	Yes Hunt..., I do believe Boba takes out Mace as revenge for Jango. Boba possesses many skills, and he had many jobs other than being just a bounty hunter. He's a mercenary, body guard, soldier for hire, and a paid assassin. I don't think Boba will fight Mace one on one. He probably knows he can't beat a Jedi in a straight up fight. Since Boba is a man of low morals and ethics my guess is he ambushes Mace and shoots him in the back or something cold like that. Master_of_Darkness you're assuming Boba Fett is a punk and can't possibly beat a Jedi. Jango and Boba Fett are decendents of Mandalorian Warriors. Mandalorian Warriors are not force sensitive but have been worthy adversaries of the Jedi for centuries. 	I'm not basing my stance on anything related to mandalorians or EU. I am saying that for the purposes of storytelling and drama, it is infinitely better for Boba Fett to kill Mace Windu instead of anyone else. It fits in thematically with the saga -- the son succeeding where the father failed. It completes the major story arc for Boba Fett. It potentially allows a line in the OT to be paid off. It's just a better option than some sort of bizarre twenty-seven-way fight between all the remaining Jedi, Sith, senators, Steve Jobs, and Bill Gates where everybody changes sides six times and then Anakin runs out for five minutes and changes into a black suit and kills everyone, but Steve Jobs manages to invent the iMac before he dies and Yoda saves the twins. -----signature----- I'll take Swords for $500.

	Not to bash you guys or anything, but, Mandalores or whatever aren't capable of killing such a kick-arse jedi as Mace. He's leader of the JC for something. He also wants to go out in style ( SJ does ), and GL having a fifteen year old horny bounty hunter kill a well trained, well experience Master as Mace is just.. just... un-Lucas like! Jackson seems to have a lot to say in his death, and I think Dooku maybe nearly killing Mace, and then having Boba kill him isn't a bad idea, but anything besides that sounds so stupid. -----signature----- Palpatine kicks ass. 	I don't want to sound like I'm nit-picking Hunt..., but Madalorians are not, I repeat, are not EU. I don't care for the EU at all. Madalorians are mentioned in the script and novelization of ESB. 	I'm not getting into method of killing -- I don't care how it happens, I'm saying that Boba Fett should deliver the final blow because it's just better form overall. And anyway, I wouldn't base my expectations of how someone would die based on how cool I thought they were. Tons of people thought Fett was the coolest and probably the best bounty hunter ever to exist in the universe, and look how he went out. My point is that there's great payoff for the story & the saga as a whole if Boba Fett kills Mace, and it takes on a whole different level of significance than if he is killed by Dooku, Palpatine, some extra, or in some circumstances even Anakin. -----signature----- I'll take Swords for $500.

	Still, If Boba Fett killed Mace, it would.. well.. suck. Cool? If EP3 isn't cool, then therefore it would suck. Cool means a good ammount to me. SJ has a lot of influence in GL's decision, and I don't think he's a giant Boba fan. Dooku would be much better, in every way as a death. -----signature----- Palpatine kicks ass. 	Except that Dooku doesn't have a fabulous motivation to kill Mace. Anakin could, given the right scenario. Who has the best motivation? Boba. Can it be done well? Yes. But I wouldn't object out of hand. I mean, god, he nearly takes out Obi-Wan when he sneaks in the Slave-1. It's not like Boba Fett's a fair fighter, and I wouldn't expect him to get in some sort of protracted and time-consuming fistfight/blaster vs. saber melee that we've seen a gazillion times. Plus, just lay down enough fire and no one's gonna be able to stop it, Jedi or not. -----signature----- I'll take Swords for $500.

	You bring a very interesting point DARTHSIKNAS. It appears from ESB that both Boba and Vader have a history between them. What if Vader and Palpatine capture Mace and give him to Boba as a "gift." Mace, severely bruised and bloody after having the crap kicked out of him by Vader, is then delivered to Boba on his knees with his hands tied behind his back. Boba slowly walks up to Mace, raises his blaster rifle, then fires a shot through his head. Lucas wouldn't have to show this in graphic detail, but with unique camera angles or maybe a reflection off Boba's visor imply this is what happens. What do you think? 	Hasn't it been stated several places that the problem with the clones is that they are not as good as their source material? This being the case, Boba should by nature be weaker than Jango. If Obi-Wan held his own against Jango, and Mace defeats him, it seems to me that Mace should beat Boba easy. No way it is going to be one on one. So far, we have seen nothing in any of the movies showing us anything to do with how powerful Boba Fett really is. Maybe he is just lucky all the time. Until I see some actual ability on screen, I am unimpressed. If he was that good, he wouldn't have fallen in the pit in ROTJ. Many fans seem to want to lift Boba Fett into this huge character in Star Wars. He was just a plot tool people, just like Jango is, and hence gets killed off. Assuming Mace dies in Ep III, it's gotta be a sith.
