I guess when people say "how could TPM be so hated when it made so much money?"--here is your answer.
Yes, I hated this movie within the first 10 minutes, I wanted to leave the over packed theater.
Seriously I think I was in shock the first time I saw it, because of how bad it was.

wow,are you really serious? when people start saying things like that is when it just gets ridiculous. The best part of the movie is the first half hour at least, and for me the movie doesn't start to loose its fire until the first appearance of jar jar. What about the first ten min. could ANYONE find to complain about? really?

I shut it out no problem, even to this day. The bottom line for me was, there was no way for it to live up to anyone's expectations after all this time, after it has become such a part of pop-culture. As with anything else, people were looking to relive that childhood wonder experience, and failed because they didn't realize they had grown up and experienced so many things since that of course this experience would be different. One grows up and looks at the world differently, so of course this is no exception. even adults that saw the originals... they grew since then too. anyway blah blah blah. point is - me personally I just shut it out. Sure it's far from perfect, but i still love it. That was a fun time of my life! Working at the fanclub, getting to meet most of the iconic people that make up the SW universe... ::sigh:: good times!

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith 1/04
Avoid rather than check. Check rather than hurt. Hurt rather than maim. Maim rather than kill. Kill rather than be killed.
For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced; and I have MUCH to live for!
