That sounds very cool!
As for the potluck, just bring treats or drinks or whatever you can scrounge up. It'd be awesome if they're Halloween themed, it's okay if they're not.
If you want, you can post here what you're planning on contributing so that someone else doesn't bring the same thing.  The activity shouldn't last forever and a day, so I don't think we need a whole meal, but if you want to bring something more meal-oriented than snacky, that's okay too.
