Ghost of Jinn could be on to something here, they can't have Ep III get too bloody. I mean in Attack of the Clones we see that there are Jedi children, if they show all the Jedi die on screen it'll end up like Schindler's List or something.

OK, how's this scenario? Obi-Wan, Yoda, Padme & Mace are gettign the twins ready to go into hiding. Sidious & Vader's army attacks. Mace volunteers to be the last line of defense. The others are overcome with emotion, as they know their friend will surely die, but they realize it's the only way. Mace ignites his saber and shouts something totally bad-ass and totally in character for Samuel L Jackson to say (he doesnt say mother f***er, though, this is a family movie). He makes a charge, his purple blade slicing through their ranks like butter. Uses the force to crush the clonetroopers' armor like a bunch of eggshells. Maybe he even calls upon the dark side (since he's got nothing left to lose) and lets loose with a massive discharge of force lightning, obliterating the army and leaving nothing but a smoking crater, and draining every last bit of life from his own body. He becomes one with the Force, but not before the others are able to escape, and Sidious & Vader will not be able to interrogate him & figure out where they went. This way, he goes out in a heroic manner, and becomes an important footnote in the saga, as the one whose sacrifice allowed baby Luke & Leia to escape.

I was all for Vader / Palpatine doing Mace in, but having read the script for EPII and a summary script for EPIII and the AOTC novel and reading to all the spoilers on this forum then I have come to the conclusion that Mace will be killed by my Mum................I have evidence;

EVIDENCE:

No 1. My Mum watched Shaft the remake on Saturday and said it wasnt very good.

No 2. See above-what part of that dont you understand.

No 3. Mace has eyes, so does my Mum, Mace can close his eyes, so can my Mum.


As you can see the proof if overwhelming.


Mace V my Mum. What a battle, he almost has her, but she eats his back.

............but seriously, having read AOTC (I know its not full canon-but it is pretty close) the relationship between Boba and Jango is too close for Boba to let it lie, I think Boba will go to Genosis and ask to be put in an ageing chamber (or somesuch) until he is large enough to fry Mace.

BADMAN.. I am so gonna smack you and your Mum. No way in h-e-l-l that Boba's gonna kill Mace. For god sake, he'll be in puberty! What's he gonna do, use his raspy voice to mke Mace shriek in pain? Show him his peach fuzz? Use his increasingly smelly sweat?

You're forgetting something Master_of_Darkness. Boba Fett is a clone himself, he's been genetically programmed. Who says he ages like a normal human? Don't blame Boba for his weak death in the Sarlaac. That's clearly Lucas' fault for punking out and not giving him a worthy death. Lucas could have done a much much better job but he didn't want to put any effort into it. He just wanted Boba out of the way and be done with it.

If he doesn't say it, I will. I'm putting money on Boba Fett killing Mace Windu. It makes too much sense in the story for it *not* to happen. Otherwise, Boba witnessing Jango's death at the hands of Mace Windu is utterly pointless.

Does he take him out one-on-one? Maybe. Maybe not. But he's gotta be the one.

But you really don't know. I'm seriously gonna mark that movie down if that happens. It sounds so stupid!

Boba attacks Mace. They fight, Boba kills an extremely strong jedi that whooped his father, somebody who has the same strength as him.

Even with someone else, it still sounds stupid.
