	How did the Clones know not to kill Anakin? 1.) Perhaps Palpatine knew from the start, when he began the whole clone deal, that Anakin would have turned to the Dark Side at that point...so he programmed the clones to kill all Jedi except himself and Anakin (since he is also a Force-user) 2.) Perhaps he just programmed them to kill all Jedi (and not Sith). By the point where you see the clones marching behind Anakin, he had turned to the dark side. 3.) Considering we only see Anakin with the clones once, when heading to the temple, perhaps the Emperor simply told them off screen to kill all Jedi EXCEPT Anakin. -----signature----- I have failed you Anakin...I have failed you. --Obi-Wan, EP III

	I don't think it was pre-programed into the clones,but it was more just an order that the clones understood they would have to carry out someday. i originally thought it was preprogrammed, but when i saw the movie for the second time, the clone commander who is on Kashyyk takes the order then walks up behind Yoda . and then the Clone trooper with Yoda and the Wookies nods at the commander and they both pull out their weapons.so that is proof at least, that not just the commanders know of the order.i am starting to come around to the thinking that the Clones received Order 66 in their Kamino training but are trained or brainwashed into suppressing it. and when the order is givin it activates the order in them. But i really don't know for sure .as for the Clones not Killing Anakin , I'm sure that they were informed that Anakin is their new Leader. that part seems very simple to figure out. -----signature----- http://outerrimsieges.com/

	Think it was programmed into them on Kamino like some subliminal message. You know you read these stories of "secret agents" being activated when they hear a certain word or phrase. 	You guys are correct about Kaminoans only caring about the check clearing. In the real world, that's how it usually works; all we want is the money, you can have your product with no questions asked. The riddle about "what exactly is Order 66?" is simple enough to understand without onscreen explaination. You'll notice that when Bail Organa Arrives at the Jedi Temple, the Clone officers turn him away at gunpoint. This clearly shows what you have been saying that the programming was to remain loyal to the republic. Palpatine spends a great deal of time convincing Anakin that the Jedi are bad and out to control the senate and the republic. He didn't just come up with that idea right then and there. Some how (and it doesn't matter how)the clones were planted the orders when they were made, it just was just programmed to protect the republic at all costs, and that even meant turning against the Jedi. This can be implied that when the clones were first commisioned on Kamino that whomever posed as Sifo Dyas (and it doesn't matter who, even though it is interesting to ponder), it was Sidious' grand design to portray the Jedi as against the Republic and embed that into the minds of the Clones. As well as embedding that into Anakin AND the senate. It is just so obvious in SITH when Sids first initiates Order 66. At that point, you know, or you don't. ROTS takes things from ALL FIVE of the other movies and makes this all work out as the last piece to the puzzle. Unfortunately, Order 66 was their last important order that they got to initiate. Order 67 turned out to be known to the Clones as "KILL BINKS", but #66 became more important. -----signature----- Apart from his pay, which is considerable, George demanded only one thing-- an unaltered OT for himself. 	Although it's more disturbing to think that they knew about the order and were just waiting for it, rather than having it implanted and them having no knowledge of it, I do think that was the case. Simply becasue only the clone COMMANDERS got the orders, who just nodded to the other soldiers and they knew what to do. If it WAS implanted and had to be initiated, this procedure would have to be done to all of the clones individually, otherwise there would be nothing there to initiate the "program" or whatever.
