GREEN PROJECT II: Servants of Order and Imperial Law
Marna_Veign
Security Office, Cavalet, Madrine
There was no sign of the woman within the Security Office. The Inquisitor was hardly surprised. For all he, or anyone else knew, his target could be anywhere within the Palace. With a glance at the Palace Guard, and a subtle, albeit suggestive nod, he made his intentions clear. To the boy he said, "Why don't we wait outside?"
He and the boy left Wren within the Security Office. While waiting within the hallway, the Inquisitor probed gently for any sign or sense of bright spots and focal points within the Force. It was not too unlike searching the night sky for a particular star or constellation. One was able to perfect the technique over time, particularly when that time was devoted almost entirely to such a pursuit.
The boy looked up at him curiously. "Who is your friend?" he asked quietly.
"You will see soon enough," responded the Inquisitor, knowing better than to give anything away.
Meanwhile, Wren asked the staff stationed within the Security Office whether they had seen any signs of unusual activity. "Have we had any suspicious guests, anything I should watch out for?" he questioned, even as he checked the display screens and security monitors for a possible bead on Marna.
It would be easy enough to strike up a conversation while he took measure of the Jedi's location. Better still, he'd be able to track her movements and use them in his efforts to intercept her. Whatever the case, he knew time was against him, for the Empire rarely enjoyed waiting.

As the Force would have it, the man proved to be a healer and caretaker. He applied all his skills and knowledge in tending to Ruhtra's wounds. It took two full days before Ruhtra was able to walk on his own feet, and even then it was with some degree of difficulty. Despite that, both Vale and he knew that they had to keep moving lest those that pursued them pick up on their trail.
For the two days they remained within the apartment, Vale was offered food and words of warmth. The healer was generous with his time and possessions, always available to share his thoughts and offer whatever else he might be able to. In a similar capacity, he bandaged Ruhtra's more serious wounds, and applied lotions to the bruises the Knight had suffered from.
Given time, the wounds would heal on their own. "You're recovering rather rapidly, which is remarkable considering some of those injuries," the healer said. Little did he know that Ruhtra was applying his own healing techniques through the Force.
"We're grateful for the refuge you have offered us. And, I am in your debt for the healing you have given me. Is there something I might do to repay your kindness?" Ruhtra said, having decided it was time to move on. But, the healer wished for nothing in return. He simply left Vale and Ruhtra alone so that they might gather their things and take the leave they so dearly desired.
Once they left the apartment, however, Ruhtra spoke freely. "We're in danger so long as I remain in this condition. Leaving Coruscant will be extremely difficult, and we cannot be sure we will not be followed." He suggested that they find another place to lay low while they developed a plan. "I will need to locate our hunter so that we can stop him. And, we should seek to help those others who suffer, not simply because they helped us in our time of need, but because it is the right thing to do."
Ruhtra hardly noticed it, but since his injury, and perhaps long before, he began to treat Vale as his equal. Though he would always remain her protector, and feel responsible for her safekeeping, he had often taken leadership without asking for her thoughts or comments. He acted as he saw fit, doing what he felt was best for them both. These days, he deferred to seeking Vale's happiness all the more, and acted in ways that she was most comfortable with, or asking of.

Something was wrong. Calmand and Nizzal had left their place of hiding in order to meet with Luke Skywalker, but the Jedi Master was nowhere to be found. Calmand did not feel at threat, and he certainly detected no sense of danger to either Nizzal or himself, but the absence of their friend proved reason for concern.
They waited a while longer, deciding to eat alone so as to keep up appearances. Dressed as locals, and dining within an establishment watched by Cassie, there seemed little need to worry. Yet it was all Calmand could do as he finally suggested they leave and attempt to contact the Jedi Master directly.
Once outside the establishment, Calmand walked with Nizzal toward the spaceport. He drew his comlink to make contact with Luke, only to meet an engaged signal. "We have few options available to us," Calmand said to Nizzal, his words soft. Even as he spoke, he stretched out with his feelings, constantly searching for any sign of his expectant visitor. Likely Nizzal was doing the same. Calmand simply hoped that she had greater success than he in the effort.
Having found nothing, he soon withdrew his thoughts and feelings to himself, choosing instead to scan his surroundings. Street traffic had peaked by that time, with many locals wandering about. Calmand spotted a few scantily clad native females, and males alike, and felt himself blush as he turned away. It was then that he noticed another couple walking toward them. The man was many years Calmand's junior, as was that man's feminine companion. They were clothed in all the right places, and slipped through the crowds with ease.
Calmand sighed as he turned back to Nizzal. It was about time the twi'lek and he should begin passing through the crowded street, too. There was obviously no sign of what they sought in the streets. "We should head back and see about making contact from home," he commented.
"And, miss the opportunity to greet your visiting friends?" said the male Calmand had spotted only a moment earlier. "We were so looking forward to hearing your recommendations as to the best forms of local entertainment," added the red-headed female.
Dumbstruck at the sight of Luke and Mara, and their complete disguises, Calmand knew not what to say. Luke hardly appeared himself, and Mara no different. They were more youthful, and Luke's hair was jet black, complete with a matching goatee. "Very clever," Calmand conceded, as he glanced from the newcomers to Nizzal.

That story based on this game is already worth the read. I'm loving it, and all that has been in it is Zedd's assignment to the Rebels on Raltiir. A good way to pass time, and I so look forward to reading more! Meanwhile, I'm going to give LS_A more stuff to work with.
GREEN PROJECT II: Servants of Order and Imperial Law
Wren and Inquisitor, Palace Security Office, Cavalet, Madrine
The Inquisitor was not surprised that the Jedi woman was not at the Security Office. The Palace was a fairly large place, and she could be anywhere. He glanced at the guard and said to the boy "Why don't we wait outside?"
"Suspicious guests," one of the other guards stated, "I would say no to that. But there is a new guard on the beat." he told Wren. "What was her name?" he asked, turning to another guard.
"Jeni Childs." The second guard replied. "The Captain is taking her on her rounds right now."
While the two guards spoke with Wren, he looked over the security monitors carefully. He hoped to be able to track her movements and use them in effort to intercept her. He knew time was against him, for the Empire rarely enjoyed waiting.
Marna Veign (Jeni Childs) - on her rounds
From the galley, Captain Smyth took Marna to some of the areas she remembered from the last time she had been there years before. They stopped at the Brig where Crown Prince Imalka had been held in protective custody for a time, then to the Infirmary where she'd spent some time herself after her rescue. The memories started coming back of her close encounter with death, and she pushed them aside with slight difficulty.
Avin saw Marna's face as she supressed the memories, and knew that something was going on inside her mind. He had always admired the young Jedi for all she was able to do at such a young age. As they left the Infirmary, he turned to her.
"Why don't we take a break from this. Meet back at the Security Office in a half hour. Maybe get a bite to eat or some air in the Gardens?" he offered.
"That sounds good, Sir." Marna replied. I think I will take a bit of a walk. See you back at the Security Office in a half hour." she confirmed.
With that, they parted ways for now. As she watched Avin walk away down the hall, she felt relief that she was able to have a break. All the years that had passed, and being back in the Palace has brought back memories. And not all were good ones.
Marna wandered the halls to the dueling room Crown Prince Imalka and his advisor had made her fight for her life in, under the guise of being a test of her skills. She decided that she had to work out these feelings and memories if she was going to stay on Madrine.

BLUE PROJECT TWO: Path of Darkness
Nizzal
Zeltros
Calmand and Nizzal had left their place of hiding in order to meet with Luke Skywalker, but the Jedi Master was nowhere to be found. Nizzal however was not worried. After all, they were hiding. It would make sense that Master Luke might wish to keep himself cloaked, until he could assest what was indeed going on. Calmand and she decided to eat alone, going to one of the many places that Cassie watched over. But Nizzal could feel Calmand's aprehension of the situation. Whatever Calmand was doing, Nizzal kept herself well cloaked within the Force, her shields tightly around her, even as she smiled, and kept up apperances.
They waited a while longer, until Calmand finally suggeste leave and attempt to contact the Jedi Master directly. Nizzal sighed softly. "Perhaps, he thought indescresion was more warented." she stated gently, as they rose from their seats, and left. Once outside the establishment, Calmand walked with Nizzal toward the spaceport. He drew his comlink to make contact with Luke, only to meet an engaged signal. "We have few options available to us," Calmand said to Nizzal, his words soft. Nizzal touched his arm. "Dont worry. I hvent felt anything wrong. Im sure things are fine." she said softly, as they began to walk about the streets.
Street traffic had peaked by that time, with many locals wandering about. Calmand spotted a few scantily clad native females, and males alike, and felt himself blush as he turned away. Nizzal saw his blush, and she simply smiled as she held his arm, to make sure he didnt receive any offers he didnt really want. Calmand was first to noticed another couple walking toward them. Nizzal was about to reply, when a voice interrupted her.
"And, miss the opportunity to greet your visiting friends?" said the male Calmand had spotted only a moment earlier. "We were so looking forward to hearing your recommendations as to the best forms of local entertainment," added the red-headed female. Nizzal knew the voices instantly, and her grin turned into a wide smile now, as she looked at the beings in front of her. Dumbstruck at the sight of Luke and Mara, and their complete disguises, Calmand knew not what to say. Luke hardly appeared himself, and Mara no different. They were more youthful, and Luke's hair was jet black, complete with a matching goatee. Nizzal's lekku twirled in delight, as she looked them over. She mused to herself, it was a good look. "Very clever," Calmand conceded, as he glanced from the newcomers to Nizzal.
Nizzal laughed softly. "Welcome to Zeltron. Glad you could make it." She replied, giving a slight pause. "Oh, and Zeltron has some very ah, intersting forms of intertainment." She said with a sly grin, as she patted Calmand's arm. She then smiled. "But, I do know of a wonderful club, that has many forms of entertainment." she purred softly, giving a wink. After waiting a beat she turned slightly. "The club is just down this way. And it will give us a chance to speak more privately." Nizzal spoke softly, as she gestured, trying not to smirk as she and Calmand began to walk.
This was going to take some explaining.

SAPPHIRE PROJECT ONE: Road to Freedom
Vale/Areth - Coruscant
As Vale quickly found out, the man proved to be a healer and caretaker. Vale watched the newcomer like a hawk, whenever he was tending to Ruhtra. She also kept a careful watch, so that no unwelcomed guests would disturb them, while Ruhtra was healing. For the two days they remained within the apartment, Vale was offered food and words of warmth. Vale found herself grudgling admitting that perhaps not all humans were bad. After all, Ruhtra was human too. She didnt feel much like eating thought, and had swiped her own goodies, but she found herself quietly in thought. She was worried, and even the healers kind words did not make her feel better. The healer was generous with his time and possessions, always available to share his thoughts and offer whatever else he might be able to. In a similar capacity, he bandaged Ruhtra's more serious wounds, and applied lotions to the bruises the Knight had suffered from. "You're recovering rather rapidly, which is remarkable considering some of those injuries," the healer told Ruhtra. Vale wished she could help. She didnt know if her little bit of magic would work like the healers. She sighed softly, wishing she could help more. She sat in a corner, listening to Ruhtra and the healer talk.
That was strange to Vale. Most folks wanted something. More thoughts to fill her young mind with as she watched the man leave. Once they left the apartment, however, Ruhtra spoke freely. "We're in danger so long as I remain in this condition. Leaving Coruscant will be extremely difficult, and we cannot be sure we will not be followed." Vale nodded in agreement. Staying in one spot was always dangerious. He suggested that they find another place to lay low while they developed a plan. "I will need to locate our hunter so that we can stop him. And, we should seek to help those others who suffer, not simply because they helped us in our time of need, but because it is the right thing to do."
Vale mused on that thought. The healer had risked injury himself, to help them. And if he had simply wanted credits, he could have turned them in, and walked away. Vale tugged on one of her horns. It was hard sometimes, to remember things. Like it was when her father was with her. He always talked about a balance, and how beings should act. He was honorable. And Vale had realized the cost of that honor. Her brother, she still had no clue. And she still didnt really understand why they seemed to hard bent to kill them. But in the end, it didnt really matter. Her family was gone, and she was on the run. Vale didnt cry as much now, as she had, when she and Ruhtra had first met. She felt as if she had run out of them. But she came close, when she saw Ruhtra get hurt. If people like that, were trying to hurt them, they would also hurt anyone who got in the way. Other innocent people. Vale spoke up slowly. "You cant find out hunter, until you are well. But he wont expect us to hunt him." She made a face. "A new place to hide? Most folks go down into the deeper levels to hide. Me too. But many more eyes to worry about that way." Vale stared at her legs, as she tried to concentrate. "But maybe, we need someplace they would not think we hide. Somplace higher? With lots of crosswalks."
Vale uncurled her legs, and walked over to where she could take a quick look out of the window. Vale looked about, and then turned away from the window, making sure to cover it. She then looked down at herself, and frowned even more. "And they looking for me. Maybe ... I need to change too. Look diffrent." Vale sniffed softly, and then looked up. "You think I could look like a boy?" she asked softly, not really daring to look him in the face. There was so much she still didnt understand. But hiding, she understood that. It used to be her favorite game. She needed to learn more. Especially about her magic. She needed to use it more, like she did in the corridor. With that, they could find someplace safe to hide. And when Ruhtra healed, they could act. They could fight back. Vale's thoughts turned dark at that thought. She would like to pay them back for some of the pain. And if they helped out some others along the way, good.

GREEN PROJECT II: Servants of Order and Imperial Law
Marna_Veign
Security Office, Cavalet, Madrine
It was unlikely, but it was the best lead he had. Wren wondered if perhaps the young woman he sought was indeed the same Jeni Childs who recently joined the Palace Guard. "We could always use another addition to our ranks," he said to those within the Security Office. Yet even as he voiced his words his eyes scanned the monitors for signs of the female.
"I suppose the polite thing to do would be to introduce myself and offer any assistance," he added quietly, almost to himself. With that, and a final glance at the display screens, Wren left the Security Office.
He was not at all surprised to see the Inquisitor waiting outside. The Imperial agent indicated as much in their earlier exchange. "Perhaps you'd be interested in seeing the dueling room?" Wren asked, as he gestured onward. He led the way through the hall into deeper parts of the Palace with the hope of meeting their quarry at his destination.
While the image he caught of the stranger did not quite match his recollection of the Empire's target, Wren knew a simple disguise could be the cause. "I believe you'll find this area of the Palace quite an eye-opener," he commented, glancing suggestively toward the Inquisitor.

Coruscant
Very few people knew anything at all about Ruhtra. More than likely, Vale was the only one who knew him at present, for the others of her kin had since entered whatever afterlife waited for them. Among the secrets Ruhtra kept was the sum of credits he had amassed over the years. Yet that secret was one soon to be revealed to the young Zabrak.
Ruhtra organised an apartment within Coruscant's upper levels not more than a handful of hours after Vale and he left the healer's company. So, too, he arranged for Vale's new look. A short visit into some of the planet's premium custom tailor stores was all that it took to dress the young female as a boy. She certainly looked the part. Despite their circumstances, Ruhtra smiled at the sight.
They spent the remainder of the day growing accustomed to the change in lifestyle while Ruhtra's body healed. "Would you like to join me as we revisit those who cared for us?" the Knight asked of his charge the following morning. He'd prepared a skycar filled with assorted consumables fit for humans and aliens alike. The supplies also included fresh garments, bandages, certain medicines and other items the struggling citizens would find useful. All that remained was for a delivery to be made.
BLUE PROJECT TWO: Path of Darkness

It helped to have the right friends in the right places. Nizzal's history and long-lasting friendship with Cassie was certainly no exception. In short order, Nizzal led the group from the street into one of Cassie's clubs, which offered security enough to keep unwanted guests at bay. More importantly, however, it granted the party the privacy they needed for discussing matters of a sensitive nature.
Once they were comfortably enclosed in a private room, Luke began to reveal something of recent events concerning the Jedi Academy and its sinister opponents. "I cannot begin to tell you how it feels to see you both after our time apart. Needless to say, I am both relieved and filled with joy." He hesitated then, looking from Nizzal to Calmand, and back to his wife. "I only wish our visit was a pleasant reunion of old friends.
"I'd not have come to you directly if not for the seriousness of our circumstances. We were, and still are, on our way to Tholatin to meet with Kanigh Rekhi." They all knew the man as one of the leaders of the Dark Jedi Order. Kanigh had been present at the Battle on Korriban some years prior, and had since proven himself a competent administrator and ally to the Jedi Order. "We hope to gain his assistance in these troubling times. If not for Annli'khah, we'd not have known the danger our students and masters alike are faced with."
At this point Mara interjected. Up until that moment she had been watching Nizzal with a curious eye. When she spoke, however, she addressed all present. "Certain members of the Academy proper and its satellite stations have been abducted--all of them female." She let the words hang for a few moments before she pressed on. "At first they appeared as disappearances. We wondered if perhaps the persons concerned were simply out of contact. But, it would seem Kanigh faced similar occurrences with members of his own Academy."
"Upon speaking with Annli'khah," Luke put in, "we were able to learn of the possible source of the threat. He suggested that the being responsible for these abductions might be an enemy of the Brotherhood." Luke's eyes shifted to gaze at Nizzal at that point. His expression remained calm, but the pain was evident in his eyes. "According to Annli'khah, these very abductions are the reason for Vransha's departure. We believe he and Obdurate may be hunting down the being responsible."
There was no need to add why Vransha might have fled so abruptly. The few who knew him well realised he would never allow harm to threaten those he cared about. First and foremost, the Anzat's dedication was to the protection of Nizzal. "We've already lost Vrahlhekh and Gromwalla," Luke admitted sadly.
Marna_Veign, I'm glad you're enjoying the read as much as I am It makes the whole venture all the more worthwhile

BLUE PROJECT TWO: Path of Darkness
Nizzal
Zeltros
Nizzal was certainly glad of one thing. It helped to have the right friends in the right places. Nizzal's history and long-lasting friendship with Cassie was certainly no exception. In short order, Nizzal led the group from the street into one of Cassie's clubs, which offered security enough to keep unwanted guests at bay, and offer more private surroundings for talking. Nizzal led them all into the safety of the room. Once they entered, she took a seat, to listen what was to be said. As much as she was very glad to see them both, she was more worried about the real reason for why they were here. Once they were comfortably enclosed in a private room, Luke began to reveal something of recent events concerning the Jedi Academy. "I cannot begin to tell you how it feels to see you both after our time apart. Needless to say, I am both relieved and filled with joy." He hesitated then, looking from Nizzal to Calmand, and back to his wife. Nizzal's worry grew in that slight pause. If Master Skywalker was worried, then it was serious indeed. "I only wish our visit was a pleasant reunion of old friends." he continued. "I'd not have come to you directly if not for the seriousness of our circumstances. We were, and still are, on our way to Tholatin to meet with Kanigh Rekhi." Nizzal recalled the name vaguely from the Battle on Korriban. If they were moving to see him, ... Nizzal stopped her thoughts, so she could focus on what Master Skywalker had to say. "We hope to gain his assistance in these troubling times. If not for Annli'khah, we'd not have known the danger our students and masters alike are faced with."
Nizzal was doing her best not to squirm, as she had noticed that Mara was watching her for some reason. Mara spoke now,and she addressed all present. "Certain members of the Academy proper and its satellite stations have been abducted--all of them female." Nizzal suddenly felt her stomach drop. She didnt like where this was going. Mara let the words hang for a few moments before she pressed on. "At first they appeared as disappearances. We wondered if perhaps the persons concerned were simply out of contact. But, it would seem Kanigh faced similar occurrences with members of his own Academy." By now, Nizzal was seriously beginning to wonder if this might have something to do with the missing dancers...and perhaps, even more. Master Skywalker's voice interrupted her thoughts.
Nizzal's eyes narrowed, as her lekku moved slowly. "According to Annli'khah, these very abductions are the reason for Vransha's departure. We believe he and Obdurate may be hunting down the being responsible." As Master Skywalker's statement rolled around in her mind, he finished his statement. "We've already lost Vrahlhekh and Gromwalla," Luke admitted sadly.
Vrahlehekh? Gromwalla? GONE?! Nizzal felt the heat slowly rise to her face, along with a growing feeling she didnt wish to put a name to at the moment. She had respect for the large Wookie. Even with her shields going full, she did not like the thoughts she was now having. She was not sure at anything at the moment. But the fact that someone was looking for Calmand and she, not long after they had set foot on Zeltros, didnt help. Her lekku moved with a slow sway, as she mulled over the information given to her. She looked over at Calmand, knowing that he had to be feeling the lost of his companions, and then she spoke slolwy to their guests.
"Interesting." Nizzal spoke slowly, her voice dropped deep, with a slight edge to it. "Ever since we have arrived here, I have heard someone has been looking for us." Nizzal gently flexed her fingers. "And Calmand found out there is the presense of a Dathomiri Witch nearby. And there is another member of the brotherhood here." Nizzal paused for just a moment, before she continued. "If that is the case, she is probably in danger as well, if not already gone missing." Nizzal rose slowly, and began to pace. She was not liking where this was going. Why only female? She had a nasty feeling why that might be happening. She looked up, looking towards Master Skywalker and Mara, trying very hard not to let the thoughts she was now feeling bleed through her shields. "Certain dancers have been dissapearing from the area as well. My friend who runs various places here, told me of their dissapearence as well."
Nizzal turned away from the group, as she let her growing anger flow into the Force. Nizzal was normally not into reading things into a situation, but this time, the circumstances were a bit too close to her liking. particularly the fact, that whatever was out there, was hunting females Force sensatives in particular. Nizzal was very quickly finding herself warring with conflicting emotions deep within. Nizzal would not normally want to expose a child to such dangers at such a time. But her growing anger was demanding a response. She had never felt such a response before, was she was working hard to quell it. She was also trying ot push away a growing nagging thought, that perhaps it might be that she might be some of the cause of such things, even thought she had no sure proof of things. But, she had now a driving need to find out who was responsible for such a thing. And she was sure that Vransha was not going to approve of her actions, even if he understood the why. Her lekku slowly moving as she stood deep in thought. A enemy of the Brotherhood? If that was the case, she would indeed be a prime target. And whomever this being was, seemed to know what she looked like. Could it be someone from the battle of Korriban? It was quite possible, so many were there. But why now? And why were they including dancers? Nizzal mulled over that over. Nizzal froze. She had connections with some of them from her past. But those connections were hidden deep and well burried. However, according to Calmand, his friend also knew a few of them. There was also a feeling that if she did happen to run, others would feel the pressure. And she was not willing to sacrifice others on her behalf.
Nizzal was silent, as she focused on her shields. It was what had kept them safe so far. There were other issues. Should she say something? The way Mara had been looking at her, made her wonder. She slowly turned, and looked at the group again, this time deep within the Force itself. According to what she saw, if Calmand said nothing, she would. But first, she needed to know, for her own peace of mind. There was something nagging at her, that the quiet voice in the back of her mind would not let stay silent. Nizzal was looking directly towards Master Skywalker and Mara now. "I have been feeling something stalking me, for some time now. I thought perhaps I was reading something else. But now, with the information you bring us..." Nizzal lekku laid along her back, her skin darkened to a slightly deeper red tone. "I think I am tired of being chased." she stated softly.

SAPPHIRE PROJECT ONE: Road to Freedom
Vale - Coruscant
If Vale didnt admit it aloud, she was glad that Ruhtra was soon well enough for them to leave the Corridor. It was true, she didnt know much about Ruhtra. Didnt really mater, but some times things about him suprised her. Like now. Ruhtra organised an apartment within Coruscant's upper levels not more than a handful of hours after Vale and he left the healer's company. She was simply amazed at such things, but very happy that it could be done. He arranged for Vale's new look. A short visit into some of the planet's premium custom tailor stores was all that it took to dress the young female as a boy. Vale did her very best not to tug and pull at the strange feeling clothing, even as she looked at herself in a mirror. She kinda looked like her brother. As she stood in the mirror, trying to get the right 'feel' of things, trying hard to remember that this WAS her idea, she made a face in the mirror. As she looked away, she noticed that Ruhtra had caught her 'act', and smiled at the sight. She threw her hair into her face, hiding the fact she felt her face flush. So, she tried to remember how silly her brother used to act instead, asthey headed out of the tailor's shop. They spent the remainder of the day growing accustomed to the change in lifestyle while Ruhtra's body healed. As they moved around abit, Vale caught herself staring at any boys they ran accross, and trying to pick up a few of their manerisims. She then gave that up, and decided she would try to pick up more of Ruhtra's movements. After all, she was used to his more or less now. Besides, it was not as annoying. HUMPH. Sit with your legs open, grunt and scratch. Well, its not what Ruhtra did, but a lot of the others boys sure seemed to. She decided this could be harder than she thought. One time, she almost blew her cover by almost heading into the wrong 'freshner. She decided then, she would wait until they were someplace safe, before she experienced THAT again. For the most part, she got used to how the clothes fitted diffrently, and closed wierd. Other than that, she stayed close, while Ruhtra healed some more. Thank goodness boys wore their hair long as well. Just didnt bother to brush or comb it, perfering it to be wild. Fine with her.
Next morning, she was eating breakfast, when Ruhtra came into the room. "Would you like to join me as we revisit those who cared for us?" he asked her. She nodded enthustiacally, with a mouth full of food. "Yes." she replied, when she managed to swallow some of her food. "I'd like that." She quickly finished her meal, and then followed him. He'd prepared a skycar filled with assorted consumables fit for humans and aliens alike. The supplies also included fresh garments, bandages, certain medicines and other items the struggling citizens would find useful. All that remained was for a delivery to be made. Vale looked at the skycar, and then back at Ruhtra. "How we gonna find him? If the bad people still in area, they will notice us. Especially if you go all shiny?" she asked, looking at him, or more directly, his armor. She looked back at the speeder, as she thought about it She then looked back up at Ruhtra. "He had magic too. But not alot. Much weaker. Can we find him with that?" she asked. She then gave a frown. She really hoped there were no more bad men back in the same area. For one, Ruhtra was still injured. He could not fight them off well. Also, they would probably not be nice to the people living there either. Personally, Vale would love the chance to pay them back, but not at the risk of others. And Ruhtra seemed to think this was very important. So, no matter what, they were going. For she was not going to let him go alone. Not after last time.

Coruscant
Vale was young, but she was intelligent beyond her years. The more time he spent with her, the more Ruhtra admired the young Zabrak. He held his amusement in check as he watched Vale 'fit into' the role of playing a boy, though he knew the Zabrak caught him smiling at her on more than one occasion. At times she would return the gesture and they would share the moment.
There was work to be done, however, and Vale reminded Ruhtra that he'd be hard pressed to avoid arousing suspicion if he insisted on wearing his armour. So it was that she saw him without it for one of those very rare times. The Knight changed into the formal dress of a businessman. There were so many foreigners visiting and leaving Coruscant that it hardly mattered whether he fit in or not. Ruhtra wore his long blonde hair in a ponytail, which was tied neatly at the base of his neck; his garments were of soft cloth, and his boots a thick leather. He also wore a bright ring on his left hand, just short of his little finger.
They headed toward their skycar shortly after breakfast. Vale wondered how it was that they were going to find their friend, the healer. She seemed to consider their options before she said, "He had magic, too. But, not a lot. Much weaker. Can we find him with that?"
Ruhtra nodded assent. "We will seek guidance from the Force," he agreed, in his own way.
Later...
It was not difficult to find a place to park their speeder, nor was it difficult to find their way back into the apartment that had been their place of refuge not too long ago. The difficult thing was locating the man who had helped them. "He does not appear to be here," Ruhtra commented, after asking a few of the residents housed within the building. "I cannot sense him nearby."
He frowned in thought before he finally decided to conduct a search. "We will leave the supplies here," the Knight said, his attention directed toward Vale. "Perhaps he will find them when he returns, assuming we do not find him first." As the words left his mouth the Knight felt a slight smile tugging at the corner of his lips. It was the perfect opportunity for him to assist Vale in her further training.
"I will need you to help me find him," he said to her, as they returned to their skycar. "You may be able to sense him with the For--with your magic." His smile was reassuring and patient.
BLUE PROJECT TWO: Path of Darkness
Ktala
Zeltros
A Dathomiri Witch? Luke did not like that piece of knowledge. He knew only too well how skilled and dangerous that particular sect of Force-trained beings could be. That one of them was present on Zeltros was simply cause for extreme concern. There was no doubt about the need for caution in the days ahead. Luke only hoped whatever steps the Jedi took to safeguard their numbers would be enough to hold their enemies at bay.
To make matters worse, information revealed from Nizzal proved that the abductions extended to dancers on planet. Luke could not be sure as to the purpose behind the abductions. A part of him did not want to begin guessing what sinister mind was responsible for orchestrating the whole operation. He wondered if perhaps there was some plan at work to rebuild the Dathomiri Witches as Luke had revived the Jedi order of old.
At mention of another member of the Brotherhood being present, that member a female, Luke could not help but glance toward Mara. There were few enough known members of that secret order that it was not difficult to pin point precisely who it was that Nizzal referred to.
There was a great deal of information to process. Luke watched as each of the Jedi around him contemplated recent revelations. Were it not for their shared knowledge thus far, it was likely they would remain in the dark.
Nizzal was the first to break the silence that ensued. "I have been feeling something stalking me, for some time now. I thought perhaps I was reading something else. But now, with the information you bring us... I think I am tired of being chased."
Luke was not sure how to respond. He noted the sudden change in Nizzal. She was too calm.
"We must meet this threat together if there is to be hope that we'll defeat it," said the Jedi Master. "Perhaps our coming to Zeltros was the best thing for us all. We're together now and so long as we remain as such there is little our unseen foe might do to endanger us." He was, of course, referring to power in numbers. Four Jedi Masters united in cause was a force to be reckoned with.
"I would like to investigate the disappearances here on Zeltros," Luke affirmed. "Kanigh will need to wait." His expression was set, as was his mind. The dangers Nizzal spoke of, the same dangers that had already seen several Jedi Knights captured, were very real and too close for comfort.

Nar Shaddaa, Hutt Space
The spaceport moon was the perfect place. It had everything they needed. Vertically built cities housed criminals and smugglers and outcasts at every corner. Moreover were the hundreds of thousands who dwelled in darker parts. These denizens shared but one thing in common: they were survivors in a harsh climate. They possessed potential.
Some of those very beings had been tracked and approached in weeks long since passed. Yet the recruitment process continued. One never knew when a true gem would be discovered, so it was important that the search did not cease.
One such search brought a pair of females into a darkened nightclub. There were so many such establishments within the galaxy that this one hardly stood out as unusual. The pair of watchers had been drawn there for a reason, or rather, a person. They would have hardly entered the 'Gregarious Bonfire', a hostess club, otherwise.
The establishment's dancers were some of the most talented in the region. Each was of athletic build, displaying notable flexibility, and an attractive allure that promised to send the male mind crazy at mere meeting of the eyes. One of those dancers in particular, a fiery redhead, exhibited a characteristic that shone more brightly than the others. Sensitivity to the Force was a lot like that.
Perhaps that was why the female pair found some competition. They watched in silence as the dancer left the stage and approached the bar some minutes later. The woman was clothed and hardly recognisable as her former persona. Yet most surprising of all was the one that approached her.
Tyranny recognised the competition as a Dathomiri Witch and mentioned as much to her apprentice.

The Crimson Corridor, Coruscant
It was dark within the bowels of Coruscant. Critters of various shapes and sizes darted here and there in search of food or sanctuary. They, like those most often found dwelling within these parts of the city planet, held little hope for a new life. Prosperity was something they would likely never experience. Rather, their lives were as if predestined to be filled with hopelessness and want.
Yet one such person passing through the corridor shared nothing of that despair. He was a healer by day, and by night. What little difference he could add to the neglected world, he added with great strength of will and kindness reminiscent of the Jedi guardians of an earlier age. He tended to the sick and wounded, and offered what little he had to those who possessed nothing at all.
In the space of just an hour he managed to clothe and feed perhaps two-dozen humans and aliens alike. He offered them what meagre consumables he brought with him, just as he did the rags that would keep residents in these parts warm from the chill night winds. Yet despite his goodness, there were some who did not appreciate his efforts.
Just as the man turned to leave the corridor, he found that he was confronted with a ghastly creature perhaps twice his height and weight. The giant alien spoke perfect basic, its tone threatening. "You were here when the attack occurred some nights prior. These pitiful beings have confirmed as much," the alien stated, indicating some of the homeless. "You watched and you waited until it was safe."
When the healer glanced at the homeless, he noted two things. The first was their fear. These beings were afraid of the alien presence. Second, he noticed that none of the homeless could bear to hold his gaze. He felt such great pain from them. Within him, however, a hurt beyond his ability to control began to grow and fester. Those he cared for most had betrayed him.
"They value their lives more than they do your pathetic gifts," the alien commented. "Your efforts to save them will be the death of you, for in your kindness you harboured the enemies of Zakrin Cal'udon." The alien grinned nastily. Within its hand it held a jagged blade the like of which the healer had never seen.
A flash of pain tore through the man's abdomen as he felt that blade rip into him. Again, the blade struck, this time slashing at his upper back as he fell to his knees. He felt something strike him at the side of his head, then there was only darkness.
Several minutes passed while the man was beat and torn on body and spirit, though he was not conscious. It was perhaps a blessing that he fell into slumber for when he woke he experienced an agony unlike any other he'd felt, or imagined. His pain was nightmarish, and still he could not be sure why he deserved it.
He hung on a wall like a tapestry. His arms were bound behind him, and his legs tied at the ankles. A pool of blood swirled beneath his feet as his legs dripped life from him. His pain was such that he hardly noticed the cold. His naked flesh was displayed for all to see, though it was so bloodied that the healer might have appeared cloaked in scarlet robes. And yet he lived.

BLUE PROJECT TWO: Path of Darkness
Nizzal
Zeltros
Nizzal was very quiet, and Master Skywalker started to speak, after the long silence. "We must meet this threat together if there is to be hope that we'll defeat it," said the Jedi Master. "Perhaps our coming to Zeltros was the best thing for us all. We're together now and so long as we remain as such there is little our unseen foe might do to endanger us." Remain together? Nizzal was looking at the group now within the Force itself, even as Master Skywalker continued to speak.
"I would like to investigate the disappearances here on Zeltros," Luke affirmed. "Kanigh will need to wait." His expression was set. Nizzal looked at them all. Calman was his normal calm self, but full of concern. She could understand why. Having friends dissapear would definatelly weight heavily on the mind. Luke was calm, but seemed to be hiding something. Something about the Darhomiri witches perhaps? Nizzal began to pace, unable to keep herself from figiting. She was almost glad she was in another place, for it was the only thing that helped her to maintain her calm. Mara was the most difficult. She was busy watching everyone else. She had already been staring at Nizzal early on, and that made Nizzal even more determined to move around.
She turned away once more, her hand closing around a gobet, with a force that suprised even her. She was finding it very hard to maintain a calm demeanor. She closed her eyes, as she concentrated. Someone was threating not only her, but her friends as well, as she wanted it over. All she ever wanted to do, was to to go await for abit, and have some privacy. Just she and Vransha. But no, even that simple request had been denied. And as the weeks had passed into months, she was finding herself having to meditate more often than not, to keep a calmness around her. She needed that calming atmosphere, and she was finding herself being pushed even further from that simple goal. Without noticing, Nizzal was quickly freezing the goblet in her hand.
With a snarl, Nizzal suddenly snapped the goblet in her hand, breaking it cleanly as she exhaled slowly not looking at anyone. The snap made her look down at her hand. That made her feel a bit better. Her frustrations faded. Not turning around, she spoke, with a dead calm to her voice.
"The threat is even more greater than you imagine, Master Skywalker...." she stated as she suddenly tossed the gobblet from her.
Should she tell them?
She picked up a piece of fruit."It seems one of them was very interested in me. Even while I remained cloaked. I think I should find out why they were so intersted. Im pretty sure it wouldnt take long for someone to show up..."
She bit the piece of fruit, enjoying the sweet taste. She still had not turned back around, as she began to walk to the opposite side of the room. "But whatever we decided to do, we need to do it now, while I am still able." She spoke once more, this time her voice a bit softer.
She turned, and gave Calmand a long stare, before she turned, and walked over to the other side of the room, and took a seat, looking into a large bowl of some sort of scented liquid. She gently reached in, and began to stir the water gently. It reminded her of some of Vransha's and her eariler exploits. She smiled softly at the thought.

Vale - Coruscant
Vale pulled and tugged on her clothing until she felt comfortable at last. Sometimes, she caught him smiling at her on more than one occasion. At times she would return the gesture and they would share the moment. It had seemed a very long while, since she had something to smile about. The dinner had been nice, until it had been interrupted. There was work to do, however, and Vale reminded Ruhtra that he'd be hard pressed to avoid arousing suspicion if he insisted on wearing his armour. Vale smiled. She thought he looked very...handsome? Yes, that was the word. She liked the look.
A little while later, tey headed toward their skycar shortly after breakfast. Vale wondered how it was that they were going to find their friend, the healer. She seemed to consider their options before she said, "He had magic, too. But, not a lot. Much weaker. Can we find him with that?" Ruhtra nodded assent. "We will seek guidance from the Force," he agreed, in his own way. Vale gave that word some thought. The Force. He used that word alot. She didnt still catch the meaning between that, and her magic, but figured they both had something to do with each other.
It did not take too long, before they found themselves back in the general area of whre they had been helped.
Vale nodded, but she did not reply. She was busy reading the area around her. And the diffrent people around them. This place still felt wrong to her. She kept her eyes sharp on the area around them, until Ruhtra spoke up once again. "We will leave the supplies here," the Knight said, his attention directed toward Vale. "Perhaps he will find them when he returns, assuming we do not find him first." 'If he comes back here at all..' Vale thought to herself, but did not voice it. "I guess it should be safe over here." she stated, still looking around. She was positive those bad men would not give up the fight so easily. And she did not like being here.
"I will need you to help me find him," he said to her, as they returned to their skycar. That got Vale's attention, as she snapped her head around to look at him. "REALLY?!" she said, her eyes wide and excited. She was always glad to help, and he said he needed HER help. Ruhtra continued "You may be able to sense him with the For--with your magic." His smile was reassuring and patient.
Vale looked up at him, before she looked out the window of their skycar. Was it like when her and her brother played hide and seek. But she knew what her brother ... well, what he looked like in her magic. The healer, well..she had sensed his weak magic. Maybe she could use that. With a happy nod, being glad to help out anyway she could, she closed her eyes, and began to seek out, as far as she could, someone that had the same funny energy as before. She wrinkled her nose, as she worked deligently to perform the task Ruhtra had given her. She wanted to make him proud, and show she could do something useful, that didnt include fighting.

GREEN PROJECT II: Servants of Order and Imperial Law
Marna_Veign - Palace Dueling Room
Marna walked into the dueling room and memories flooded into her mind. It was exactly as she remembered it. The large frosted windows that let in the light but blocked all glare, the blue padded dueling area surrounded by the red of the floor and reddish-brown walls. In the corner to the left of the door was the equiptment and bench. Marna walked over to the corner and saw the row of swords in the case. She ran her fingers over some of the swords and froze as she touched one in particular.
"This was the one he threw at me." she thought as she took the sword from its place.
The last time she had been in the room, the advisor to the crown prince had tossed her a sword and attacked her before she could get a good grip on it. That was the first time she'd been able to really look at the ancient-style weapon. The hilt had an elegant design spreading out from the spiral of the hand hold. Just before the blade was a set of three gemstones in red, blue, and green on each side.
Marna took the weapon to the center of the dueling mat. She sat on her legs with the tip of the blade pointing downward and closed her eyes to meditate. She felt it would be the best way to finally come to terms with what had happened to her before.

We've been busy moving out and back with my in-laws, while getting ready for a camping family reunion this weekend, and me trying to not do too much, being 35 weeks along now and having smashed my big toe saturday. Right now, I'm waddling with a little limp, and hoping Daisy stayes in until after Stadium of Fire on July 4, and after the zoo trip I've planned for the 5th. She's getting cramped and feels impatient to be born. She hasn't been very still today.

The Apprentice
Shaddaa, Hutt Space
The spaceport moon was the perfect place. Mogra hd been here once in what seemed to be a very long time ago. It was almost like a homecomming. Vertically built cities housed criminals and smugglers and outcasts at every corner. Moreover were the hundreds of thousands who dwelled in darker parts. These denizens shared but one thing in common: they were survivors in a harsh climate. They possessed potential. It was from such a place that Mogra had started her journey. The one that had brought her to Tyranny in what seemed like another lifetime.
Some beings had been tracked and approached in weeks long since passed. The shorter of the pair looked around, her cloak pulled closely, as they had passed under the sign. It was amazing what you could find, in the strangest of places.
She was silent, as she followed her master, adopting her manerisims as she took a seat. Soon, another being caught their eye.
They seemed to have found some competition.
Mogra's eyebrow went up, as her eyes narrowed. She had heard of such creatures, but had never seen one before. "Curious. I did not know they left their planet often." Mogra stated softly, as her gloved hand reached out to take a sip from her drink. Mogra had learned much in her time with Tyranny. They had stopped in many places, and in each one, Mogra had found benifits of training from them. Tyranny wasted neither time or place. The most intesting had been the Blood Pits. The woman they had met from Korriban, the one called Darth Temptress had been interesting as well. At first, neither Tyranny or Mogra trusted the woman. But she showed great skill. So in the end they managed to travel together. At the Blood pits, Mogra managed to hone her already deadly skills. But Mogra other talents were also kept sharp, and she eventually learned how to become a decent pilot of HER ship..the Vehement Fist.
But now, they were here, in search of other things, and it seemed as if someone might be trying to steal away what they had come after. Mogra leaned back, eager to see how her Mistress would handle the situation. They had not come all this way, to let some closed world boogey woman, scare them off the hunt. It was curious however, that the woman was there. Perhaps they would find out more.

Tyranny & Mogra
Nar Shaddaa, Hutt Space. The Gregarious Bonfire
"Curious. I did not know they left their planet often." Mogra stated softly, as her gloved hand reached out to take a sip from her drink.
"They don't." Tyranny responded curtly to her Dark Apprentice. Her piercing green eyes seemed to shine like fiery gems from under the shadow cast by her oversized hood. The Mirialan Force User and former Jedi healer regarded the scene before them for a long moment. So far from observation alone, the red haired female did seem to possess some of the raw qualities the Shadowmancer and Darth Temptress required for induction into the lowest ranks of the sisterhood for training. All that remained was a small interview with the party of interest, but now there seemed to be a most unwanted obstacle in their path. One that not only prevented them from proceeding as planned, but threatened to usurp the very hopeful they sought to recruit.
"She's challenging us." Tyranny said coldly from where she sat, still appraising the situation, though it sounded that she was nearing a decision.
"If the Dathomir Witch thinks her unspoken challenge will go unheeded, she is sadly mistaken."
Tyranny's hooded head turned to face Mogra until her eyes met that of her apprentice. A dangerous glint of intent shone brightly at the corner of her emerald gaze.
"The witch may not be alone and may have some hidden ally somewhere in the crowd. Remain here for the moment and watch for any signs to confirm this. I'll keep my communicator channel open so you can listen in on our conversation. If you speak into the comlink, I alone will hear you. This should be most amusing."
With that, Tyranny rose and took her time walking towards the Dathomir witch and the red haired female dancer. Her moves were unhurried, casual and graceful. She kept her gaze focused on them, gauging their reactions should there be any, as well as listening for anything Mogra had to say. The ear-piece she wore was concealed by her hair and moreover by her hood. None could see it.
As for the rest of the cantina, she was aware of the patrons. She cared little for the music or the environment, hence she was quite alert if anyone or anything should make a false move against her ort her apprentice.
No one would be allowed to interfere with the destiny of the Shadow Sisterhood. Not any Sith or any Jedi...and most definately not any witch from some backwater-outer rim-planet.

Finishing the Fight
As the Yuuzhan Vong War continues, the greatest enemies the New Republic has ever encountered unleash a deadly weapon: voxyn. These genetically engineered creatures are bred to hunt down Jedi and the creatures perform their job well, which is a crippling blow to a New Republic that is now drawn within constant argument in the chambers of the Senate and the Jedi Order, greatly divided between two parties. Even worse, the Yuuzhan Vong fleet draws even closer to the center of the known galaxy, Coruscant.
With the galaxy embroiled in a time of crisis, Master Skywalker calls a meeting on the Errant Venture to discuss what might be done about the new threat of the voxyn and perhaps dealing a crippling blow to the Yuuzhan Vong, something the Republic and Jedi desperately need.
Welcome to Finishing the Fight, a BoP scenario set during the midst of the Yuuzhan Vong War. This scenario acts as somewhat a sequel, or continuation, of the Force-User Factions thread but on a much more diminutive scale. I, Apprenticed, will be acting as the GM for this scenario. Our host, LSA, will be moderating the scenario from behind the scenes as well.
I welcome both new players and veteran players, from Force-User Factions, to play in this scenario. I may allow Dark Jedi and Sith to play along as well, though it’d be great to have a co-GM for those people who can help me manage the scenario for those players who want a Dark Jedi and/or Sith. If you are interested in playing in Finishing the Fight, please do not hesitate to send me a character sheet, of some kind, through private message.
As soon as we get enough players, we’ll begin!
