To be honest with you, Boba is probably easier to make than the clone, it doesn't require a vac-table and can be made on the cheap with readily available materials. If you want to see how easy a helmet is for example;

I have already started making a helmet, I made my own dome molding fiberglass and resin over my old Kevlar helmet. Looks good so far and I will eventually post pics.

this is even more organized then what my friends and I are doing to make a film out of several book series-es by our favorite author Tamora Pierce. of course we are still on scripts but we've laid some costume foundation. Does anyone know how to edit in special effects such as giant spiders with human heads and purple fire and such?

Question for you, ESB or RotJ Boba Fett? The reason I ask is I am gonna start looking for fabric(tackle twill and cotton twill) for jumpsuits and they are different colors. It might be worth it to just get materials for both of us at the same time.

Lets get a list together of who is interested in starting costumes & then I will bow to your expertise in figuring out the next steps 
Personally, I will either start with Boba (ESB) or Clone Trooper

Tonight I will try to post pics of my boba bucket I started, just to show you. I am willing to take lead if no one else does. I really do prefer to build my own, over buying other peoples work, I am just strange that way.

No problem, Chris. Steph is MIA at the moment, tied up with school. I'd like it if you would get some ideas & give some direction for people who are interested in getting started. IE: places to go & people to contact 
Then, meybe we can set a date where we can get to gether and work on them. There is some of us, myself included, who are very much a newbee to the Costuming World.

Sorry for my disappearance, guys. Like Rob said, school has been kicking my butt for the past few weeks. It's the end of the semester and everything came to a head. However, tomorrow's my last day, so I should be fine from here on out.
As for costumes, I would really love to have a TK. That's why I originally got into the 501st. I started with a TIE because that's what I could afford, but I would love to upgrade.

As I said I would, here is my start on my mando helm. Keep in mind this is a rough start and I lack the artistic skills.
I think TK and clone are within our capability.

I'm gonna have to decide where to start, either with Boba or a Clone Trooper. I think I might start with the Trooper. Steph, you never answered if you would be willing to do a Trooper (costume, that is, lol).. (That didn't really sound right..  )
