loss was totallunnecessary -- especially with the introduction of Dooku in AOTC. Mace could have held his role and eliminated that of of Dooku throughout the rest of the PT. The way Maul was taken out was simply beyond belief, especially in lieu of how Anakin met his horrible fate on Mustafar, unable to perform a much simpler leap over Kenobi.
To Obi-Chron, we all should listen!!

The AOTC scene(s) with C3P0/Battledroid hybrid were terrible and useless.

I don't particularly like Padme's death-by-sadness in ROTS, but even that is the height of realism when compared to just about any scene with Jar Jar in TPM, especially the unconscionably tedious audience before Boss Nass, and the screeching "all sinkin' and no power" scene at the Planet Core.

Whenever I watch PM, I usually skip past all the Jar-jar scenes. He just ruins the consistency of the film.

I can find something to appreciate in roughly 2/3 of the Anakin/Padme AOTC discourses, but that Coruscant loft scene has to go. You know, the one that's capped with Anakin Skystalker giving Padme that unsettling, lascivious stare? "Sorry, M'Lady."
Will someone please throw this little creep out the window? Hopefully his body'll miss Dexter's roof.
Why couldn't Lucas have taken a different approach with this scene? Why not Anakin the Bashful? Make us like the kid before his reunion with Momma. Something like...
Padme: "Thank you...for saving my life."
Anakin: (waves fingers) "That's two you owe me."
Padme: (laughs) "I thought it was three!"
I dunno.

Anything with Jar Jar.
Qui Gonn's greatest failure as a Jedi was not letting the droid invaders kill him right at the start of TPM.
But by far... the worst is having to see that ridiculous excuse for a character rise up and implore the Senate to give Palpatine emergency powers. "Dellow fellagates..." Garrrr!!!! I can't stand it. Such a putrid excuse for a purpose to be given to an undeserving character.
For one... I feel deep sorrow for the people of Naboo if he's one of the best they can find to represent them in the Senate. Secondly... we are told that NO OTHER SENATOR IN THE ENTIRE BUILDING has the courage to suggest such a vote for Palpatine except for Amidala and yet everyone IN THE ENTIRE BUILDING (save for Jar Jar) knows that, in fact, she'd never call for such a vote. Every time I sit through AOTC and hear that and see Jar Jar rub his chin... I want to puke and am left wondering why Organa or anyone else in the room doesn't laugh at such a ridiculous prospect as Amidala voting FOR giving Palpatine the power to do whatever he wants.
But far worse... is having to see Jar Jar be the one to do it.
And as if GL is taunting me... he had to insert Jar Jar into ROTJ so now we can hear him say "Wesa free!!!!". No Jar Jar... "wesa" not free... "wesa" prisoners of your absurd existence in SW.

He sounds like Jar Jar. He speaks like Jar Jar. If it ain't him... it still sounds like it. How about a deep baritone "WESA FREE" ala Boss Nass instead?

He speaks like Captain Tarpals as well. He also speaks like Boss Nass. They all say "wesa." I am 90% sure that Lucasfilm has stated that it is not Jar Jar.

Well they all speak with that "wesa" type enunciation, so it could be any number of Gungans. But I think it's hard to argue that it sounds like the Jar Jar we all know. Captain Tarpals had a deeper voice as did Boss Nass (clearly). That high-pitched "Wesa freeeeeee!!!!" sure sounds like Jar Jar.
If Lucasfilm did come out and say that it wasn't Jar Jar... that's kind of amusing, i.e. why would explaining something like that even be necessary?

Of course Jar jar, how can someone like him be trusted with a decisive political position, like when he gave emergency powers to Palpatine. Just like the Ewoks, its annoying

I actually liked the romance scenes.
Least favorite PT scene has got to be Yoda fighting Dooku. He looks like a bumblebee with all that twirling. That and the way he used the cane before and after the fight. Heck that whole section wasn't working for me.
