There were plenty of lightsabers laying around in the Temple for Yoda and Obi-Wan to get spare parts. Perhaps Yoda's new saber is inside his cane, Zatoichi-style.
(If I remember right, that was an idea for Yoda's lightsaber for AOTC.)

There's nothing to suggest he does. If he has one on Dagobah it's probably because he made another one. God knows he had the time to.

There's no reason for either Obi-wan or Yoda to take any of the Lightsabers out of the Temple, especially if they didn't use them in their battles. Nope, it seems that Yoda lost his if you just go by the film itself. It would've been too risky to go back for another at the Temple. There's no proof that Yoda built another in the films. We do know in the novelization that he kept his saber, but then he also keeps his robe too.

Just why would Yoda even build a new lightsaber if he is in exile and has nothing to look forward to until his death?

Actually if you go by the film ROTS, you can see Yoda's saber when he falls. it's in the far bottom right corner of the screen. go back and look, you will see it. so, it is reasonable to assume that before he escapes he takes it with him. however it is not a pink, nor purple saber. it is his own green one. that other stuff doesn't, doesn't count.

you're not looking in the right place. right after Yoda hits the ground, and before he looks up at his falling cloke. look to the bottom right of the screen, you will see it. it's on the senate floor, not in bails speeder.

yoda knew that he did not need his lightsaber
if you looked people when order 66 is executed he feels the pain of jedi dying in his heart. this means that he is so in tune with the force he can feel another dying, in another system.
also yoda felt the need to keep himself hidden so yes he may have seen it but it would not be worthwhile

I got that, but you do not see it on him when he dives into Bail's speeder. Only his comlink is on him.

I completely agree with darth-sinister on this issue. This thread pokes its head every once in awhile. Yoda clearly lost his lightsaber in the Senate on Coruscant and went to Dagobah without one. The only thing he's got on his belt in Bail's speeder is the comlink he used to call for Organa.

That's Obi Wan's philosophy... Yoda never really addresses it.
In fact, he seems to not think much about sabers in the OT.
Though, in the novel of ESB, he does teach Luke some sabery.
Regardless, Yoda without a lightsaber is no daisy.
Unprotected, he is not.
It's not like it did him a lot of good in the first place.
I say it's gone and he never built a new one.
It was akin to a samurai breaking his own daito.
