I think it is safe to assume this is so.

George Carlin is Dead

RIP, Don S Davies
He'll be remembered most fondly by Stargate and Twin Peaks fans, but he'll always be Captain William Scully to me.

Thanks to him, I'll never forget just what it is that makes John West Tuna "the best".
Seriously, as a big Stargate fan, this was a very surprising and sad thing for me to hear. My copy of Stargate Continuum, where his character makes a return appearance, should be winging itself my way quite soon, and I'll look forward even more to its arrival. Here's hoping it's a good send-off for him.

Yesterday, Richard Branson and Virgin Galactic rolled out EVE (White Knight Two), the mothership that Spaceship Two (their low-orbit passenger spaceship) will launch from.

In an interview, one of scientists working on the LHC said that the chances of this creating a black-hole big enough to destroy the earth (Roughly 1 in 200,000,000,000) are the same of the LHC turning into a portal to another dimension populated entirely by dragons.
But still, I'm preparing my Goatee, crowbar and "WHAT HATH SCIENCE WROUGHT!?" speech.
EDIT - and the projections of this destroying all life in the universe are 1 to 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. I wish i could understand all of the science involved in this.

Ah the day is finally coming
I'm gonna name Goobs and my next born, Zephram, and await his creation of warp drive and he'll attack the final frontier.
For clarity's sake..no I don't get the science behind it either and the money it took to build it is phenomenal. Seen various docos on it but I tend to forget things like that. Still, if we're spending milions on how to make better Tv's we should at least be spending billions on stuff like this. If we get destroyed doing something like this at least it's a wmore worthy end than killing ourselves in war.
Oh and no, more clarity, no more kids on the way..sorry Goobs for scaring you like that. The name is just so Trekky to waste. Can we have a dog??
