It seems strange no matter how Powerfull Obi Wan and Yoda are they could take the temple back so quickly from the clones yet all the other jedi lost the temple in a blink.[/quote]
Well they were only padawan's vs. Anakin and hundreds of clones. theey were just young Jedi who haven't been trianing that long and Yoda & Obi-Wan they have been training for a lot more time than the padawans and they weren't guarding the temple when they broke in because at the same time Palpatine was giving his speech and the clones would have been guarding the senate in case that any senators resented the Empire.

Exactly!! Yoda and Obi-Wan got into the Temple with less resistence due to this! If it wasn't for the congress session, things may have been different. One can only speculate how that would have turned out!

Yoda lost trust based on what he sensed with the Tuskens and what he saw in the Council chambers. Mace lost trust in the Council chambers. Obi-wan, who had trust issues in AOTC had full trust by the time Anakin became a Knight.

It's still true. It was true even before Mace lost faith in Anakin. When push comes to shove, Anakin couldn't remain unbiased. Mace was showing Anakin compassion because he cared for his well being. He knew that it was hard for Anakin to even tell him this. Especially given what happened and what he knew of his close relationship to Palpatine.

If you rely purely on what is in the movie you can't tell if the Jedi in the temple put up a good fight or not. All they show is the march on the temple, a quick cut scene during the purge of troopers inside the temple and Anakin about to slaughter some of the younglings hiding. It is pretty much left up to the imagination how many Jedi of varying ranks are left inside the temple, let alone what type of resistance they are able to pose. I personally prefer to think that they put up a fight before they went down, and that it was Anakin's power that made the difference.

See above. Mace left Anakin behind because it was the right thing to do. He's confused. Easily manipulated and swayed. Mace knows that his personal feelings will be a hinderence to him and he cannot afford to have that happen.
Because the Jedi did'nt place enough importance on Anakin's FEELINGS. the guy was an emotional mess. but the Jedi never addressed it.
Not when dealing with the Dark Lord of the Sith. As we see, Mace was correct for not putting his full trust into Anakin. He did betray them, after all.
this is a double edged sword . I saw Anakin betrayed them all , partially because they never trusted him. Mace was so sure he could not be trusted, that he let it affect HIS judgement. Anakin was the Chosen one . the Sith was out in the open . Anakin is the Chosen one!. they were all Confused , Jedi and Anakin alike. it was bad decision making all over the PT and ROTS in general. if Anakin is being raised as the chosen one. told this for years, and when Judgement day comes ,so to speak comes, they bench him?. I must repeat the Jedi were clouded and confused as well. so i really see this as another bad judgement call by the Jedi, like many in the PT.

Could it be that once the Temple Raid was over, the clones didn't remain inside and went elsehwhere like 500 Republica where the Chancellor was? Compared to the many clones that came with Vader to destroy the Temple, a lot of them were killed by the Jedi, and not many of the clones were guarding it once Kenobi and Master Yoda arrived there.

I think the total number of jedi is not very well put across in any media source. I always think there are atleast a million total. This includes Padawans, knights, and Masters. I know it seems like alot but realy it isnt if you take it into perspective. Thousand of star systems throughout the Galaxy. We cant even concieve having the pleasure of just hoping into a ship and hope to the other side of the Milky Way. But if you had to put the masters throughout it and more would be killed it would then seem not that big. There are about 297,995,526 people in the U.S. which is only one country. Coresaunt is much larger then Earth and is coved in city. Now if you look at thier temple we see plenty of space in it and it is always seen full. Now its the middle of the war, many have fallen we still are not at the point that every Council member is not out on the field nonstop. They still fold council, they still have leisurly time to a point, they are not as desperate at all times as we see most of the time, I mean who wants to see Shaak Ti folding robes on her off time. Now I dont think the Temple was totally defensless. In diff. media they had the brutes archers etc. But the clones had walkers air craft and the fact that they had no hatred. I mean it was perfectly legal. Nad most even didnt want to do it. There was no malicious intent for the jedi to sense. They were taken by surprised, attacked from the front the air and possiblly the sides and rear. There ar no front doors it is all open. Anakin knew his way in he knew where all the high ranking jedi board. he could send the troops directly there to kill them. He knew where everything he needed to obtain was and knew basically how to get past it. He also knows weak points in some knights rom living and working alongside them. So I dont think the jedi were defensless but oddly enough they were out manuvered.

In the ROTS videogame, the Old Librarian woman Jedi sees Anakin and some clones walk through the front door. Anakin asks for access to the Temples mainframe. She says "no" and that only the Jedi council can authorize that.
Furious, Anakin force pulls her toward him and impales her with his lightsaber! With her gone, the Jedi stand no chance.

BTW, a little off topic, but still it raises a good question. Was Bail Organa the only one that noticed that Temple was in flames? It seems like everyone else was just casually driving by like nothing had happened.
