Sorry I didn't make it, looking forward to seeing the photos.
Christian (my friend who came with me last time) got out much later from the Planning Commission Meeting than we expected. When our topic came up, they announced that it was deferred for 2 months, and when they asked if anyone wanted to speak about the deferral, around 50 people got up to speak against the project. One of the first people asked everyone who was there to oppose it stand up, and over 90% of the standing room only public meeting room stood up, probably over 150 people. I have to say I got a chill to see how many people we were able to get informed about this issue, people who had no idea what was being planned there and are concerned enough to come out to fight it. They had to cut off the public comments after a while because pretty much everyone was lined up on the side ready to go up to the mic to express their objections. The guy representing CVS was stuttering when he came back up to the mic after that and said they would now need additional time before coming back to the commission, but the commission refused and said they have to stick with their original deferral date.

Sorry all.
My mom (she lives with me) hurt herself yesterday and I was in a rush to take care of things at home. She also puts my son on the school bus and meets him at the bus stop in the afternoon.
Jean and I have had to change our schedules to take over while she is recovering.
All is fine - yesterday was just a total clusterF...

Sorry I missed it.  I am still fighting my upper respitory infection. I have been coughing so much I believe I coughed up both lungs and a kidney.  The cillin is starting to work, so I can actually breath now.
