Interesting.
This past Thursday, an old buddy from Boot Camp and I met up here, along with another guy as well. And it's weird...we got to talking and stuff, and...they called me the New Age Samurai.
LMAO. I almost died. I was like, "How do you figure this?" And he was like:
There are 7 virtues, or codes, that samurai possess, right?" And I go, "Yeah, but I dont think I adhere to all seven virtues."
And see, just last night, they witnessed the power that I apparently possess.
We were at this place called Maloney's...real nice bar that's underground. It's really cool--great food, too. Well, me, Kyle, Ross, and...Legder(Yeah, Chris--Legder) were all there. I was pulling back a pint of Blue Moon. That's fantastic stuff. It's a white ale.
Well, anyhow, music's goin in and you know-I can't dance for crap, but all of a sudden this gaggle of girls in bright green, very tight shirts come downstairs. Apparently, they worked at another bar down a few blocks but came by after work to chill. Man, alot of them were hot, and one of them came over to my left and asked me what I was drinking. I told her Blue Moon, and she was like, I never heard of it. Is it good? I let her try some, and she was like, Damn that is good. So I bought her a pint, which is the only way they sell stuff around here. She and I start talking, and Kyle and Ross are over by the pool table watching me...
She asks if I was with the military--I was like, yeah.
Lotsa questions. Well, she had sat her pocketbook down on the counter near me and asked me would I watch it while she went to the rest room. You know, I could have been a bad guy, but...ya know. ^_~ I was like, "Sure."
So, she goes to the bathroom, and Kyle came over and was like, "Dude, you're so gonna get some!" I shok my head like, "Man, she's drunk, and...I'm REALLY wasted." "It SOUNDS like a gravy plan but...I don't know." But you know........after fifteen minutes...she never came back.
I got curious and asked one of the other random chicks in green about who this girl might be and where she wandered off to. Luckily they were all like friends and stuff. One of them went to the bathroom to check on her...ha, she got sick and let loose on the toilet.
Her friends helped out of the bathroom--I still had her pocketbook, mind you..and I walked with them outside, and like, three blocks down to one of their cars. When we got there, one of the girls asked me was I her boyfriend.
And the girl whose pocketbook I had heard this, and looked at me, kinda like she wanted to see what I'd say or something.
And I decided to hit with a smoothie line: (I kid you not).
"Unfortunately, no."
And she apparently liked that alot. She had a pretty smile and said I was cute.....she gave me her cell number, but also unfortunately she was in the process of moving to Miinesota with a girl buddy of hers. Kind of a bummer. Ha, ha, and I FINALLY gave her back her damn pocket book. She was like, Oh my God, thank you"!
I felt bad cuz the entire time she didn't realize I was holding it-lol. Poor hot girl.
Kyle and Ross didn't follow me out. I ran back to the Bar hoping they didn't bail or anything. I found em and they were like, Dude what happened??" I told em what was up...I got a number and all....but she was moving and stuff.
But I gave her back her pocketbook!
And Kyle was like, "What did I tell ya??"
New Age Samurai.
I was like.........."Shut yer face."

Because, what I could do here, I could never do back there. This place----invigorates me!!
And I think that Kyle had a big influence on the night. You see, he almost didn't make it through Boot Camp, and he thanked me again for talking to him and giving him words to listen to.
Not that you haven't had an effect on my navy life, my dear comrade..
-Can you believe this!?!? Ledger says he's Heath Ledger's second cousin!
Kind a **** is that??--Man, I don't know how I stomach him.
LMAO! And LAST NIGHT, we were waiting for the trolley and this creepy lady(not that bad looking actually) was watching us from behind a fence. It even creeped me out. Finally she came back around the corner and walked right up to Ledger and was like, "Aww, hey there!" "Hi, you're sooo cute!!' Dude, I died!
She shook his hand, and he had that look on his face!
Ah, ha, ha, ha, ha! Man, that was great!! She followed us quite a ways on the trolley too. I thought the crazy broad was gonna try and come on base with us, but she stuck to her corners and such.

I don't mean to be the rebel here, but I fully don't see why we are deciding to "migrate", in a sense, to myspace.
I mean, this is OUR house, man.
We shouldn't just "move out." I earnestly don't see what difference it makes whether or not we're here or myspace, but since we were HERE first...
I mean...if you can show me how it is easier on myspace to converse back and forth than it is on these boards, then maybe I can be completely on board here.
Maybe I see something you don't.

I went to myspace because my friends I hang with now are on there. I was still checking here til recently. Now after all this commotion about my question on where is everyone I decided to give up on this... Just checking to see how you are man... I do love hearing your stories!!! Hope your doing well.

Well, if there's not going to be anyone up here, there's no point in finishing anything at all.
I'm officially de-moralized. 
This IS really retarded.
We are Star Wars fans!! Yet we can't seem to find time to post on the very boards that makes us--us!!
And of all of us, I'm probably the one that's the least interested in Star Wars. Don't get me wrong, I've had a tremendous interest in it as of late...
But this does truly sadden me.
My last connection to some of my closest friends back home could be severed.....

That could never compare to the amount of insight I have earned and received on these boards.

Last I had checked this area isn't going to be shutting down or being abandoned. We're not migrating to MySpace, we're giving those who are on MySpace a group to belong to within the confines of MySpace.

And no, we arent leaving here or migrating there or anything like that. Personally, I cannot get online as long as I used to, because I cant get on at work anymore at all. So, I have to relegate the time I get between my myspace site, Ebay (BIG TIME) and checking here and other Star Wars sites. And porn. Lots and lots of porn. LOL, just kidding. (or am I?  )
As a matter of fact, I am going to be trying to figure out when we can have our next meeting, fairly soon. So dont worry Shindo, we arent going anywhere. We arent the post leaders of the Southeast for nuttin, bud.

These dumb computers here won't even let me click on someone else's page. It's so stupid, and this really hot gothic girl keeps messaging me asking me why I haven't responded to her pictures!

Hahahaahahaha. Well I personally prefer this site over myspace but once I get a picture of myself up on myspace Ill be on both. And Shindo we dont just love you for your stories........Hurry up and post more story. For those who know what I'm talking about I have graduated ET school. yay. And my permanent duty station will be in Norfolk, so there is a good chance I might meet you guys after my "C" school (which is in Florida). That should be a rather interesting exchange.
