You scary internet people are invited to Echo Base next saturday night (the 5th) to play some Super Smash Brothers and Mario Kart. I'm not doing a LAN for a little while, because I'm working weekends for the foreseeable future, so i thought a Wii night would be fun. I suppose if we get bored of that we can watch Doctor Who or Battlestar or something.
Anybody interested?

Sounds like fun MS. Am moving to Goobs on Sunday but will be loking for a fun few hours on Saturday night.
Actually, was going to ask if you wanted a couple of Goobs couches we're either giving away or taking to Vinnies. Everyone's slept on them at some point  Thought they might be good handed down to the youngest or for your current gaming rumpus room..an inheritance of sorts.
Could bring them over in a truck Saturday night. Although negotiating your driveway in a truck?... hmm..
Anyway, thought I'd ask.
If anyone else wants them..3 seater and a 2 seater, you know the ones, say so!

i would be in for some brawl and or mario kart for sure. can't do this coming saturday though as i have a friends house warming to go to. But if its going to be a continued thing i'll be there for the next one.

Always up for Mario Kart...not a platform fighter player, but always into the Kart.

But still young and zesty enough to show that conservative Mario Kart SNES generation what for.
Sammich, will you need any extra controllers? I have three remotes, two nunchucks, a classic controller and a few GameCube controllers.

I've got 2 remotes, 1 nunchuck and 1 classic controller. I think if you bring 2 remotes and 2 nunchucks, that should cover us.

Just to state the obvious; soz, I won't be there 
Have fun, wouldn't mind trying Mario Kart someday, guess I'll just have to stick to my N64 for a while (you aren't the only one Goobs  )
One day I might actually get some free time to turn up to one of these things... maybe in a couple of years...
