Orders?” Azervado watched as the ships one by one came online. If Anaxes had been part of the CIS during the war he would have said stay still but they weren't, they had been on the Republic's side. "Move us away from that interdictor field and jump along a course to Nal Hutta, the fastest known one you can think of that was known during the clone wars. And right before jumping piss off these ships, fire a few turbo lasers or something. And then have us drop out of hyper just outside the Nal Hutta system. With any luck we might be able to send this entire fleet headlong into a fight with the Ssi-Ruuvi Fleet that is there. Change our IFF transponder to show we are part of the Ssi-Ruuk before firing. "Give us the orders Sir, and then tell me how you know there is a Ssi-Ruuvi battlegroup at Nal Hutta? - when that information has only just this second been returned by a probe I sent out prior to our arrival at this point? 	Draeks Ral’ek Bothawui – Drev’starn Draeks’ concern for the two commandos, which had begun to build as soon as they left on their insane mission, took a sharp jump when the explosions didn’t go off as planned. He started counting up from when they should have gone off. One minute… He kept his rifle targeted on the swirling melee between the two Jedi, carefully keeping them within his scope. One minute, thirty seconds… The seasoned commando took his eye off the scope for a moment to scan the area around him, the quickly re-targeted. Two minutes… Still no sign of either commandos presence. Draeks was starting to get a horrible feeling about where this was going. Two minutes, thirteen seconds… BOOOM!!! For a moment Draeks’ finger tightened on the trigger, but even before the mushroom cloud from the explosion had reached it’s peak he placed his finger outside the guard. There should have been more than just the one explosion. For only the one to go off, and for it to be this late, something must have gone wrong. He quickly found himself another vantage point, this one overlooking his original position and waited for Oct and Dye to return. Moss quickly pulled up information on the Bothan Coalition, reading through all the information he was allowed access to. Then he called up everything he could find on the other System Lords, skimming through the highlights of the last few weeks. Finally he called up the info on the Jedi and ACF, settling in to read everything the Shadow knew about them. Tag: Sithy (Do I actually get the info? Or just a brief rundown?) Besk Nay’ek Kothlis “You have a family interest, in a ship that hangs around with the Ssi-Ruuk fleet that captured my homeworld? And you say it’s more terrifying than a whole fleet of Death Stars. Call me strange but I have a really bad feeling about all this.” A few moments later a tech ran over, “Sir, we’ve got the comm connected.” “Excellent,” he turned to Jacen, “Let’s go talk to Captain Vel’bun Tag: Sithy Jakys Vel’bun Kashyyyk System “It was a blind jump, heading towards wild space. They could be anywhere from here to the rim.” Jakys could hear the tension in the ensigns voice and knew he wanted to say more, he’d have to talk to the young Bothan later. “Ok, get me five best guesses as to its course and possible end points, then get a warning out to every system that those projections suggest it could come within twenty light years of. Did we manage to get an IFF or transponder code off the ship before it jumped?” While the bridge crew hustled about trying to complete their tasks, Jakys guided his hoverchair over to Ensign Joseph. “What’s bothering you Ensign?” “Nothing Sir,” he replied, fur flat and face straight. Perfectly military. Perfectly false.” “You have permission to speak frankly Ensign, I know something is bothering you.” Tag: Sithy Girov Bok’la Folor On the whole Girov though it was a fairly good plan. If you discounted the fact that a Dark Jedi could probably read their minds and work out what they were planning before they had any sort of chance to carry it out. So it came as some surprise to Girov when the rocks around them trembled for a moment before hurtling up into the sky in supreme defiance of the laws of gravity. For a brief second he actually allowed himself to believe their surrender had been taken seriously. Then he looked up and saw the pile of rocks begin to follow the laws of gravity again. “What goes up…” he muttered. Before grabbing a pair of stunned soldier and pushing them forward. “RUN!” He screamed. “Run like all the daemons of hell are after you!” He pushed another two soldiers in the same direction as the first to get them started then took off himself, not wanting to be caught beneath that mass of rock when it returned to earth. Tag: Sithy Dall Kas’bar Supernova System Dall nodded to himself as he received the message from Tor’dary, he thought for a moment of trying to find another way, but ultimately it seemed like this was their best choice. He moved to the command dais and activated the ship-wide intercom. “This is the Captain. Today we left our homes and set out to fight. We set out to make this galaxy a safer place for our friends and family. Instead, we ended up stranded in orbit around a dying star. A natural wonder filled with beauty, deadly beauty. And we did the impossible, we sailed along the wave front of a supernova and I hope that someone recorded that because I’d bet my insignia that this crew, and this ship are the first and only ones to survive such a feat. The Leukos has already done the impossible today, so now I’m asking for our ship, and my crew, to give me the impossible once more. To make the craziest, most insanely dangerous jump in the history of hyperspace travel. When we arrive at Kashyyyk we will go down in the history books not once, but twice for this day. But more than that, when we arrive at Kashyyyk, we will have survived. If, by some twist of fate, we should fail in this endeavour, then I want it to be known that it has been a pleasure serving with you all. 	GM NOTE Will post the update tomorrow sometime; I am currently in a mad frenzy writing day wild plot threads for my next RPG, and organizing my little brothers 18th birthday celebration - which leaves me little time for updating. Direct all auxiallery power to the engines and get us out of here, take additional power from the weapons to the engines if need be!" 	GM MODE Sorry for the delay. In answer to Yuul’s question – it is PAYDAY. The Bothan Coalition IC: Oct Oct ran up the hill at full pelt. He had to reach Draeks. He could see Draeks in his field of vision, and quickly flickered his eyes up to zoom in on the image in his HUD. He saw the Vice-President’s finger approach the trigger, and winced as it began to tighten... then sighed in relief as the finger moved out from the trigger gaurd. Oct ran up to Draeks, and stopped in front of him, breathing hard. “We need to get you a bucket. You really need to see this.” Oct said, panting, he flicked his eyes to the top left corner, than to the bottom right, and then the top left again, activating his holo-projector, and played the video recording. We were going to get married, He and I. I just don’t feel that your choice of words was right. They didn’t expect to die on that ship, they didn’t know that the virus would get them, that’s not sacrifice. Sacrifice implies they knew what would happen, and took what was coming, knowing they would die. What happened on that ship was.. slaughter.” A tear rolled down Joseph’s cheek. “Sacrifice may sound better in the press, Sir, but the families deserve to know the truth.” Martha strolled up to Jakys, and gestured him over to her, an apologetic look on her face. “I’m sorry to interrupt, Sir, but the crew have the answers you wanted, the warnings have been sent out, but the course projections are negative. The top 5 suggestions are all the middle of stars, bar that of one planet: Helska IV. We were unable to detect an IFF code.” She paused “Also there is a... priority call for you. It is from the office of the President, but you would be surprised who’s seding it. You may have 5 minutes, if he gives you that, to console your feelings.” Chuckling at the perplexed look on Jakys face, she played the message. “This is Jacen Solo, Dark Lord, and ruler of the Sith, contacting Captain Vel’bun, do you copy? Repeat This is Jacen Solo, Dark Lord, and ruler of the Sith, contacting Captain Vel’bun, do you copy?” Tag: FanFicFan IC: Boss Boss sighed, as he saw Girov analyse his plan. It was good. Except for the Jedi-reading-your-mind-and-knowing-you-plan thing. He imagined Girov was thinking the same. Shaking his head, Boss motioned at Girov, to come closer, when he heard a sudden shift. The rock around them was moving. The darkness was swallowed by the light, as the very mountain they were hiding in was lifted into the air. He looked up at the rocks, and saw Girov’s eye’s flash with surprise – maybe they would be O- No. He looked up and saw the rocks begin to fool. “Oh I have a real bad feeling about this.” He said, and looked at the Bothan’s around him. “RUN!” He head Girov say something equally as inspiring, although more poetic. “Run like all the daemons of hell are after you!” [i/] Boss smiled, then his face fell, as the Earth around him began to rock, the dirt falling to the ground. He saw one of Girov’s team take a direct hit, through his 360 degree vision, and winced. It was not a pleasant way to go. Luckily his squad, and Girov, were ok. So far, anyway. Running at top speed, Boss, and his squad reached the bottom of them mountain in under a minute, Girov was close behind them. Boss did a quick head count. They had lost 3 men. He swore viciously, and then noticed something else. A stream of boulders, rolling down the hill. “You know that feeling I was telling you about?” He said to the world in general. “It just got worse! Run!” The group ran through the open field, onto the perma-crete, before reaching their evac shuttle, as the huge boulders ran down the hill, and crashed through the facilities surrounding the Bothan’s, sparking ear shattering explosions. The pilot, having been commed by Sparky, and briefed, had the crate hovering off the ground, the ramp down. “Get on,” Boss shouted, waiting for the rest of the team, before boarding himself. He shut the ramp behind him, and heard Sparky shout to the pilot to get a move on. The deck began to creak, and he saw a platform fall from overhead. The ship built up speed, before lurching forward. They were in hyperspace. Tor’dary changed his comm. to ship wide frequency. “This is the Exo. The jump was a success. Repeat the jump was a success. ETA to Kashyyyk, T-5 hours.” He listened to the cheering; it could be heard on every deck, and after shaking hands with the men on the deck, made his way to the bridge. He reached the Captain, and held his hand out, ready to shake his hand, when the ship suddenly lurched suddenly, and was pulled out of hyperspace. Into the middle of a battle. “Sitrep!” Tor’dary called out. A voice replied. “We’ve been pulled out by a planetary mass.” Tor’dary looked around. “What mass? He asked, and then realised something. It was an interdictor field. And there were streaks of engines, and lasers, cutting through space. Not only were they in a so-called planetary mass, they were in the middle of a battle. “Shavitt!“ He swore. “Where are we?” He asked. “What’s going on?” “Sir.” The same voice replied. “We’re in the middle of a war-zone.” Tor’dary glared in the direction of the voice. “Sorry, Sir, we’re in space, near Nar Shadaa. It appears that we are in the middle of a fleet of droid ships, relics of the Clone War. They’re attacking something... a vessel from the Anaxes Coalition, it’s shields are at under 75%, and falling steadily.. At current the droid ships have not noticed us. I can open a hailing channel to the AC ship, but this will alert the droid ships to our presence.” Tor’dary listened, and nodded, before turning to the captain. “Sir, what are you orders?” Tag: FanFicFan, Yuul_Shamar The Anaxes Coalition IC: Ensign Roberts "I will tell you what's going on as soon as this ship and everyone aboard is safe! I suge- wait.” Roberts said, as a second alarm went off. “Sir, it’s a Star Destroyer. From the Bothan Coalition. Opening a hailing channel...” Roberts began. “It’s no use, we can only send and receive messages to open channels. I pray to the gods above that the Bothan’s are feeling friendly today, Captain.” Tag: FanFicFan, Yuul_Shamar IC: Jorj Car’das Car’das watched Argyle lie down on the cold hard floor, and swore at the reality of the situation – sending men into situations like these to die. Car’das stood up, and pulled the bed linen from his small cot, placing it over Argyle’s sleeping form. “Good night, Argyle, and Good luck.” He sat on his cot, and waited until he heard Argyle snore, before placing his bead comm-link into his ear, whilst simultaneously pressing down on his tattoo. “It’s ago. He starts tomorrow.” He heard nothing back, but knew by the flash of blue light that briefly illuminated the tattoo, that the message had been received. Don't angle towards the bothans, I don't want our troubles to cost another group their lives, if they choose to help, then by all means angle towards them, if not then just head directly away from the droid fleet on a route to nar shadaa and when possible make the jump!" He stood up and began to report once more. “As I was saying the Bothan-” The bridge lights cut out, and were replaced by red emergency lighting. “As I was saying – we’re heading away from the Bothan’s, at top speed – however the huge drain on power is depleting our shields and weapons – and are hyperdrive is still not functioning. Shields are at 63%, Hull integrity at 87%. Within 5 minutes an ensign had passed him a report, and he quickly reviewed it. “Sir, scans estimate anywhere from 50-75 Droid Frigates, but only 25 of those are active. Their currently all out attacking the AC ship, and are yet to notice us.” Tor’dary looked down at his datapad. “We have 3 squadrons of fighters ready, but they do not have hyperdrive capability. We can launch 2 right away, the 3rd need another 5 minutes to get ready to launch. As for the hyperdrive – it appears that it is, currently, still intact, although it will not let us jump – it claims we are too close to a planetary mass – it appears there is a interdictor somewhere. I may be able to configure the hyperdrive to get around the interdiction field, but it will take some time.” Tor’dary looked down at his datapad once more. “Sir, the AC ship is down to 63% shields, and that number is falling fast. It looks like we’re there only hope.” Tor’dary lowered his voice. “Sir, it is possible that the AC ship may have the material to repair the hyperdrive.
