IC: Calis Bane formerly known as Sin
Kalee - Geothermal Station - Volcano
Sin was breathing heavily as they made it to the ledge but he didn't have the luxury to look behind him as he kept his efforts in just concentrating on the molten lava.
He looked down whence they came from and saw the battle that was raging around them, Sin just blocked them out of his mind as he kept his arms outstretched and wishing he could blow his hair out of his face as it made his nose itch in annoyance.
“Exactly what… precipitated this eruption,” rasped Anakin voice from behind him. "You knew we had an assault planned ..."
Sin blew some of his hair away from his mouth. "Well in my experience, nothing ever goes to plan, my lord Vader." Sin said struggling with his main task at hands while trying make conversation with the Dark Lord if one could call it that in his position.
Sin returned his mind and something was nagging the back of his mind, it was almost as if someone was yelling out to him but he could see who.
He then heard Vader shout Revan's name. So his father was near by than he thought but....that also meant Umbrus was too! Sin wanted to call out but then his eyes caught something that was moving sluggishly on the "safe zone" that both Sin and Vader created on the way to the top. It took its time to move as if it were an old man with a walking stick. But this was something far from human, if it weren't for the smoke, ash and the dust along with the winds of battle, Sin would see it clearly but he couldn't maintain eyesight for long as he returned his sights to the lava on either side of him.
Sin could almost hear faint sounds in the Force but it was weak to his ears and then he heard Vader once more. "No, no, no, no, no," growling in frustration, something is preventing him from accessing his father. I wonder what though, he thought?
And then all of a sudden a huge weight was added on top as Vader dropped his efforts in maintaining the lava flow and putting his efforts someplace else and suddenly Sin buckled under pressure after creating a balance was now on one knee and really digging deep to keep this flow from gobbling him up!
And then an situation presented itself in the form of that thing that was moving up towards Sin earlier. He recognized it immediately, it was the symbiote! Vader must of missed it or Sin didn't aim it well enough to get to Vader. Either way it was irrelevant now as it was just a feet away from Sin and closing.
"Hey little one, apologies for the hit and miss earlier." Sin said apologetically to the alien organic life-form. "His over there behind me, and be subtle little one. I will let him know." Sin said to the symbiote as it slithered its way to Vader's whereabouts.
Sin was breathing hard as beads of sweat were raining down on the ground before him. Dammit Vader, we almost had this in the bag and now you pull this!
"V..ader. I have brought something to aid you in your efforts. Since you have a natural affinity to living creatures, this is of the same species as my red cloak was before it was destroyed in the Volcano." Sin could only say as much as he strained to keep this lava from overflowing onto him. "And a little help wouldn't be too much to ask," He muttered to himself.
Just hope the symbiote will grow quick enough to aid Vader's efforts in which he could feel Vader's power pulsating and it was affecting Sin in some ways as his outstretched arms were almost changing shape as the skin became more prickly and very green and blackish.
Oh no! Not again.
"I thought I had this under control!" He spoke out in frustration now as these were the signs of his condition.
"Vader! Whatever your doing, do it quickly!! As your not helping the situation here! Beastie is about to be set loose at this rate!" He yelled out as he sucked in an air full of ash and smoke and coughed hard in reaction as blood spat out from his lungs.
The situation was dire not only for Sin but everything else that seems to be happening behind him!

IC: Hsur Hgubmil & Ms. Shilling
The Dead Zone, Hgubmil’s office
Quartermasters
Coruscant
The red light blinked off, indicating transmission was completed, and Hgubmil motioned Ms Shilling over.
“I want you to go back to the office, in the closet you will find body armor and a green duffel bag. Bring it back.”
“Should I also ask for a new trailer?” Ms Shilling nodded towards what was once their quarters in the Dead Zone. Huge boulder size duracrete had fallen upon the roof of the vehicle, crushing it.
“Nope to big of a target. Now once you bring the bag go home.”
“What’s in the bag?”
“My equipment when I was covering the Clone Wars.”
“My job description was your assistant, which means I stay.”
“Not in a war zone, and that’s what this has become.” Shilling noted the undercurrent of excitement in the holocaster’s voice.
“No, I’m staying.”
Hsur studied his assistant for a few moments in silence. His appraisal of his newest assistant was growing each hour.
“Then look what’s in the bag and go to Quartermaster, that’s in Quad 19, Building 45, 25th . Get duplicates for yourself. Take my HNN expense card, I’ve added your name to it.”
* * * * *
Ms Shilling found as Hgubmil described a green bag in the corner of his closet and the body armor hanging next to it. Carrying the bag over to a couch, the holocaster’s assistant opened and began going through the contents.
Among the items were the following:
4 inch durasteel sheath knife
Locater homing beacon
Emergency Food Bars
1st Aid Kit
Water tablets
Stun Spray
2 High powered Lightbeams
Respirator mask
Sleep bag
Self lighting candles
Potassium Iodate tablets
Mini Cam
3 Alderaan Mountain Stream Water bottles
Directional Finder
Black boots
Mini warmer
A back bag
2 communicators
Vector Charger
Hand Sanitizer
No rinse body bath
Comb
Whiskers Off
Macros
Twiss All In One Knife
Heat Stress Kit
Gloves
2 sets disposable clothing
Blaster Pistol
Night goggles
“Frizz! He has everything in here but the kitchen sink! No wonder he was the only holocaster not to be wounded! He’s a survivalist!”
Slinging the bag over her shoulder with a grunt, Ms Shilling grabbed the lightweight body armor and the HNN expense card.
* * * * *
“Can I help you Ms?”
Quartermaster was the ultimate survivalist dream store, taking up the entire 25th of the scrapper in one of the mega shopping areas of Coruscant.
You name it – Quartermasters had it! Quartermaster was popular with the DoomSayers, Survivalists, Bounty Hunters, and the quirky collector of weird and strange alien artifacts.
Quartermaster’s had every type of knife and blade for every occasion! (Rumor had it that Q’s even had a few lightsabers! How the store happened upon these collectables was unknown!) Hot climate gear, cold weather gear, camos, inflatable boats, portable generators were a few items which could be found in Quartermaster’s vast inventory.
Since the advent of the Empire , Quartermaster’s inventory of personal ranged weapons had vanished, leaving a huge empty wall space. (It was said for a price a weapon could be purchased ‘under the counter’ at considerable expense.)
The owner of Quartermasters a year or so after the creation of the Empire had painted on the wall where the weapons were once displayed a huge painting of Palpatine, benevolently gazing upon the customers.
(Some customers said it was Quartermaster’s subtle message that the Empire was watching! Their form of protest disguised as patriotism!)
“Yes, I’d like to purchase the following,” Ms Shilling began to read off the list of items she wanted to purchase.
The Pho Ph’eahian’s four arms were kept busy, punching in orders, sending droids scurrying about for the requests and packing in the green duffel bag.
Ms Shilling also added a few items as well to the list. She was sure Hsur wouldn’t mind.
This would be his largest order in weeks! The good natured Pho Ph’eahian rang up the final total.
“If you don’t mind me asking Ms are you going on an extended survival trip?”
“No,” came the reply. “The Dead Zone.”
The assistant’s blue fur stood on edge. “The Dead Zone! Oh no Ms, you don’t want to go there! It’s off limits. Haven’t you heard of the explosion, it was on HNN. Hsur Hgubmil reported it!”
“I was there when the building imploded.”
“You were!” His reply was a combination of awe and admiration.
Ms Shilling nodded placing in one of his four hands the HNN Expense Card.
“You work for Hgubmil and HNN!...” He leaned closer “Tell me, are the legends true? Are there mutants and monsters?”
“Haven’t seen any.”
“I have something you may be interested in Ms…one moment please.” The Pho Ph vanished into a back room. While waiting, Ms Shilling made a call.
“Hi!.....Yes, I’m fine. It was scary!.....No, we don’t know. I’m at a store called Quartermaster, buying literally everything one needs to survive in a war zone.” Shilling listened for a minute and replied. “Yes, I know. You should have seen him kick it into first – I was impressed.”
The assistant came back.
“I have to go now. Ta.”
“This is very old and the only one Quartermaster has.” The Pho Ph opened the clear plastic container and took out the disc. “This is a map of the Dead Zone area, one week before the accident, and …” He slid the disc into a reader. A holographic map of the streets of the Zone appeared, showing parks, scrapers, schools, entertainment areas etc. “Punch in the code and see…one month later…”
Holo pics of buildings overlapped showing the damage.
What is very unique is the map of the Underground – all 60 levels.”
“I thought there are only 50.”
“Not in the Dead Zone,” he whispered. “This shows ancient ruins…dating to prehistory.”
“Are you sure this is authentic?”
“It was brought in a few years ago by an old xeno-archaeologist, Dr Carones.”
“I’ve heard of him. Read his book on the mummies of Zaniaotek.” This would be something Hgubmil would be interested in.
“How much?”
“5,000.”
“5,000, I could buy a ship with that!”
Shilling and the Pho Ph bantered back and forth for a few minutes and settled on 3600.
“So who is responsible for the explosion?” he said placing the expensive map in the bad.
“The Imperials are investigating. Just stay tuned to HNN.”
To Be Continued…

IC: Behind Vader and Sin
Location: The Vestibule of Hell . Kalee
"It is too late for him, my Love. Come away, now. You suffer needlessly...as you have for far too long." Her deep feminine voice was warm and soothing but filled with great concern for Anakin. In it was a twist of Ursean...ever so soft and vague...like the accent of one who had not spoken her native tongue for too long.
"Revan has found Peace...it is time that you did too." She said with the squeeze of tears at the back of her throat.
The acrid air around Anakin parted allowing for a fresh breeze.

IC: Master Yoda, Padawans Irisa and Roland, the Darth Unlucky
Location: Hyperspace
Yoda’s downcast expression brightened as words as ethereal as mist caressed his senses.
His head came up. “Sense that do you?”
He did not elaborate. It was like doing something. His padawans were jedi.
They would sense the departed Fei’Ona’s presence.
Or, they would not.
There was no middle ground.
Irisa started to smile too. “Yes, Master. I feel her. She is telling us not to mourn.”
From the corridor behind them, in the shadow of the defunct Navigation Station (those functions had long been re-routed to the cockpit), Padawan Roland demurred silently.
He wasn’t getting any of that stuff. If anything, he had the sense that dozens of oysters were looking up, and going, frag me, that’s a lotta lava!
He felt, wisely perhaps, that to give the experience voice, would spoil the atmosphere for the grandmaster and his fellow padawan.

IC: First Platoon, second squad and third squads, Big Bunji beachhead.
Location: Mygeeto
Twenty more snowtroopers of Snowstorm Force, headed aft from the hangar that their AT-ATs now occupied and dominated, through still opening double-sided doors, their magnetic boots allowing them to bend forward and stride into the visible hurricane as the atmosphere from the chamber now being exposed, fled past them into the hard vacuum of the hangar.
The numbers bringing up the rear brought two E-Web tripodal heavy repeating blasters, and their Eksoan power generators, the latter bearing more resemblance to civilian picnic beer coolers than anything else.
A hundred metres of dark trapezoid hallway was immediately beyond the doors, as the FPS (First Platoon – Sergeant) leading them, immediately dispatched three of his men to scout ahead to the bright light at the far end.
“Walk! Don’t run.” He barked at the eager soldiers, chagrined at their uncautious haste, then ignored them to start situating the rest, assigning cover points, where to put the E-Webs, etcetera.
A ship this size had to have hundreds, if not thousands of security droids, and though it might take some minutes to get them from where they were, to the hangar, they would soon arrive in force.
Ahead, the three troops emerged from the darkness of the hallway into a gargantuan chamber with a ten metre lip of metal that suddenly dropped away with Beggars Canyon proportions, and the ceiling was several decks above.
Straight ahead, a multi-tiered system of, well, it looked like a curtain rail gone mad, basically, and it stretched beyond sight.
“I think we’ve found Lord Vader’s monorail system.” That snowtrooper, FP4, activated his breather hood comlink and switched to the command frequency for his sergeant and the lieutenant back at the hangar, “Sirs, we have found the monorail system.”
“Good. See if you can work out how to reach the reactors, shield generators and the engines.”
“Yes sir. FP4, out.” He turned to see FPs 7 and 5 studying a wall chart at the side of the hallway entrance, so that their backs were to him and Curtain Rail Wood.
Before the multicoloured chart, a rectangular arrangement of different coloured lines, marked out with ‘stations’ in the manner of many a cities’ maglev (magnetic levitation) train network.
“Guess organics don’t come down hear much.” FP5 opined, raising a finger to point out that rather than words, the station names were written in vertical barcode stripes. “This has been designed to be read by droids; we’ll need a reader.” He got onto his own comlink to request one.
Beside him, FP7 looked dubiously up at the chart as he reviewed his friend’s words.
“Read by droids? Why didn’t they just program the locations into the droids’ memory cores.”
Both missed a discreet red diode that had started to flash as soon as it had detected their presence before the chart, as some imaginative young Quarren had intended.
“Uh, guys?” FP4’s tentative call was ignored by the preoccupied soldiers as they traced gloved fingers over the barcode ridges on the chart, and tried to guestimate what the locations were.
“Guys? I think this could be important!”
FP5 and FP7 noticed the ominous grey shadows overlay themselves upon the chart at the same time, but they had no time to react before FP4’s smoking body slammed into and slid down the wall between them!
FP5 dropped his blaster rifle in surprise and bent to try to catch it before it clattered to the floor, the move saving his life, as the fusillade of crimson laser fire that cut FP7 in half flashed over him to set the chart alight.
The snowtrooper got a quick glance at the squad of Super Battle Droids emerging from the now arrived monorail passenger module, a silver windowless lozenge with a horizontal blue stripe broken only by the open doors, then scrambled in a half-run, half crawl along the wall, to the hallway entrance that led back to the others, chased by a red volley that chewed at the wall in his wake.
The sound of his comrade's gurgling echoing in his ears, FP5 fled round the corner, laserfire ripping into the tails of his cape, and purposely dropped a concussion grenade in his wake.
The FPS looked up at his running subordinate, the haze of smoke beyond the bright light of the far end blurring the horizontal laser beams slashing at the corridor wall.
Then the ominous top-heavy silhouette of a B2 battledroid, the SBD, stepped into view just as FP5’s grenade exploded by it’s deceptively thin legs, bringing down a section of wall and ceiling in a silent crash that buried the droid, but did not block the entrance.
Several more showed themselves, wrist lasers extended and aimed into the corridor. They approached, stepping unerringly over their fallen comrade.
“Enemy contact?” FPS enquired humourously as ‘5 arrived.
“Yeah, how’d you guess, Sarge’?” The startled trooper put his back to the alcove in which the sergeant was standing and tried to get his breath back.
“An eye for detail, me.” The sergeant tapped a finger against the part of his blank white face mask where his nose would be. Beside his hip, a crouching snowtrooper had his hands at the controls of a fully powered heavy repeating blaster; he rapped him on the helmet. “Fire at will.”
To be continued

IC: Anakin
LOCATION: a ledge on the side of a mountain . Kalee
Every particle of will and intent upon gaining Revan, Anakin only vaguely heard what it was Sin said, understanding more Sin had the temerity to impugn Anakin for the result of Sin’s own hubris and he gritted his teeth the more.
“If I did not need a caryatid at the moment, Sin, I would properly demonstrate my gratitude….” hissed Anakin through hot, fierce tears that seemed to dry as soon as they wet his cheeks, his words interrupted by the curious wafting of a chilled breeze, Mr. Sin’s observations and enjoinders suddenly blotted out by a still silence and the Ursean lilt of a warm and pliant voice.
"It is too late for him, my Love. Come away, now. You suffer needlessly...as you have for far too long…."
The blood red of Anakin’s sabre swung out of the crusting rock with a fiery spray of orange lava trailing behind and spattering with a cooling, steaming sizzle as the hot droplets fell to the ground.
Sin stood looking like a boy-At’alas, bending beneath the weight of his burden and speaking over his shoulder from the ledge where he stood looking out of at the wreck of Kalee!
The guardian’s lips moved, but the heavier cool air that surrounded Anakin seemed to still the din of battle as it did Sin’s voice!
Time pulled away, the world telescoped away from Anakin in a dizzying vertigo, the rocks and his own hand began to frost, and his breath came out in white mist the golden glare of molten magma now grey! He could hear his heart beat impossibly slowly.
What was this? What devilry was Sin up to? No, this couldn’t be Sin!
"…Revan has found Peace...it is time that you did too." came the warm voice full of persuasion and pathos.
Even in his frantic race to find the ancient wisdom and legend of his “father,” who larger than life could not in Anakin’s imagination simply parish in one fell moment, Anakin felt something familiar and oddly comforting and unsettling at the same time in “her” voice.
Anakin spun back to the rock face in a turn whose degrees pass in what seemed excruciating seconds, not believing this illusion! This had to be illusion! He felt the heavy press of the dark about him.
Raising his hands above his head, his sabre held, blade down, he roared as he swept them down and apart, “NOooooooooooo!” The glassy obsidian interior, the jagged porous crust flew apart as he wielded the Force before him like an axe in a tremendous blast of rubble, dust and splintering shards that stung his face as he winced and then suddenly glanced to either side of him, the ledge itself cracking and fissures opening to the weighted force and interaction of gravity, mass and distance.
Sin's urgent enjoinder to use the symbiote, unheard!

OOC: Sithy. That post gave me more pleasure than you know.
IC: Lords of Syth
Location: Before and behind
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!" Sidious gave voice to his full fury and the crisp fresh air was suddenly burnt to ozone.
Blinding thick bolts of lightning lashed out and his fingers seemed ot catch fire.
The net of Syth Fire encased the air bringing forth the unseen.
Umbrus' obsidian robes billowed out from its slight frame and crackled with Sidious's electric grip.
"huuuuuu....." Umbrus sighed quietly as if expelling a final breath as the lightning cut apart its robe and covered its form. The being sank from a hover to the ground seeming to wither.
Sidious's eyes lit like purple-white sparking stars as waves and waves of Dark Force ripped to shreds the Black Spectre. The heat coming off the raging torrent was nearly as bad as the hot blast from the volcano had been.
As a coup d'grace Sidious let fly, without touching it, his crimson blade, its spinning form turning into a blood red disk. The whirling blade seemed to neatly section through Umbrus and then imbed itself in the rock just beyond Sin's foot.
At the last, Sidious relented, gasping in gritting hateful exhaustion. The bolts ceased...
But...in the center of a ring of scorched earth left by Sidious's terrible assault, the negative of a figure seemed to lay, proping itself up on both hands...as the last of Sidious's lightning seemed to be swallowed up by the figure's blacker than black body.
She seemed to be a living shadow of an unclothed young woman...hair hanging before her face. Through the negative tassels of long hair two burning red slits could be seen in what must have been a face of a very comely shape. They looked up at Sidious...and stared through him.
A guttural sound that was not unlike a choking growl was emitted from the figure. The figure seemed to shake as if it were sobbing....or was it laughing?
The guttural sound then became clearly identified as deep heartfelt mocking laughter. She tossed back her ebony head, letting fly behind her shadowy hair, and let go a peel of laughter so full of such hateful joy and bottomless despair that Sidious found himself stumbling back and his face drop in horror.
"How....how is it possible? Nothing could survive....." Sidious mumbled.
The full hellish glare of Darth Umbrus fell upon Sidious and the Dark Lord felt an uncontrollable shiver run through him. He could see no features on that face as it was entirely blank blackness, but the corners of those eyes were turned up in dreadful amusement at his apparent folly.
"Why thank you 'Dark Lord'. I quite needed the refreshment...." The voice was ice. She extended a negative of a hand and sent Sidious's power back to him in one bright green blast worthy of a turbolaser bolt.
Sidious tried to leap away, but wasn't fast enough. He had spent his Force potential in his torrent. The bolt blasted the ground beneath him, sending him into unconscious flight. Darth Sidious landed some distance away...he lay deathly still.
"My gift to you, Syth filth. Sometimes Dead Is Better." She said as she came to stand.
She then turned to face Anakin.

IC The Sunwalkers ( R’Vard, Stasia, Sandie, Adio)
Their place of residence
Theed, Naboo
Professor Sunwalker had hurried home to an empty house. Lt Sturr had said her life partner, R’Vard and their youngest daughter Sandie would be released.
While every other citizen of Naboo was celebrating the return of Queen Amidala, Stasia paced the floor of the kitchen. It was not until after midnight when she heard the front door open to see her daughter and spouse.
With a joyful cry, Stasia embraced R’Vard and their daughter.
Crying, Sandie apologized over and over for going to the Imperials over the white haired old man.
“We will speak of this tomorrow, but for now are you hungry?”
Sandie confessed she was, and Stasia opening the cooler to see what was available, an heated the soup which they had had just 2 nights before.
R’Vard and their daughter eagerly consumed the soup, for they had nothing to eat since the Imperials took them.
After kissing their daughter good night, Stasia and R’Vard in the privacy of their sleep chamber, agreed they must tell their remaining two daughters the truth – before they were born R’Vard and Stasia had another daughter, one named Denni.
* * * * *
The family slept late and was awaken by the chime.
Sandie begged the door not be opened, but R’Vard quickly dressing went to the door. What he saw, caused him to call out to his life partner and youngest.
Adio. handmaiden to Queen Amidala II had come home.
* * * * *
Adio saw the weariness of her parents and how nervous her little sister appeared to be at times and wondered what had occurred.
It was after breakfast, when R’Vard asked the reunited family to gather in their small garden. Gardening was the hobby of many, and R’Vard delighted in the flowers which bloomed under his care.
“There is something which we have kept secret from the both of you. That secret has been the cause of our recent troubles.
R’Vard began the narration:
It was a little after we celebrated our first anniversary our first child was born, a little girl which we named Denni.
Sandie, even though there are but a few years difference between Adio and you, Adio was born in a different time. You , Sandie, do not have much memory of the Republic.
We were young when we married and so idealistic. At that time we thought differently than the great majority of Naboo. Do you know why there are so very, very few Jedi who could claim Naboo as their heritage?
According to a galaxy wide tradition, when a child was born, their medichlorean count was taken and if it was above a certain number, the parents were encouraged to give their child over to the Jedi to be trained.
But here on Naboo, families are so cherished; the numbers were falsified on the birth certificate.” R’Vard chuckled. “It seemed in all the galaxy the Naboo always seemed to have medichlorean count averaging 100. But we were honest and insisted Denni’s be recorded correctly.”
R’Vard stopped and looked to his wife, who took up the story.
It wasn’t long after a Jedi came calling, the same one you saw, Sandie, although he was a few years younger and his beard not as white or long. He convinced us to turn our daughter over.
We did so, and through the years we have come to regret our decision. The only way we could survive mentally was to pretend she never existed or had died.
We never told either of you for we simply believe you should not know.
Now, all these years later, the Jedi are hunted, and Denni is suppose to be out there somewhere alive.
After you informed Lt Sturr of the old man, Sandie, the Imperial officer hatched a plot thinking if Denni was with other Jedi, the Empire could kill quite a few in one big trap.
Taking both of you, was insurance that I would cooperate – only the Union did not do so and disobeyed a Code Yellow and was grounded.
Sturr was very disappointed that his plan collapsed but said both of you would be released, but promised we would be watched.”
Their two daughters sat silent for a moment, digesting all of what their parents told.
Adio asked if there was a holo of Denni, and R’Vard replied they had one when Denni was a newborn, but it pained them so to look at it, he destroyed the holo years ago in the fireplace.
“We can only pray for her now, and hope she continues to elude the Empire. But we know now we cannot put you both in danger for a daughter that we have never known.” Stasia said with determination in her voice. “We four are family and that is how we must remain.
Sandie, you must never, never tell anyone you had an older sister. Adio is your oldest sister, as you have always believed. Do you understand? “
Sandie, who had been quite traumatized by all of what had happened sat quietly and nodded her head. She had unwittingly placed her parents in danger, believing she was doing a good thing by reporting to the Imperials her belief that her parents were being threatened by a Jedi.
“But look!” R’Vard changed the subject. “Our daughter, Adio has returned to us. Tell us Adio of your time on Ursa with the queen.”

IC Saloh Onamor, Minister of Foreign Affairs
His office, Theed Palace Naboo.
Onamor arrived unusually early, for the queen wished for another council meeting today. He would try to get some work out of the way before they gathered.
After completing some routine reports, Onamor came upon the call from the Union, demanding to speak to Amidala. He smiled at their naivety.
“Computer, tape holo message addressing it to the sender.”
“Ready.”
Onamor put on his best, neutral diplomatic face.
“Good day. I am Saloh Onamor, Minister of Foreign Affairs to our freely elected leader, Queen Amidala II of Naboo.
The Union ship, with all crew aboard as well as your diplomat known as the Advisor has departed Naboo safely, after being escorted from our system.
We must adhere to galactic law pertaining to the safety of its citizens and ships. The Empire is currently in a state of war with the Confederation of Independent Systems and additional codes have been added to ensure the safety of all.
Currently there are only three beings in the galaxy that may have direct access to Her Grace, Queen Amidala. Those individuals are Emperor Palpatine, Lord Darth Vader and Grand Admiral Thrawn.
If you have any further questions pertaining the Union ship, Aquila, you may address them to me.”The Minister smiled. “I wish you good day.”
“Computer end transmission and send. Priority 3.”
Priority 1 was considered the most important, a matter of great urgency and was used only in emergencies.

IC: Anakin
LOCATION: a ledge on the side of a mountain . Kalee
The next had occurred with such precipitation and deadly fury, Anakin could not help but turn and dive to avoid being cleaved by the violet threads of Sidious’ hurled force-lightning that seemed to illumine a distinct female figure, an apparition of negative light who should have by rights, been jolted to fried cinders under such a punishing attack as had ended Jedi Mace Windu. Anakin knew full well of what Sidious was capable.
Yet, the apparition was not material, that much was revealed. It was no trick of Sin’s for certain. Wide-eyed, Anakin could not react fast enough to prevent Sidious’ fall if his soul had depended upon it! And he stood as he had stepped forward, drawn by the magnetism of his erstwhile mentor, but all in vain! His mouth agape, he was caught upon the horns of a dilemma and only able to reach out, partially shielding Palpatine from his bone crunching descent!
Underfoot, however, the cradling planet of Kalee was moving and the fissures incited by Anakin’s intent to get at his father were growing. The ledge shuddered and ground, rock on rock with a rending and deep rumble, the rock giving way, a wedge 40 meters by 100 tall began to shear from the mountain and the lava canopy overhead shifted as did he who was now alone in holding it up.
Precious moments fled! Anakin fell back toward the cave-like rift he had chiseled out of the hardened lava and found there only black fragmented stone of a crystalline hardness! The eerie cold seemingly had solidified the interior as well.
“What are you?” he whispered hoarsely at the thing that now was turning to him, Anakin’s footing slipping as the ledge began to fall and crumble, and he leaped now to the preternaturally hardened lava in which he gained a dubious hold, the sharp edges, tearing at his gloves.
Fragmented rocks and a hot cascade of lava began to pour over the domed block above, leaving a 30 meter distance between the face of the mountain and the lava fall, Anakin sequestered within the narrow obsidian "cave," he looked warily out, searching for the increasingly familiar apparition before following the cave further in after the signature he felt to still be present!

IC: Calis Bane formerly known as Sin and the Symbiote
Kalee - Volcano's Ledge
Sin felt like he aged the 77 lost years in that moment, he felt withered almost drained beyond reason and yet he was still maintaining his hold of the lava, without realising it, he was trying to cool the edges of the lava so the lava would stop spreading into him but it was a useless gesture on his part as he was spent, his body will give out sooner or later but Sin prefer it would be later. This was far from over and whatever was happening behind him was not helping his hold as he wanted to steal a glance behind him but the lava tried to sneak by his hold and returned his gaze back at the molten lava.
Sin tried to hear but all noise was sucked out of the air. He desperately wanted to know what was happening behind him, he could feel it he must be there but he couldn't. He frustrated at this being left out here and missing out on what was transpiring behind his back.
Meanwhile the black goo that was the symbiote moved in a stalking fashion towards its target which was hacking away with its lightsaber. The symbiote picked up the pace towards the man's leg but as soon as it was nearing a figure sprang forth as blue-white lightning were raining about the symbiote as it took cover in between cracks on the ground and waited until it was over.
There was a confrontation between two beings as the lightning dissipated into the darkness the symbiote moved slowly towards its host. Snaking its way towards him and then a loud push sound in the air stop it in its tracks as the man who created the lightning was flying off the ledge.
There was a shriek as the symbiote made its way to its host. The symbiote shifted its position to the right of its host. And then the ground began to part as the its host was now grabbing hold onto whatever hand-hold was provided to him. Now the black organic alien symbiote pounced, jumping through the various cracks and crevices and with a final leap onto the man's lower leg and finally latched with its black tendrils and now was coating itself onto its host. Its tendrils slithering and spreading about its back and then onto its front sifting through its clothing and was now fully covered over its host.
The goo became solid and skin tight around his body, making him look like he was wearing a black body suit.
Partner, we have entered your bloodstream, we are an alien creature that needs a host to survive. The host and I form a symbiotic bond where I share the nutrients and minerals of the host to survive while give benefits of our bond to our host which is you. The creature spoke to its host in his mind.
Sin was on his knees and looked like he was making a prayer to the gods as he stretched his arms on either side of him and looked up to the sky with strain as his body shook violently with his eyes closed facing upwards, his nostrils flaring, with mouth closed.
Then he started to mutter at a low voice and then the sounds were words, he was reciting his faith as if calling upon the Darkside to grant him his wish.
"There is no peace, there is anger."
The symbiote was shifting until Anakin's clothing was changing as the symbiote continuing its final phase of its bonding to its host.
"I’m part of you now, so I share the memory, knowledge, and some of the personality of the host. I grow more similar to you as time passes." The creature spoke to him again.
"There is no fear, there is power." Sin recited to the heavens.
The lava slowed considerably and then Sin opened his eyelids to the sky as he continued to recite the very thing he was first taught by his former mentor.
"There is no death, there is immortality." The thoughts of Arbor filled his mind as he pulled the trigger onto Calis in the Korriban lab as Calis looked at the shot on himself and fell face forwards on the hard cold floor of the underground lab. And then waking up within the ReConSu after his long slumber as he recited the verse.
"There is no weakness, there is the Dark Side." Sin felt the hot winds of the Darkside sweeping over him, through him, replenishing him once more and his scaly arms reverted back to human skin. The dust blew off him and his black covered face and arms were back to their pale white skin as his muscles flexed.
"I am the Heart of Darkness." And then Sin stood one knee and then lifted himself up and then with a final push the ground beneath the lava opened up all the way down and created a trench for the lava to sink in. And finally Sin brought his arms down and closed his eyes and breathed in and out slowly in long breaths and then opened his eyes once more and took his surroundings and saw the battle raging about and this was ironically calming for Sin.
"I know no fear, but rather I instill it in my enemies.
I am the destroyer of worlds.
I know the power of the Dark Side.
I am the fire of hate.
All the universe bows before me.
I pledge myself to the darkness.
Sin almost completed the recitation of his faith to the Darkside and he looked at the floor near his foot and it was a lightsaber, he used the Force to call it up and held it in his human-black gloved hand and he recognized the markings of its design and especially its small-sized handle. He looked about and saw no sign of Sidious. He stretched with his senses and also felt nothing. But how could this be, his presence was not hard to miss to Sin's sight.
He then turned around finally and walked a little distance and was at the ledges end as he saw what transpired well the after effects of what looked like a battle. He could see the lingering signatures in the Force, Sidious was here but vanished? And then his gaze followed the cracks on the left over ledge and upwards and found Vader in a cave-like shelter holding onto sharp edged rocks. And noticed his clothing has blacker than usual with an almost shine to it.
And then Sin's gaze followed to the wraith-like figure with red eyes. Sin knew who it was. She feeds of negative energy, as Sin realised as she burnt his symbiote within the Volcano. She will get a surprise soon enough.
Sin ignited Sidious's lightsaber and had the blade ignited downwards.
"For I have found true life, in the death of the light." Sin completed his recitation and he threw Sidious's lightsaber towards the shadow of the woman still ignited and Sin moved in the same direction but on a vertical Force assisted jump as he jumped up as much as he can go and he knew this was not a solid being by any means, one of Umbrus's ploys but it needed to be dealt with.
The saber was a momentary distraction as he called upon the positive energy of the Force into an orb. It was the same technique he pulled on Coruscant within Sidious's throne room when Umbrus made his first appearance to Sin and Sin barely made it out alive when his modified technique of the Battle-Meditation sucked in all the dead souls of the Jedi as well as ridding Umbrus's presence.
Sin created a smaller version no where near the size of the one he pulled on Coruscant, he just wanted to make a swift attack and be done with this distraction of Umbrus's.
With one stroke of his arm downwards, it was thrown with great speed as Sin began to descend and stretched his claw-hand into the rock as he was ripping down until his hand locked and stopped suddenly in pain and then could see the loose ledge that he saw Vader was recently on and was timing his landing and let go of his hold onto the mountain and landed onto the ledge barely as he reacted quickly enough to tip-toe inside the cave-like entrance.
He had a feeling this was just the beginning.......
.........of the end.

IC: Anakin
LOCATION: small cave made by his attempts to find Revan in the mountain-side
Stumbling against crystalline “walls” of his self-made cave, Anakin clutched at his throat, a claustrophobic, strangling closeness creeping quickly over his body as he heard Sin’s symbiote “speak” in his mind. Anakin fell to the glassy black floor and only vaguely was aware of the glare of fiery yellow that flashed brighter around a shadow that appeared at the narrow entrance. It was Sin, he knew that much though his vision was blurred. Rasping, Anakin clutched at the wall, his hand slipping as he tried to sit up, but his body was wracked with pain as suddenly the seed partners began to agitate within him.
Suddenly, the cave shook violently as the entrance fell away taking Sin with it. There was no time for him to react or call upon the darkside. Anakin, though writhing in pain with the “battle” waging inside him, watched as the rock slide sheared off the entrance, leaving the bright and somehow beautiful vista of sheeting yellow lava beyond, a good 5 meters of the entrance gone, and very little between himself and the new opening!
An odd silence reigned as he lay back upon the warm floor and blinked hard at the grit in his eyes, his body burning inside with the strange and mysterious action of the seed partners which expelled the well-intentioned symbiote. Apparently, there was not enough “room” in Anakin’s body for more than they, and being the more entrenched, the Sekotan remnant secreted a powerful enzyme which repulsed the symbiote tentacles and the black symbiote was sloughed away and pulled from Anakin’s flesh hand with a sharp and excruciating ripping sensation.
“Ahhhhhhhhhh,” cried Anakin, once again able to breath though the air was anything but wholesome!

IC: General Torian
Location: flight deck of Yavin IV
Torian listened as the pleasantries were passed back and forth. Once they were finished and the Jedi were escorted to their new home, MonMothma asked politely in her political voice, “Shall we then retire to the conference room, gentlemen?”
The General picked back up his duffle bag and threw it across his shoulder. “By all means, after you Senator.” He was still not comfortable calling her by her first name, maybe later on down the road, he would get to know her better.
They all walked together with very little fanfare to one of the main temples that contained the underground meeting room.
Torian breathed in deeply, taking in the humid, jungle air. The sounds of the jungle began to increase in volume as they walked further away from the reverberation of engines.
The shadow of the temple loomed over the group as they neared. Walking up to the entryway, the guards saluted with military precision. The military personnel within the group saluted back and continued on inside. The humming of computer fans and motors began to fill their ears along with the muffled talk of other Rebel personnel.
The hallway was long and not well-lit but just enough to avoid any tripping. More guards greeted them at the entrance of the elevator. The escorting sergeant of the group handed over a holo-card which was inserted into a computer. The light on top of the workstation turned green, signaling that everyone had checked out. Two at a time the members of the Rebel council and military command were sent hundreds of meters below the temple foundation to the meeting room.
Newly appointed Commodore of the Katana fleet, Garm Bel Iblis was already inside preparing the meeting with the yeoman.

IC Queen Amidala II
Her Suite, Theed Palace
Naboo
“Today was a triumphant return, Your Grace, a day all of Naboo will remember!” gushed Cassio, one of her new handmaidens, as Amidala sat in front of her dresser, Cassio brushing the chestnut colored tresses.
The queen smiled faintly. Sabe was not use to all the accolades and acclaims.
“We shall see in the coming days, if I warrant such praise. Thank you Cassio that will be sufficient, “ dismissing the handmaiden’s care.
Amidala stood and thanked Inia and Cassio for their attendance and wished them a good evening.
As the door closed and she was at last alone for the remainder of what was left of the night, Amidala retrieved from her desk the macros. Opening the double doors the queen stepped out onto her private balcony. The night air was a mixture of the aromatic flowers in the gardens below and the odor of charcoal and sulphur from the old fashion fireworks display.
She aimed the macros heavenwards, adjusting for distance and when the macros had done so, Sabe was able to make out the very faint shapes and blinking lights of the Imperial fleet stationed in the heavens above Naboo.
“Just exactly why are you here? Why an entire fleet to guard Naboo?”, she whispered.
To Be Continued…
