Heck yeah, Mace is bad **s. What's laughable is the idea that Vader could keep up with him one on one. I seriously doubt Anakin could do it much less his machined persona.

as for boba fett. i think that he was the clone of jango that jango requested as payment for being cloned. and i think they said something about a clone with no age progression. that would be totally cool if i could clone myself and raise me as my son. what?
and i was always under the impression that when anikin turned to the dark side, vader killed all the jedi, with the exception of yoda and obi. so i assume mace will die by the hands of vader.
i'm more concerned with what point in the story do they decide to end ep3. i would think somewhere on the lines of luke and leia being born and separated, but all i know is that they better show a near completed death star and vader kicking some ass and ruling the galaxy.

And I was always under the impression that Obi-Wan was trained specifically by Yoda and that Anakin was a great STAR PILOT when they met and that the mandalorian would fight the Jedi during the clone wars and list goes on and on.

That's right, but that doesn't mean that he can't have the aging treatment done on him later I don't think.

sam jackson was just fooling about. dooku, vader and a sith! LOL. all that, for a character not even mentioned in the OT? all that, for a character no one would really care about had sam jackson NOT played him. i think you guys want ep3 to be like an episode of Smackdown. mace will die. but, you know sam does have a certain influence over lucas...i mean he convinced the guy to make his saber purple! so, i guess anything is possible. just that vader, dooku and sith idea is not plausible. anakin does surpass mace, and he has to do it by ep3. i dont think that mace will fall in a sith/jedi one-on-one fight. he could uncover that sidous is palpatine and confront palpatine...and there he could die. perhaps, the greatest dark lord of the sith kills the 'bad mutha'? i just dont think that he will die in a saber duel.
boba has to be in ep3! AH! it would be freakin cool for him to disintigrate a jedi! vader could get miffed, and in ESB his line to boba could have a little backstory. i mean, why not?:)

Plus why can't Mace have a sabre fight?
it doesn't have to be 5 mins long or anything, look how long his fight with Jango lasted and that kicked ass!

Doode, as far as who I think should kill Mace I have said that several times in previous posts.
What I would like to know is WHY do you think Vader or even Anakin would or even could kill Mace alone when we all know he is going to get his but whipped at the hands of Obi-Wan. I concede that Obi-Wan might have help, but that would just be weak.

Well Anakin should infiltrate the Jedi temple with troops and fight Mace to the death.
Yes Mace is hard core tough but Dooku is almost equal to Yoda , and we are assuming Anakin kills Dooku so why can't Vader kill Mace in a 2 minute sabre fight or something?
That wouldn't hold down the rest of the movie plus if Obi beats Anakin straight up i think it will be glorious battle by both men until ala TPM Obi quickly takes out Anakin or something after Anakin has him on the ropes.

I hope Boba lops off his head just like Jengo's in an equally unispired fight. Dang the script fight was so much better.
Realistically Boba's not that good of a fighter ... ROTJ.
Maybe he'll rocket out of the Sarlaac and reappear in Ep. 7.

boba will 'incinerate' him as mentioned on ESB. its the only logical conclusion. boba saw windu kill his father, and we know he eventually helps with the elimination of the jedi. killing a jedi master that killed his father would make the most sense.
the jedi temple IS NOT destroyed. see the special edition of episode 6 at the end, and youll see its very much intact in the same place it was shown in episode 1. i think it was mentioned to be palpatines imperial building during the release of ROTJ SE.
