Are you from R… the planet we are orbiting? Do you know who did this to you?” The diplomats shook their heads. Grissom sighed, and walked forward, pulling his datapad, and vibrodagger from his belt. Ignoring the noise coming from the captives, and the Bothan, he walked up to the man, wrapped his head in a headlock, and stuck the vibrodagger into the top of the mans head. Sparks flew out, and the man slumped in a heap on the floor, a pile of black smoke pouring through his flesh. “Damn it!” He cried out, and turned to the other captive. ”Can you speak now?” He asked, and the Captive nodded. Grissom turned back to the Bothan once more. “Sorry about this – again.” He walked up to her, and whispered in her ear. “We need to review the holo-vids from every moment those diplomats have been on this ship. That one was at best an HRD, and at worst... enteched.” Tag: FanFicFan The Battle at System AX7#2@ The combined scanning efforts of the BC and AC ships located nothing. The hyperdrives still seemed to think they were in an asteroid field, and the droid ships continued to attack; despite more losses; over 20 droid ships remained. It appeared that there was no hope for the Bothans and Humans; as their shields fell under the steady barrage from the Droid ships. In the midst of the confusion, a ship jumped into the battle. Not just a ship, however – it was more than that. It was over 2 kilometres in length, and entered the battle with guns blazing, turning droid ships left and right into molten slag. Within minutes of the ship dropping out of hyperspace, the droid armada was gone. A crisp, well disciplined, voice broadcast into the aftermath of the battle. “Unidentified ships, this is the Star Cruiser Belpheron . This is Baron Soontir Fel; of the Empire of the Hand. How long to you figure before we get back to the base?” Tag: Moss Yab’ia Extra Galactic Location The search took longer than he had expected, but eventually three options appeared on the screen before him. >Vornskyr >IG-100 Magnadroid >Project Starfire >>Please make a selection Tempted as he was to find out more about Project Starfire, Moss knew enough about Droid technology to realise that to create a machine that powerful might have been financially viable for the Old Republic or the Empire, but for the Bothan Coalition it was almost completely out of the question. The Magnadroids, on the other hand, might serve to complement standard military forces quite nicely. He called up the information about the Magnadroids and, while he waited for it to load, brought up the information from the invasion of Bothawui. The list of ships in the Ssi-Ruuk fleet was massive and Moss didn’t even bother trying to count them, he just looked at the number of cruisers that had assaulted his home. And even just with those figures he could see that it was totally hopeless, even if he had been there with his Task Force it would have made little difference. The entire Bothan Fleet couldn’t have held them back for long. He put the information aside and looked to see if the Magnadroid data was available yet. But I’ll tell you what I do know.” Jakys spent the next fifteen minutes filling the Sith Lord in on everything that had happened since their arrival in the Kashyyyk system. The search for the Majestic, negotiating with the Trandoshan ex-Jedi, the powerful mental assault and the images that came with it. All the way up to the disastrous boarding of the Majestic cruiser. “That’s my story Mister Solo, make of it what you will.” Tag: Sithy Girov Bok’la Commenor “Shavvit!” Girov hissed. “Get a group of techs down to the Projection equipment, send a full battalion with them. Step up security everywhere and start an investigation, I want to know how they got into the facility and how they got our shuttle.” Girov took a deep breath, “and get me a link to Kothlis, I need to speak with General Sei’ra.” Tag: Sithy Joao Visay’ak Ruusan For the second time on less than five minutes Joao was mortified by what she saw happening. It seemed to happen in slow motion, the Sith Admiral pulled a vibrodagger from somewhere and rammed it down into the head of one of the Diplomats. Joao’s cry of horror was quickly strangled as she saw the sparks spitting from the ragged hole. “Sorry about this – again.” He walked up to her, and whispered in her ear. “We need to review the holo-vids from every moment those diplomats have been on this ship. Make her as comfortable as possible and get some food into her as well. We can’t stay here sir.” Dall took one last look at the swarm of Droid ships surrounding the Leukos before deciding on his next course of action, “Warm up the hyperdrive, disconnect it from the navicomputer. We’ve gonna make a blind jump. Keep up fire against the nearest Droid ships until we’re ready.” “Sir! With all due respect…” Tor’dary began. “We stay and we die, we try this jump and we probably die. I like those odds better XO. Dall could see that XO was mustering his argument but he never had the time. “Captain, I’ve got another ship coming out of Hyperspace. It’s massive sir.” “All guns target the new ship, fire on my command.” “WAIT.” Tor’dary yelled out, “They’re targeting the Droids Sir.” Dall turned his attention to the Sensor boards in time to see one of the Droid ships wink out of existence, and another become critically damaged. “Well they can’t be all bad then,” he muttered to himself. Raising his voice again he renewed his original orders, “resume fire on the Droid frigates, target whatever that ship isn’t. And recall our fighters, we don’t want them getting caught in that crossfire.” 3 minutes later. “That’s the last of the droids Sir,” Tor’dary called out and a cheer ran through the bridge. Before Dall could call for a channel to be opened the comm officer turned to him, “incoming transmission sir.” “Put it on.” “Unidentified ships, this is the Star Cruiser Belpheron . This is Baron Soontir Fel; of the Empire of the Hand. A few hours later... Oct and Draeks were nearing the end of their trek, the camp was just a few kilometres away, when Oct noticed something... wrong. Primarily a huge column of deep black smoke; rising into the heavens; above the camp. “What the hel-” Oct said, and turned to Draeks. “Shavitt! The camp!” He began to ran, Draeks on his heels. The scene that awaited them was horrific. The camp was in ruins, the remnants of the VicStar reduced to a burning frame. Flame licked bodies littered the site. The air was thick with black smoke, and the stench of burning flesh. Oct recoiled at the stench, and passed a re-breather to Draeks, a look of horror on his face he knelt down by a body and flipped it over, before swearing, revealing a cauterized lightsaber burn, from a diagonal slash across the chest. Oct took off his helmet, and let the tears flow freely. “Looks like someone told the fluties where we were.” Oct said. “3 guesses who.” Oct heard a noise, and ran over to the command tent – or atleast the flaming frame. “The CO-“ He began; and ran to find a smoking, body; covered in burns. A hole in his stomach was letting out a slow trickle of blood, but he was alive. Oct bent down; and the CO whispered something in his ear. Oct turned to face Draeks, tears leaving trails of matted fur, down his face; repeating what the CO had just heard. “The Jedi. Lowbacca.” Tag: FanFicFan Search Engine The IG-88 Magnadroid The IG-100 MagnaGuard, or Self-Motivating Heuristically Programmed Combat Droid, was an advanced type of battle droid that was manufactured by Holowan Mechanicals and used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. Ordered by Count Dooku, the MagnaGuards were designed to be General Grievous's personal bodyguards, although they were sometimes seen serving Dooku himself. The MagnaGuards were commissioned after the InterGalactic Banking Clan refused to hire Grievous's Kaleesh elite after securing his own services as an enforcer, and he demanded a cadre of "more intelligent battle droids" to serve him. Characteristics of the IG-100 Series Magnadroid: The two-meter tall MagnaGuards carried electrostaffs made from lightsaber-resistant phrik metal, and wore cloaks similar to those of Grievous's old Izvoshra elite during the general's time as a Kaleesh warlord. Most MagnaGuards carried an electrostaff, but ranged models were also utilized, often specializing in dedicated weapons such as grenades, Bulldog rifles, and anti-vehicle missile launchers. Other devices and equipment were occasionally used, such as a built-in tow-cable in its arm or a personal cloaking device. At least one MagnaGuard was known to have the ability to extend its arm many times its usual length, but it is unknown if other MagnaGuards had this feature as well. The color of the droid denoted the particular model—black, alabaster, blue, and the rare gray were all spotted throughout the war. The droids were remarkably resilient, compared to other CIS droids. They were capable of surviving decapitation and were able to fight effectively even after such extensive damage, due to a backup photoreceptor in their chests. They were also capable of speech, and often taunted their opponents. Detailed History The MagnaGuards were first introduced to Grievous shortly after his transformation into a cyborg. Upon activation, Grievous killed all the MagnaGuards present, venting his frustration at being treated as a droid. MagnaGuards were first used in combat during the Battle of Parein II 4, where one of Grievous's MagnaGuards killed the Jedi Sannen by thrusting its electrostaff through his throat. The MagnaGuards proved to be formidable, being able to take on Jedi and clone troopers with ease, and were regarded as being even worse than droidekas by some. During the Second Battle of Xagobah, the young bounty hunter Boba Fett encountered two MagnaGuards in the Mazariyan fortress, accompanying Grievous during the conflict. Fett, disguised as Durge with the help of a holo-shroud, engaged the droids in battle, and was able to momentarily incapacitate one with an ion stunner, though he was ultimately defeated and left for dead by Grievous himself. During the Battle of Boz Pity, MagnaGuards were used in the service of Dooku. During the battle, two of them distracted Mace Windu long enough for the Count to make his escape, and one of them almost killed Asajj Ventress with a DC-15A blaster rifle under Dooku's orders. Delta Squad was forced to fight several MagnaGuards on Kashyyyk during their rescue of the Wookiee chieftain Tarfful. The clone commandos managed to destroy the MagnaGuards with great difficulty. MagnaGuards assisted Grievous in the kidnapping of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine during the Battle of Coruscant. Shaak Ti faced off dozens of MagnaGuards with difficulty before they retreated, alerting her to the Chancellor's danger. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi fought IG-101 and IG-102 on the bridge of General Grievous's command ship, the Invisible Hand, shortly afterwards. Kenobi beheaded his opponent and cut its left arm off, only to discover that the MagnaGuard was able to fight even without a head. Skywalker cut the droid he was fighting in half, and Kenobi finished destroying his. Kenobi also faced four MagnaGuards on Utapau. He destroyed three of them immediately when he used the Force to crash a large block of metal upon them. The fourth was partly pinned under the block; it attempted to reach his electrostaff but was decapitated by Kenobi before it could reach its weapon. Following the massacre of the Separatist Council by Darth Vader, under Darth Sidious's orders, the IG-100 MagnaGuards were deactivated. However, the Geonosian Gizor Dellso would later use IG-100 MagnaGuards as a part of his personal army. Two MagnaGuards were reactivated by the Galactic Empire for use as N-K Necrosis's bodyguards, and redesignated as NK-3s.Another pair, IG-153 and IG-182 were employed by Grand Moff 4-8C. Another one, IG-179, was Iron Knight Luxum's chief lieutenant.[13] The MagnaGuard was part of the same series as the later IG-88 line. Training Originally, the MagnaGuards were programmed with the optimum in combat techniques. As a result, Grievous had their minds wiped and trained them all individually in the seven classic styles of lightsaber combat. Once they were put to use, Grievous would not allow any repairs to be made to the droids, believing that their numerous scrapes and battle scars made them look more intimidating to opponents. 	Draeks Ral’ek Bothawui – Resistance Camp The acrid stench of burning flesh nearly made Draeks throw up, and when Oct rolled over the body and revealed the slash across this Bothan’s chest. He’d seen plenty of death in his life, caused enough of it himself, but to see slaughter on this scale and to know it was cause the very people who were supposed to be the champions of peace and justice rocked him to his very soul. He had just finished emptying the contents of his stomach when Oct called him over to the flaming remains of the command tent. As soon as his report came through she read it through, her heart nearly stopping when she read that one of the attackers had a lightsaber and seemed to have some control over the force. Oct ran over to a small clearing, and held out his gauntlet, entering a code to perform a scan for electromagnetic radiation emitted from a object of over 5 metres in length. I will not take No for an answer." One of the bridge crew spoke up, "Sir, I don't think this is a good idea." Marric shook his head as he replied, "Nor do I. But this man just saved our lives AND we are helpless against his ship for the time being. I will gom though I do not like it." The two commandos quickly clambered into the cockpit and Draeks started the power up sequence. As soon as the sensor came online he keyed for a passive scan. “I’m gonna try to find us gap to slip through in their net, I need you to get the NaviComp working on a hyperspace vector.” While Oct got to work Draeks slowly fed power to the engines and let the fighter rise off the ground, then he checked the results of the scan. You said that to make a sacrifice they’d have to of known what would happen. I disagree, as soon as they realised what was happening they had to make a choice. They could do nothing and hope that help might arrive, exposing more of their comrades to the virus. If something happens to you, can I keep the ship?” For a moment no one on the bridge breathed, then Captain and XO both burst out laughing. “The ship is yours Tor’dary, until I return.” With that Dall took the turbolift down to the hanger bay, boarded his personal shuttle and made his way across to Baron Fel’s ship.
