Hmm, Sids may have over thought himself on this. If he left the Separatists leaders on Utapau, then eventually he would have sent Vader there to kill them, meeting up with Kenobi anyway. On Utapau, at least Vader wouldnt have been burned up.
I don't think that Palpatine had foreseen Obi-Wan appearing on Mustafar to kill Anakin.

He certainly sensed it then, but I think DRush76's point was that he didn't sense that the removing the Separatists would be dangerous to Vader. He didn't plan on any Jedi surviving. I'm sure he was prepared for a few to slip through his trap but for the most part he was expecting the Jedi order to be extinct. He couldn't have foreseen the Obi-Wan would survive and later go to Mustafar to stop Anakin.
