My heart weighs heavy again...once again I must make a decision....
Question: Would you hold off....would you stay by someone's side.....if this person sais he/she could not give their heart fully to you b/c it belongs to someone else, even if that's not what they want, but have no control over apparently....?
*I care for someone very much, and she for me...but she told me recently that she cannot committ to me yet because the pain of her ex boyfriend lingers in her heart....and she believed it to be an unfair thing for her to ask me to wait around*
But I dont call it waiting around. I call it being by her side, to show her that I truly care, and that I would not treat her like her past heartbreaker....

Be there for her as much as you can. Show her that she means a lot to you and that you will always be the one to brighten her day. However, be mindful of your feelings and hers if someone else should come along. Be there for her but do not let her cloud your judgement. Mrs. Right could be the one walking bye as we speak.

I know...I think this time I'll really keep my wits about myself, because I believe she is truly genuine, unlike the unsavory riff raff women I've been with in the past. Shhe is worth sticking by....and whatever decision she decides to make, I shall support.

Shindo...you know thats what im going trough now...and no, there is only so much a heart can take.. My mother has always said (and no comments about Waterboy..LOL) If you love someone , set them free...If they love you , they will return...She told me again today..and i'm letting it all go.. as much as it hurts, I cant carry all this "drama" of "love" other than for my daughter and Mother at this time... and I know you have alot going on, just be careful!!, dont wait as I have done, just to get kicked in the ass...i love ya sweety...do what ever makes U HAPPY...and some how I think you should move on, we have talked about this...

Shindo, my friend... "You must do what you feel is right of course"... But let me offer you this consideration... if you are by her side at all times she may begin to regard you as a good friend and later on she may not want to risk losing your friendship in hopes of gaining something greater... Just thoughts to ponder...

Hey bro I know you have strong feelings for this. And you have to appreciate how honest she has been with you about her feelings. I say that you should take this as a chance to see what a real relationship can be like where you two care about eachother and nurture eachother. I know that with the simple fact that you..."wrapped up" means that this one is special to you. What I suggest is that you keep this going on your friends terms and let things go where they lead. But, and I hate to say this, if she has only been put in your path of fate to show you what a real relationship can be like and she is not your future herself be ok with that too my friend. Because I strongly feel that if you just go into this as an exploration of self and a chance to really grow you will come out so much happier than you realized. Either you will have her as your true love or you will keep her as one hell of a friend and realized what you two need from life and be happy. Best of wishes on this bro and I know how hard some of this is and the rest i can only empathize with.
