I SO hadn't noticed the 3rd group of parents in this pic, and their posture...

Wow. Just wow.

So many incredible moments. That montage at the end is wonderful, esp. from a character perspective.

So it's a consensus then? Man-babies all round?

Incredible episode.

Is the chief actualy smiling in that last montage pic??

He seemed either relieved or happy to be found out and have that all taken out of his hands. Didn't seem to care if he died or not. I liked his line to Sam " Go on, tell her" like it was some game. Karas face at that point...ooo.

I did like the feelings and faces when 3 stepped on board Galactica and the fleet Cylons reactions to it.

What did 3 mean when she said the 5th Cylon wasn't in the fleet. Who wasn't in the fleet at the time..Roslyn? Gaius? Or does she mean something else like..the fleet is the 5th? or soething more philosophical. Or maybe one of the normal Cylons is actually one of the revered 5. Dunno.

Tye finally stepped up to the plate. I was yelling..TELL BILL, and he did and it was like..woah, and I was like WOAH. Poor Bill. Knew he wouldn't believe him. Did wonder how long that disbelief would last. Loved it when he went to change his uniform after being all sooky.

Lee got damned sexy when he got that powerful didn't he?? or was that just my feeling wink

I felt jipped out of the length of time we saw it take for them to get to earth. I figured at that point that the last 10 episodes would be about the journey there. SO when Roslyn's giving the order to jump, I'm thinking it's the first jump on their way, not the last.

I did want to cheer too, but yeah in all our heads we were probably thinking..what the frak's gonna go wrong now. Figured there would be the rest of the cylons already there ao a colony of them...not what was actually there. Or what wasn't.

So..is that a nuclear wasteland where they destroyed themselves? Cylon caused destruction. Something else?

BUt that final montage was SO GOOD. Was nice to see everyone that matters react to it...and really feel the despair. Was wating for Kara to fall on her crazy button.

Lets watch the last few episodes together at some point. Hell..MARATHON!!!

I'd always vaguely planned to a do full-series re-watch after this episode, and the content of it seals the deal. I'm going to be watching the miniseries right through to Revelations. I'm more than happy to integrate any marathons into my viewing schedule.

That episode caused my brain to dribble out my ears. I was tensed-up and on the edge of my seat the whole time, and when a certain unexpected shot right near the very end came on the screen (you know the one I'm talking about) I sat bolt upright and said out loud "you've got to be kidding me."

And then there's the ending, that final shot. Give me a bit of time to get my head back together and then it'll be time to start flinging theories around.

I'm reading through the non-spoiler impressions while the episode loads, and suddenly the wait is a lot more painful. Twenty minutes? But that's, like, hours.

I thought that too but technically, everyone was in the fleet at the time she said it and the way she said it implied that the Final Cylon was never in the fleet. I also thought 'What if it's the entire fleet' but that doesn't make sense on so many levels and would be a cop out.

Now, I think the Final Cylon is on Earth somewhere.

I'm trying to think which shot you actually mean BBN. So many I reacted to like that.

The fleet hovering over Earth. I thought they knew where it was and were going to take months to get there, not that it was one frakin' jump away...

I particularly loved the music in the final minutes of this episode. It was a perfect touch to a perfect episode. Bear McCreary talks about it in his blog here

I need to say ...Revelations is my favourite episode of the series thus far. love

At least one Battlestar TV movie might be greenlit.

Three movies might be overkill, but I am (in the immortal words of Mssrs. Adams, Stewart and Sting) all for one. My money's on the origin story of the Secret Four. But that's a pretty safe bet: they said they'd explore that in post-s3 interviews, and at at this point in the series chronology, it's almost a moot point.

5th Cylon, I've moved back to Tigh's wife. Based purely on the last supper pic. Would suit.

I've been considering that one for a while too and it really does fit. We have no knowledge or reason to believe that the final Cylon is actually still alive. Looking at the Last Supper picture, it makes sense artistically as well; She would normally be sitting next to Tigh and would want to also be sitting next to Lee but she's gone... completely missing.

We've all been looking at that picture the wrong way, thinking that the final cylon is missing simply to keep them a secret from us but what if she's actually missing from the picture because because of the story?
