The above isn't an option. He couldn't jump to lower bank because it was too hot, he had to reach the level of Kenobi.

Arawn_Fenn posted: If you mean contradicts ROTS in that scene, of course it does; it's an alternate timeline. But it has been my position that we're meant to see that cutscene as evidence of Anakin's intent. However, it still doesn't seem completely clear why Obi-Wan does what he does in that scene... unless maybe he's expecting some kind of downward stroke from the front...
On this issue, the novel offers that Anakin leapt "at Obi-Wan's back".
I meant the game contradicts the idea that he could have been jumping to hit Obi-Wan while he was in the air.

For Jedi:
Best Use of the Force: I will have to agree on Qui Gon finding the key to immortality, all by himself too.
Best Performance in a Duel: Anakin against Count Dooku. Especially because he got merked so bad in AOTC, he came back ready to upstage him.
Best sense of the Future: Padme, even though she wasn't a force user. Her whole line about "being on the wrong side" and fighting to protect the Republic is what has made them into what they're fighting. Then Anakins whole reaction, like it was actually ridiculous.
Best Force Jump: Obi Wan in TPM. Twice he's kicked aside by Maul, but each time he just comes back up, dukes up. Especially how he hangs, does the force jump and grabs the saber.
Worst use of the Force: Anakin floating the pear to Padme.
Worst Performance in a Duel: Yeah I'm going to agree, the Jedi Posse was mainly useless.
For Sith:
Best Use of the Force: Darth Sidious throwing the Senate pods at Yoda definitly looked amazing.
Best Performance in a duel: Darth Maul, though he died in the end, it had nothing to do with his superior dueling skills.
Best Sense of the Future: Palpataines whole plot, he foresaw what could be his, and made it his.
Best Force Jump: I agree with Darth Vader jumping onto the mustafar droid, that looked intense. To jump so far, so high and land on something he probably didn't even see.
Worst use of the Force: Darth Vader, final Force jump attempt agaist Obiwan Kenobi, RotS
Worst Performance in a Duel: Darth Vader against Obi Wan kenobi, just because if he kept his wits about him he probably would've been fine.

For Jedi:
Best Use of the Force: Yoda, hands down. He went toe-to-toe with Darth Sidious and what a show that was!
Best Performance in a Duel: Yoda. He pwned Dooku and mocked him in the process.
Best sense of the Future: Anakin. He saw what was coming. He just didn't realize that he was the one bringing it.
Best Force Jump: Oh, this going to be easy, Kenobi. In TPM, he jumped farther and higher than anyone else could ever dream of doing, including the Chosen, extra-midichlorianated One.
Worst use of the Force: Kenobi. He couldn't block Dooku's Force-powers onboard the Hand. And then Dooku got crushed.
Worst Performance in a Duel: It wasn't much of a duel, but the Jedi-Posse members were clearly the most inept Jedi to ever fire-up a lightsaber onscreen.
For Sith:
Best Use of the Force: Sidious. See the wrecked Senate Chamber for details.
Best Performance in a duel: Maul. He whipped 2 Jedi and he was just the Apprentice.
Best Sense of the Future: Sidious. "You must sense what I have come to expect. The Jedi plan to betray me and if they HAVEN'T included you in their plot, they soon will..."
Best Force Jump: Maul. When he flipped off of the Bloodfin-speeder to attck Qui-Gon.
Worst use of the Force: Vader. He didn't use it enough against Kenobi.
Worst Performance in a Duel: Vader. He couldn't jump 20 feet when his life basically depended upon it.

He wasn't trying to jump any farther than he did.

I don't know if you could call what Yoda did a 'pwning', but when did he mock him? I actually remember him complimenting him, "Fought well you have, my former padawan".
