Slightly perturbed at the question, "Yea I was in the Clone Wars. I worked under the Jedi, covert ops." Gulps the firey liquid and looks directly in the eyes of the clone. "I watched my family get slaughtered by your **BROTHERS**." Now if you will excuse me gentlemen."

Titus looks at Alpha with disappointment. "You didn't know. His daughter was ran down by a speederbike. His wife and baby daughter were set on fire."

OCC: Torian was in his quarters resting, when you asked the question, that's okay though.

Padme Amidala & Hannes Vanepp on board the Millennium Falcon- Early morning-
~~~~~~~~
"...the system is too large and cumbersome that break ins are easy.We can disrupt the system giving us enough time to post.Each time the signal will be multi scrambled.The Imps trace back what they think are the points of origin and all they will find are dead ends. To fix the system would cost billions...and they're not going to do that. All their credits will be in the upkeep and maintance of the military.
According to my source, Dooku is indeed dead, but General Grievous is still among the living..if you want to call that life. Would you be willing to make an alliance with him, we have a ...common enemy."
"Heavens no, Han! Grievous is an enemy to the Republic. I will never make an agreement with him."
Vanepp leaned back in his chair.
"So much for Palpatine's slogan of peace, security, blah blah...the Empire will be hard pressed fighting 2 enemies."
"I don't mind Grievous keeping the Empire occupied. "
"You know, earlier, Senob and I were having an interesting conversation. He maintains that the clones being manufactured are going to become faulty. The original blueprint, the bounty hunter Jango Fett is dead.
Taking DNA from a clone of a clone is not going to cut it."
"Then they will find other blueprints."
"Or begin recruiting individuals. My source also promises a copy of the battle in the Ursa system. It seems the Imperials have perfected at last a cloaking device."
"A cloaking device requires much energy. I presume they can't remain cloaked for long, not with those gigantic ships. We will have to devise a system to detect a cloaked ship and a weapon that will persuade them that cloaking is useless."
Vanepp chuckled and poured another cup of java for each of them.
"Lack of sleep always make you think in such a way?"
"Huddled over a table all night talking how to break into the net,your mad schemes of psychological warfare..I think I'm going to start babbling complete nonsense."
"Hey we are not strong enough to take them on like the Seps did in Ursa. But we sure can make ole prune face gain a couple more wrinkles and make him leery of the shadow just beyond . "
IC: Lord Darth Vader, R.U.
LOCATION: Throne Room of the New Imperial Palace
It was pointless to sit. Ridiculous armor! It irritated him and he looked to the troopers and smiled wryly, white bugs to his black, poor men. He couldn’t bring himself to call them clones. It seemed…an affront to the Force! Through the clone wars he’d met many who had through their experiences, individuated, yet he knew, inspite of this development, the Force made itself present in all, they were held in control by their function. He stood hands held behind his back and he watched the gray-black pinnacle grow larger till they were docked and the troopers stood at attention as the Red Guard uncrossed their pikes.
Passing into the sanctum in silence, he made of himself a stone, and Anakin found his place deep inside. No emotion! Upon this peak, it was best not to fight the cold. “Master,” he said quietly bowing his head and as he knelt. For all the paternalistic protestations of the previous morning, kneeling was expected. Lord Vader noted Sidious had been waiting, and with casual ease, the Master kept his upon his eyes upon his holoprojector. Rising, Vader stood quiet in body and mind, a wall about that inner place. The deep shadow fell as the gray glare of morning was shut out and the holoimage intensified casting a green glow upon the ruined face of Palpatine. Vader breathed deeply, his jaw set and regarded the strange structure, and walked forward without thinking; the spider’s web of that ball, the regular grids, the perfect edges.
The silence was broken finally with Sidious' rasp, …"Lord Vader. Behold. It has been found."
The stoic posture drained, Vader leaned in, his lips parting, “Dear Mother…they must not be allowed to complete this.” He turned to gauge Sidious’ interest. The thought of the thing was abomination to Vader, but he knew already what the Master intended. If Grievous’ ship was a sign, this accomplishment would put systems in unspeakable peril and the Empire would likely not survive the simple fear this would inspire.
Turning back, the young Sith began to circle the image, the green glow showing the dark lines and hollows that marked the strain he’d been under. Vader swallowed pressing his lips together. “Who knows of this? What resources can they have after the Wars? This has to be absorbing what reserves the CIS have, a weapon this powerful,” and he could see in the inferred engineering, just what kind of energy and time was required for such a weapon to fire. This was enormously costly any way one looked at it.
“We must be able to destroy or capture it, Master. Grievous is not known for sparing a resource! He would as soon destroy a world as put it to good use.” The Master regarded him with steepled fingers and Lord Vader returned his gaze to the weapon, considering the terrible import.
After his tenth shot of rotgut, the burning sensation is gone. I did fight the clones when they cracked. Just because I think your okay doesn't mean I want to take hot showers with ya into the wee hours of the morning. You'll do alright here Alpha, just keep your nose straight. The Grand Moff sat silently in his dining room, slicing a piece of namana fruit in half. The Bakuran fruit was indeed quiet delicious, especially when coupled with flapcakes and milk. He lifted the glass of the blue liquid to his lips and took a sip. Today, there would be some work, and then hopefully preparing for the meeting he was to have.
As he continued to stare out of the windows that adorned one of the walls of the dining room, he heard a knock at the door as a grey clad officer came in. "Sir, Fleet Intelligence, Alpha Encoded. Gleaned from a secure transmission from the Emperor."
The Officer strode over, bowed, handed the Moff the diskette, and walked out.
Tarkin slid in the diskette and saw it was a security holorecord of a holo chamber in the Heart of Durasteel, Admiral Motti's ship. He watched as a man he did not know, an Imperial General it seemed, began speaking to the Emperor about how he had found Grevious' weapon around Kalee. The Grand Moff's eyes narrowed as he listened to Encantor's whole message. Then when the diskette was finished playing, the Moff went up to the projector, took the diskette, snapped it in half, and threw both pieces into the roaring fire of the local lit fireplace. To be in posession of such a disk was of course treasonous.
"Anything else for me Captain?" Tarkin said, pressing the comm to the outside room where the Captain should be.
"Yes sir. One second sir." the captain replied as he came in indeed it seemed like one second later with a paper in his hand. "Aurek Class Message from the Emperor."
Tarkin snatched the paper and read it. A meeting of the Fleet Chiefs? Ah, now he wanted to talk to the Chiefs of Staff.... When he needed them of course.
Tarkin nodded. "Inform the Emperor of my attendence." he said walking out of the room to the stairs to his personal chambers. The Captain gave another crisp bow and exited through the other way. As Tarkin climbed the stairs, he chuckled. Looks like he would have his meeting anyway. Not exactly the way he wanted, but it was a start.
Kessa sensed Sev'rance's condition long before she actually set foot in the MedLab. The Sith apprentice was hurting, but seemed to be otherwise doing all right. There was an undercurrent of anger there too, directed at whoever had managed to injure her.
When Kessa actually crossed the threshold of the MedLab along with Grievous, and saw Sev'rance, she kind of winced. The Chiss didn't look so hot, though Kessa could tell she was on her way to recovering. Sev'rance was a fighter, she'd be all right.
"Sev'rance? Are you alright?" Grievous asked of the recovering Chiss. Kessa could sense his slight confusion at the question he just posed, his realization that he hadn't asked something like that in a VERY long time. The Lunarian just sort of nodded to herself, what she'd taken upon herself to do for Grievous had actually helped, and there was the result. Him caring enough to want to know how Sev'rance was doing.
Deciding to speak up herself, Kessa said, "Yeah, what he said. Sure, you don't look so good now, but I'm sure you'll be up and kicking ass again in no time." Her voice took a slightly nervous tone as she looked to Grievous. "So, do you want to tell her or should I?"
Location: The Throne Room
“Dear Mother…they must not be allowed to complete this.” Vader said with natural disconcertion.
Then the understandably staccato presentation of the questions and assertions.
“Who knows of this?
What resources can they have after the Wars?
This has to be absorbing what reserves the CIS have, a weapon this powerful . . .”
“We must be able to destroy or capture it, Master. Grievous is not known for sparing a resource! He would as soon destroy a world as put it to good use.”
"You are correct, my Apprentice. Of course we must capture the Death Star, but we must do so with great care. This prize will not be so easily won." Sidious said meditatively.
Pointing a swath around the Death Star, Sidious called attention to the sizable fleet guarding the station. Fully, a large percentage of the rest of the CIS fleet. "There is a fleet of considerable consequence guarding the station and its construction. Also, let us not forget so easily the Ravager that sits at point on the other side of Kalee. Damaged she may be, but not destroyed and she is under repair even as we speak." Sidious said.
"As for your other questions, I know of this as does the intelligence officer who reported it to me. This was the reason I wanted the Ravager to escape. Since my intelligence agent knowingly transmitted this data from Admiral Motti's flagship in Ursa, then that means that Motti, Tagge, and especially Tarkin now know already of the Death Star's existence, as was my intention. I doubt others would know at this point. Such information is too powerful a card to play when the playground stands empty." Sidious tapped the armrest of his chair as he thought through the mechanacians.
"It would not matter much if others in High Command did know already. They will know within the hour anyway as I have called the Chiefs of Staff to an Audience below." Sidious said simply.
"Who made it and how it was made are two questions answered with one simple answer: the Republic made it." Sidious persed his weazened lips together as he regarded the holographic Death Star now in closeup.
"Or rather Republic resources made it. As Chancellor I spent quite a bit of research and development money for various . . . covert projects for the war effort." Sidious informed.
"Much of the resources for this particular project were to go to a massive 'super star destroyer' project that would never see space, or reality for that matter. Dooku managed to . . . wrest Operation Saving Star from me. A part of his treachery, you see. A galling one I might add." Sidious's eyes went to slits at that.
"The Senate would never have approved a budget for so large a project, so I had to use fronts that would get support to acquire what I needed." Sidious continued.
"I managed to acquire quite a bit of support for my R and D projects, actually. Enough even for this . . . second Death Star you see here." Sidious let that hang in the air. He chuckled at Vader's bewildered look. Sidious was glad that one of his visions had not come to pass. The one where Vader's face had to be imprisoned in a metal mask for the rest of his life. Sidious found no end to the enjoyment of watching Vader's expressions change from shock, to awe, to 'stony' stoicism, back to shock again. Delightful boy, really.
"Indeed, Lord Vader, this one's smaller prototype orbits near the Maw Instillation where you acquired your flag ship. Unfortunately, as compaired to this monstrosity you now see orbiting Kalee, The Killing Moon is not much more than an artificial asteroid. But, it does have quite a few armaments that may give us an edge against the CIS's Ravager Class starships." Sidious would have given Vader a mirthful look if his ruin of a face were capable of such things anymore.
"Come my friend, its time to let the rest of our Empire's military in on our little secret." Sidious beconed Vader to join him on the dais upon which both would descend into the Auditorium below.
IC: Atrus
Location: Kamino/ flash back
Atrus awoke from yet another chain of nightmares; nightmares he been having since he returned from his last detail and found the carnage in the Jedi Temple. Where...where was he? He rubbed his eyes and began to focus in the aquatic dark. Yes, he was now on Kamino. His flight to Kashyyyk following Master Yoda's coded direction brought him a sad knowledge. The Wookies, once brave and fierce warriors, were now subjugated by the Trandoshans!
Atrus hated them and now in the quiet dark of his room, he let that feeling permeate him. "No, no," he said in frustration and he sent a bowl flying to smash in a million ceramic shards against the far wall, remembering what he saw on the far side of the planet Kashyyyk. Imperial Star Destroyers flanked by once Republic V wings. The new model Star Destroyers were not like the VEnerator class he had used many a times in the wars, but larger and more powerful. Atrus wanted to go in and out in a matter of seconds and that was all the time he had, for not long after his discovery of the Imperial presence, though he had no knowledge that Palpatine had declared himself Emperor, he landed confused at what the "Republic" was doing. Why were they allowing the Wookies to be enslaved after they had fought so bravely.
In the deep overstory of a Kashyyyk forest, the daylight almost blocked completely, Atrus wondered. Not sign of the Jedi! What had happened? Had they been found? Were they dead too? Suddenly his comm beeped softly amid the forest chatter of exotic birds and primates. It was an encoded, and from ....Master Mundi! Someone had escaped! He was not alone. His heart beat widly as he received the message. So, they had gone to Kamino??? Kamino was supposed to have been destroyed, yet there were the coordinates. Quickly, Atrus tore through the underbrush and pratically flew into the cockpit, he hurriedly commanded the astro-mech to lift off and punched in the coordinates. He could see he was leaving not a moment to soon, when, suddenly, over the far lake, two TIEs can screaming through. "No, R-4, engaging them now would be disaster. Let's hover!" Atrus held his breath. Then when they had passed beyond the horizon, the young Jedi directed his aethersprite shooting out of the dark forest cover and streaking through the azure, he left for Kamino.
He had to speak with someone about his eyes. Normally blue, it seemed to him at times, when he caught his reflection in the ports of transparasteel, that they shown yellow and red. It unnerved him. What was happening to him? He felt lost and restless.
He rose quickly, almost flinging himself from his bed and walked about as he ran a trembling hand through his hair. A walk, a walk would do him good. The bright corridors of the Kaminoan structure bothered him, irritated him and soon he was out in the sea air. The sea churned in great waves about him. They rolled toward the landing platform and slapping the piers, sent engulfing washes of spray 20 meters over his head. It was bracing out here. He wrapped his cloak about him and lifting his face skyward, breathed in heavily. His mind seemed to clear a bit and he smiled for the first time in...well, a long while.
He could almost be happy; like the feeling he got flying! He lived for it. The flight from Kashyyyk to Kamino had been long, but he felt at home behind the throttle. Anakin's Starfighter was a marvel to fly, to be sure! The craft was wonderful, and he would pay for not destroying it, thought Atrus with irony. Atrus' black tunic slapped in the wet wind. He turned onto landing bay to check the ship and the small red Astro droid whom he had named R4-P14d rolled foward to meet him whistling a happy cheer. "Hello old friend have you seen Master Yoda," Atrus asked. The droid projected a holo display of Yoda's location in a small room on a lower level. "Thanks R4 go inside. You don't want to malfunction!" Atrus felt a small comfort in R4.
The little green domed astro-mech had been, in a way, a friend since he had taken off. Atrus stode down the corridor to find Master Yoda. Along the way he was visited by memories his Master Tado, now dead. He had never been a great father figure or a brother or friend like Obi wan seemed to be for Anakin, but he had been a fine Jedi, noble, and gracious. They had had their difficulties, but it was a horrible indignity for him to have parrished so.
The vision of that great Jedi, lying on the floor scorched and riddled with blaster holes.
Sevrance breathed and was somewhat suprised to hear Grievous asking how her condition was. Sevrance made nothing of it though, for it would only make things worse than they already were. Sevrance was not going to question Grievous's actions and intentions or words.
"I'm alright besides the fact I died and came back. I am just waiting for the recovering to be complete as I am tired of lying around doing nothing. It's not my job to do this, but there is nothing I can do now," Sevrance replied fighting for air and strength to speak as she had spoken to no one in a long time.
Sevrance's eyes adverted to Kessa after she asked the question of who should tell her whatever news they had.
"I would like General Grievous to tell me this news you know of if you don't mind Kessa," Sevrance spoke calmly and hoped she did not affend the woman. Sevrance did not wish to, she just only wanted to hear the news from someone she knew better.
I exchanged a brief look with Kessa per Sev'rance's request; it worked for me. I was actually torn between the decision of letting Kessa speak since she had felt the Sith Lord's death, or taking the liberty myself seeing that I was the true head of the Confederacy - more so now than ever.
I kept my silence for a moment. I wasn't sure if Sev'rance would take such news lightly, especially in her current condition. Yet I knew that if she didn't get anything out of us, she would become irritated nonetheless. So I told her simply and bluntly.
"Our master Darth Tyranus is dead.
Sevrance soaked the words in, the sound waves traveled through her ears. The adrenaline her blood began to race. Her breathing sped up and her scarlet eyes glowed even more brightly. Her fists grew tight and many glass items crashed to the ground and things flew about. Sevrance's anger even brought a droid into the air and crushed it. This was the only way she could show her anger and fustration. She controlled herself as she was still recovering. Sevrance could not scream or yell or else it'd only ruin the recovering she had been going through.
Sevrance's eyes turned towards Grievous again. Her chest heaved heavily and rapidly.
"It was Vader wasn't it?" Sevrance assumed as she knew the things he had done and what he had done to her.
"Mmmm...," Yoda mused as he felt it too. He looked up at Aayla. "With Denni you will stay, General Secura. Investigate will I." He did not wait for a reply and stepped out into the hallway.
