Nktalloth posted: Aayla is at Point. Blank. Range. Against what, three, four clones?
Seven or eight Clones open fire, being point blank range none miss, and they have the element of complete suprise. The Databank also confirms that they chose their moment well:
In a moment of distraction, as a native Felucian bird took wing and drew Aayla's attentions skyward, Bly and his troops opened fire, riddling Secura's body with blaster bolts and killing her.
All things considered, her death was fait accompli.
Uwishuwereme posted: I dont know if anyone here has played Battlefront 2 or not but it kind of shows an interesting background of the clones admiration for Aayla,in the game the clone narrarator says "I hope when she died it was quick cause she deserved better"
Yeah, a nice touch for a cool game, Temuera's narration is really gritty and realistic.

She never should have died at all, she should have escaped, she's too hot to die
http://orbitalreviews.com/AmyAllen1.JPG
That is me with Amy Allen -- now who can seriously say she shouldn't have gotten a lot more screen time AND she should have been without face paint? Why does Lucas always want to paint up the hottest chicks? hehe
PS: I don't think the Jedi are arrogant. I think they're confident, there's a huge difference but most people don't care, they're neither confident nor arrogant so they wouldn't know, haha. I don't think Anakin is arrogant either, I just think he's head-strong and young, it isn't arrogance that makes him think he can take on Dooku, because I don't think he really had thought it over rationally, he just is a young dumb kid who wants some action and thinks he's capable (which he is), so he goes in and loses an arm. As for Jocasta Nu, she wasn't arrogant either, she just was confident in the collected knowledge of the library. None of the points I saw above seemed like arrogance to me. And Anakin had good reason to think he could become the greatest Jedi ever, so that's not arrogance, it's called ambition and potential.
If I thought I WAS the greatest weight lifter ever, I'd be arrogant and living in a dream world. But if Michael Jordan thinks he's the greatest basketball player ever, or Tiger Woods thinks he's the best golfer ever, that's not arrogance, it's just the truth.

hmmmm...Aayla Secura very hot lol....but her death scene was unbelievably stupid.
They completely undercut that she was a very powerful jedi, fell to the darkside came back, survived the Geonosis Assault at the onset of the Clone Wars and then falls like a fainting little helpless girl, not cool at all!!!
This and the fact that her and Bly were friends and all of the Clones and Commanders respected and loved(friendly) their jedi companions, was heartbreaking but when they shot her in the back and she falls immediately was stupid. And then the clones and Bly proceed to shot her not once not twice but around 40-50 different shots thats sooo stupid. Were they afraid that Secura would come back to life. I mean Ki Adi, amongst other jedi didnt come back to life after a couple shots. 40 shots for a lone single jedi is insane. that is why I think her death was annoying at best and stupid at worst. She deserved much better then that but what am I just a lowly fan lol.... :/

Could be a scene of death stupid. I think Order 66 was a good idea to kill all the Jedi in the same time. Of course, some of them had survived, but Vader still had 20 years to find them.
I was so suprosed when I saw it in cinema. Kenobi has just left Cody, when he had this call.
-Excute order 66!
-Yes.
-Shot him down!
I couldn't bellive it that he decided to excutei it wichout any hesitate...
And after it this scenes... I think Aalya's deatch was teh best of all. I like her, but If she had die she wouldn't die in more dramatic scene.

Lol, this thread is funny but pointless in my opinion.
What good will it do to keep bemoaning the untimely death of Aayla and her boobs?
Should we start a thread entitled "Oola's death"?

what about Barris's Death, or Luminara's? or Shaak Ti's? are they not pretty enough to warrant a Death Appreciation thread?

Wow, racist against aliens that don't even exist in real life. That's an enigma.
Shaak Ti's not hot huh?
Um, I beg to do differ. Have you seen Orli Shoshan? Besides, those head tails would come in pretty handy for the reach around. She'd have you singing notes you forgot you even knew existed.
Shaak Ti's death was featured in the rough cut of the film. They removed it in the interest of time. See there's this thing directors do called editing. It's why every movie in hollywood isn't 6 hours long. If it doesn't directly contribute to telling the story or it messes with the pace, you cut it.
