Let's start up the Mace is evil conspiracy thread!
He wants to take over the senate (he says it'll be brief, but Palpatine said he loved democracy - ha!), Yoda says this is a dark path.
He uses Vapaad, which'll send you right to the dark side!
He ordered the Clone Army, clearly.
A purple lightsaber...hmmm...suspicious.
He's a bad man.

I posted a lot in that thread actually, because I once was suspecious of Mace as well. But, as time wore on, I came to understand the truth, Mace isn't evil, he's just the embodiment of the Jedi's weakness.

I posted a lot in that thread actually, because I once was suspecious of Mace as well. But, as time wore on, I came to understand the truth, Mace isn't evil, he's just the embodiment of the Jedi's weakness.
Then you must re-read my Mace thread - because thats exactly what I said. I just thought it went a step further in some respects. I never said or thought Mace was evil.
I maintain that he did the wrong thing in ROTS.

p.s. Boy that thread was hard work. The stick I got was legendary. Im still waiting for the apolgies to roll in. I'd better get comfortable.
