	The way I've been picturing the epic death scene of Mace Windu for a while has been this: I always imagined that some death squad (in my mind it was like..10 sith warriors w/ double lightsabres and 2 lightsbares..just like a gang of badasses..but this was just in my mind for a 'cool fight'...for the movie it could just be 10 stormtroopers or something) from a larger squadron sent to aide in the murder of all jedi. Mace battles heroically and quite masterfully against 10 oponents, surrounding him, making quick moves with his lightsabre to defend himself on all angles. The battle is fast paced and impressive...mace is kicking ass on all sides despite the fact that he is outnumbered. We see a shot of someone walking up to the fight...from behind...slow steps. Mace is turning furiously, taking out stormtrooper after stormtrooper, and he spins, facing this new individual who has walked into the fight. To his surprise, it is anakin. (in my mind, at this point, mace doesnt know anakin is the one behind the attack on the jedi). Mace is shocked to see him Mace: anakin? without a word, anakin thrusts a new red lightsabre into the chest of mace. a grimace of pain, and the master windu falls to his knees....anakin and the few remaining surviving stormtroopers begin to walk away..but over anakins shoulder..out of focus...you see windu struggle to his feet..anakin stops in his tracks and turns, with an angry expression, annoyed that the jedi master has the nerve to NOT DIE. Mace is slow...clearly in pain from the injury that must be fatal..but hasnt killed him yet. He is still struggling to his feet when anakin attempts another, more forceful attack. As if revived with new strength, mace quickly blocks..and begins battling..blood trickling down his lip...his steps each looking like he's about to fall over and die..and yet he still manages to hold his own agains anakin for a while. anakin swings around and slices off mace's arm at the shoulder..another grimace of pain...and mace falls backwards..landing flat on his back..panting....anakin positions himself above mace...twists his sabre around and lifts it, preparing to drive it again into windu's chest, when mace uses the force to pull the sabre from his dead arm and block the attack with his good arm...he attempts to fight again...a galant attempt..but he is almost on his knees from the pain and blood loss...hes going to die. we all know it. its just a matter of how long. one swing of windu's sabre is too slow, and anakin drives the sabre into his kneecap, sending him to the floor for the last time..windu looks up, panting..bleeding on himself, at anakin..full of anger at his resilience....breathless, mace speaks. mace: the chosen one......balance....this is not how..it was supposed to be... anakin brings his arms back, setting up the fatal blow...mace closes his eyes in deep meditation, knowing there is nothing more he can do...a flash of red glares across the screen...and mace's head falls out of frame...his body is heard to fall a second later.

	Nah. I don't like that one. It is way too much like Boromirs death in LotR. You know, he takes about 4 arrows before he dies in Aragorns arms.

	Wait a minute! If Mace disapears then that mean he wills himself to join the force before a death blow is actually landed much like Obi-Wan did when he faced Vader. So in all actuality, NO ONE ACTAULLY KILLS MACE WINDU! And this phenomina should be talked about at some point during the movie and then we see it for the first time when Mace does it.

	This might have been said, but reading 520 posts is just a wee bit insane in my mind. But I think we are going see MAce pull an Obi-Wan while fighting either Dooku or Sidius. I don't think he is as good as Yoda so instead of continuing to fight, he simply says "Strike me down now, and I shall become more powerful than you can ever imagine" and pfffft, he becomes our first blue wavy guy in the prequels. 	Personally, I think Windu is still a pretty shallow character. I dont care about him. Making him a traitor would be awesome. He could kill Padme, sparking Anakins turn to the darkside. The whole Judas, Gambit traitor thing is usually a good story.

	I would rather see him die at the hands of Sidious or Anakin. As long as it's a powerful force user, to provide a great fight scene, and to show how powerful Mace is. -----signature----- lol goatse lol
