Not sure what it will be but will GL surprise us and NOT go for a big duel....I mean how many has there been:
OBI-VADER
VADER-LUKE
LUKE-VADER-PALPS
QUI GON-MAUL
OBI-QUI GON-MAUL
OBI-DOOKU
ANAKIN-DOOKU
YODA-DOOKU
In EPIII could possibly:
ANAKIN/VADER-OBI
ANAKIN-DOOKU
MACE-VADER-PALPS
YODA-PALPS-VADER
OBI-PALPS
OBI-DOOKU
YODA-DOOKU
PALPS-DOOKU
There are too many potential duels, each duel takes about 15 minutes.....thats possibly 1hr 15mins on sword fights, doesnt leave much for plot twists and character developement, or are they going to put some really snappy dialogue in the duels.....alongside the twins birth, the visits to Tatooine, the Starfights, the escape, the birth of Vader in his suited form and the purge of at least 2000 Jedi (potentially more) I think Maces death either wont happen (looking after Leia on Alderran((dont like that))) or it could be something like Palps just kicking his ass in two seconds flat to show how TRULY powerful he is.
Just not Boba.

But.....he aint the Emporer of sh*t.
Palps dusts Mace-2 seconds flat. Doesnt even use his own weapon, Sith-mind controls Mace to top himself.

We all know that the most feared Bounty Hunter ever. Boba Fett will destory Mace Windo and take his revenge for the death of his father, We must remember by Episode Three Boba Fett will be in his prime, young and packed with deadly weapons while Windo will be a aging jedi, unable to withstand a vicious attack, much like Q-gon could not withstand Darth Maul, I also think that Boba fett will not just kill Mace Windo he will leave no body to bury, and begin his career taking over Jango's legend...

According to recent reports on TFN:
Boba will be back in epIII...
Boba will be mightily upset at Anakin...
Sam Jackson wants Mace to die heroically...
We all know that:
Of the trained force users in AGFFA, only Ben, Yoda, Vader & Palapatine are alive by the time of ANH.
My theory:
Sometime 3/4 through EpIII...
- Anakin has been seduced by The Dark Side and is secretly now Darth Vader.
- Meanwhile, Mace Windu discovers Palpatine's identity and goes off to tell the Jedi Council.
- Before he can get there he is caught in an elaborate trap by young Boba Fett.
- Before Boba can get his revenge, Mace is 'rescued' by Anakin. (Maybe Anakin has orders to confront Mace himself, before he will become a Sith Lord? Either way, Boba now hates Anakin for denying him revenge.)
- Mace reveals his knowledge of Palpatine's identity as a Sith to Anakin.
- Anakin has to kill Mace, 1. to become a Sith? / 2. to prevent the council finding out about Palpatine.
- Maybe Obi-Wan somehow arrives to see Anakin finish off Mace?

I think that Boba is a secondary character - some would argue otherwise, but if he is a main character why did he have such a cheesy death?

People People People, if Jango the best bounty hunter to ever live couldn't beat Obi-Wan with all the resources available to him, and then got dusted by Mace, then what makes you think that Boba has any chance....Boba wont stand a chance against Mace one-on-one, Age is not a factor, and two if Boba surprises him and shoots him or something, then I wouldn't call that dying heroically...

its the middle of ep 3 (or close to the end if you prefer), and the jedi are
all but gone at this point (yoda and obi wan have faked their deaths
naturally). mace windu is standing in the middle of a darkened room, the
only light is coming from his lightsaber. its all but quiet as mace looks
around (lightsabers hum you know lol). then as he turns around, all you hear
is mechanical breathing and the snap hiss of a red lightsaber coming to
life. as the camera gets closer to the mysterious figure, the imperial march
starts up and darth vader makes his first appearance, illuminated by his own
saber, slowly walking towards mace with murder on his mind!!!
wouldnt that be a kick ass way of introducing vader? we already know anakin
isnt too fond of him already, so he'd reserve the "honor" of bringing out
the armor for the one who originally denied him being trained.

one small thing to add though, is that we shouldn't look at Anakin's initial denial to be trained as something that is squarely Mace Windu's decision, it was the entire Jedi Council's decision........So the whole "ohhh Anakin hates Mace because Mace wouldn't let him be trained" sounds like us being newspaper writers and trying to start a player/coach fight or something

true. but with the "i hate mace" mentality, it gives sammy his "grand death" he wants: being intentionally left alone until all the others are (seemingly) gone to be the first victim of the TRUE darth vader. a double grand death!! not everyone gets to be the first victim of movidoms biggest bad a$$! lol
