Does anyone think Obi-wan, as a duelist, wasn't given much justice in the prequels? He fairs quite well in the duel with Maul. Yet as many people have come to gripe about, his duel with Dooku. I know the general answer would be that Dooku is a form II practitioner and Obi-wan was a practitioner of Form III. It's not as if by practicing form III Obi-wan has no experience fighting in a duel. Form II and form III have some similarity in technical requirements such as precise and close moves for defense. Can it just be that Dooku was just naturally better? It just seems odd to see Obi fight well against Maul, Grevious, and Anakin/Vader; yet when he fights Dooku he seems to have forgotten everything he has learned.

Dooku was one of the best duelists in the order before he left and turned Sith. Most folks would have a hard time against him. It's been stated in the EU that during his days as a Jedi only Yoda and Mace could stand a chance against Dooku.
Obi Wan also chose to fight in a more defensive style after TPM, which wasn't overly aggressive and powerful. Obi Wan has great dueling skills, but his fighting style wasn't a very good one for fighting Dooku. Dooku also likes to do force tricks in battle as well, so he needs to watch out for that as well. If he decided to fight Dooku with a more aggressive style like Anakin did, he could stood more of a chance.
