And now, the end is near,
And so you face the final curtain.
My friends, I'll say it clear,
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain.
You've lived a life that's full,
You traveled each and ev'ry highway.
And more, much more than this, you did it your way.
Regrets, we've had a few,
But then again, too few to mention.
We did what we had to do and saw it through without exemption.
The mods planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway.
And more, much more than this, you did it your way.
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew,
When you bit off more than you could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
You ate it up and spit it out.
you faced it all and you stood tall and did it your way.
We've loved, we've laughed and cried.
We've had our fill, our share of spoilers.
And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing
To think we did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way,
"You did it your way"
Yes, it was your way.
